How much would you charge to paint a couple guitar bodies that are stripped down to the bare wood? One body all gold like this PRS, and one all blue. Where are you located? Please let me know asap. THANKS!
Since denatured alcohol is banned where I live, shellac is out. But I'd still be concerned about durability. If he were to spill a cocktail on it.. smudged up or worse. So why not lacquer or even urethane?
I just found your Channel today. I thought I was the Only Crazy Person who used Shellac. Years ago I washed the Finish off a 55' LP Jr. I noticed it was primed with Shellac and dropped filled with tinted Globs of Shellac. Washing off the finish of a 55' LO jr is Stupid. Whatcha want from a 20 Year Old?
