Watching these videos over the last few months really allowed me to gain confidence as a rider. The tips I picked up from your videos greatly helped me pass my Mod 2 test in Kettering today (only 1 minor).
Awesome test route. Wish ours were like that. It's Sheildhall in Glasgow for us, considered one of the most difficult in the country with an average of only 55% pass rate.
Awesome! Past my test 6 weeks ago.i personally found my examiner friendly and not what I expected .he gave instructions the whole 45mins even when we were on the independent ride he keep chatting. Had two minors but after failing mod1 first time I wasn't expecting to pass mod2 first time ! My instructor said to me just treat the examiner as a sat nav .which to be honest his voice was a bit like a sat nav lol. One way streets turning right at the end and stop signs ( must stop) practise them . I never want to see an L plate again though DAS was intensive CBT to full licence 3 months for me one fail mode1 £800 ! .
Thanks mate . I bought a tracer 700 .e'x demo model .really like it but wish I'd waited a while as I bought it b4 the final test and I can't help looking at bigger bikes for sale .used there's some good deals around .I think I paied 6.5k for mine .. Roll on the spring/ summer months .I covered 700 miles in 6 weeks but put her away now this attic weather is here. Must be horrific for you bike instructors in this weather mare .!
Julian Morgan Congratulations! And passing this time of year also I have my hat off to you. Feels amazing doesn't it! I passed my MOD 1 first time back in July but failed MOD 2 first. Never felt so happy when I passed second time. 🤘🏽
your videos have complimented and helped to cement the training i have had at cameron bike training in Stirling Scotland, thanks for uploading, have now passed my DAS mod 1 and 2 and have a ZZR 600 loving it and feel a lot safer while riding than i might have been 30 years ago when my mates did their test ( some no longer here ! ) thanks again . Andy
I passed my Mod2 with 4 minors i think it was. Ride for yourself, if you think you made a mistake dont dwell on it. Continue as normal. Best advice i received. Along with hitting the 'cancel' indicator button twice just to make sure
Thanks for uploading this video, passed my MOD1 yesterday and doing my MOD2 next week from Darwen, hope I get this test route, such a calm and relaxed instructor, awesome work👍👍.
Graham cook Hi yes i passed and yes I got this route!!!!, passed with 2 minors so over the moon, this video helped so much and thanks for taking the time out to ask me how I got a on, top man👍👌.
ArcadeMAD thank you.we have a great team of instructors here at RJH. Always great to help every pupil that comes through each of our 3 training sites Salford, Northwich and Blackburn.
Ah brings back memories of my test. Very similar route but the traffic was bad at one point so we went another way. Need to come down to your new site in Northwich and say hello as well as grab some new gear at J&S.
I think winter riding brings up your skill level as you'll be more alert of the dangers on side of the road and other road users but however you can still lose your concentration cause of the cold 😰
+RJH Motorbike Training yes in time you will get better Gear and my very first time when I was riding in the winter I use the hot water bottle lol so that way if my hands got too cold I warmed them up but unfortunately the hot water bottle didn't last that long then I moved on to the exhaust pipe to warm up my gloves internally 😋 but I am glad those days are behind me now hahaha
thank you very much.i live in Bristol i passed last year so your video help me and i still enjoy to watch and get more experience and BIG THANKS to RJH Motorbike Training team
„Nsl does not mean a target”, but non stop problems with the instruktors when You ride to slow, You can fail your test when You will ride to slow, creazy.
On the bit were you asked them to pull over, as your pulling away do you need to indicate? I was training for my Mod 2 last week and my trainer asked me to pull over and then pull back out when it was safe to do so, I indicated and got told I didn’t need to indicate as it can confuse other drivers on the road?
I have a DAS question. I’ve recently developed a ‘habit’ of hovering 2 fingers over the front brake and controlling the throttle with the rest of my hand. I ride in the city a lot. Will I fail for doing that in a mod 1/2?
Thats the habbit i had my instructor keepes tellibg me about it at 1 point came up a long side me and smacked my hand haha evan examiner noticed me doing it. Gave me a good telling off so never did it on my test agai. But soon as i passed my test 5 months ago and got my bike i noticed myself doing it again
I might sound like an absolute idiot here. But i know nothing about bikes, can u get 125cc automatics? so i dont have to worry about gears? like a 125cc motorbike which is automatic after completing cbt
125 "twist and go" bikes tend to be scooters. You can also get the "Maxi Scooter" now which goes well above 250. A lot of people recommend passing on a geared bike so you have the option. You may only ever do it once but the more you know, the better!
Such a good calming instructor top class, mine just has a habit of shouting and not really giving advice, great instructor
mark hill thank you
Graham cook no problem

Good points. If you have the good gear to keep warm its a great time of the year to ride :-)

Won't necessarily fail but your Examiner would likely bring it to your attention. Its not what we teach.
