- In todays video, we are pulling the plough out and teaching bro the way of the plough. First things first we get the plough out and get a few bits of metal changed over going through all the main bits of a plough, then we get Bro up in the field and give him a refresher course.

Good to see a Model E turning soil that is unbelievably dry at the start of March, not sure if your tractor has it or not but mine has and its some job, there is a quick entry button on the side of the arm rest beside the depth control for starting at the end rigs, plough goes in to full depth in a few feet and when you let it go the plough returns to the depth you have set on the depth control wheel. Bro is doing good at the ploughing and looking more and more like father Phil every day !

I love the ploughing I ploughed all the limerick bye pass back in think it was 1999 or 2000 ( part of the M7 now) with a 2 sod plough an a case 50 some thing an finshed it with a 8090 fiat happy days took about 13 months 😂😂😂 every day sun rain snow frost so now by the way it's Brian with a Y not Barry 😂😂😂

Steady Eddie some man on the plough in fairness so he is, maybe a bit curved but he was matching furrows well I thought. Bit of experience and he be a top man. Winter drought this year shocking, gonna be tough now to see who the gods favor in mid to late March, the dairy man to grow some grass or the tillage man to get crops in!

Well done bro, it’s a pain to get use to but when you get into it the hours fly by and you’d be surprised how fast you can blacken the ground. I know this might be a daft question but…..can you post your beef if bought online? To Scotland?

Bro sounds like me at his age. I hated ploughing as you had to drive relatively slowly to do a good job. Would rather be on the spring harrow belting down the field at a steady 6mph. Have you ever tried hard edging the wearing parts of your ploughs? I used to hard edge the shares on our Ferguson 4 furrow gp plough and instead of having to change them every 10-25 acres ,they would last for 60 acres +

Excellent ploughing there young Man, completely different comment where has all the wildlife gone crows seagulls worms etc. Have the disappeared from the fields or? I haven't ploughed a field in Ireland for many years but I remember crows and gulls and tons of worms being turned up by the plough I hope the soil in Ireland is not going the same way as the earth here in the states and Canada. point being all living matter seems to be gone from the soil here and it is only used a medium for growing (plants) etc so long as it is fed a continuous supply of chemicals and sprays.
Lots of slurry on around and about so there’s plenty of picking for the birds and they just happened not to come into us that day

Phil have you ever tried the quickshots on your drone? Such as follow me or point of interest? Makes filming so easy, and you could set it to record you automatically while you drive! Just have to watch for wires and trees 😅
I use it quite a bit when I’m driving and it’s usually been the reason I’ve crashed the drone😂
