    So I've heard strength training can be beneficial to people with joint problems. Should I continue weightlifting with osteoarthritis in my knee and hand?

      Yes but only with appropriate load, so youre lifting more for rehabilitation and not for performance

    Quick (silly) question: why was Alyssa wearing US uniform last year, then Thai uniform this year?

  • @awmlawoffice
    @awmlawoffice 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Quick question. I'm 40 and have been training for over 20 years. I've tried to incorporate some RPE based auto regulation into my training and think it's great, with the exception of the deadlift. Unless I'm using loads at or near 90%, I can always get another 2 to 4 reps, if I really want to. Really, once the weight on the bar reaches 500lbs, it feels the same no matter what's actually on the bar. My deadlift strength also varies the most. On a good day my rep max might be 40 to 50 lbs more than an off day. Anyone else have that problem?

    Stupid question: why does it say Thailand on her suit at world's?

    • @JuggernautTrainingSystems
      @JuggernautTrainingSystems  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      denmyos the Thailand suit is what she is wearing at American Open. It was given to her by the World Champion from Thailand after the competition in Turkmenistan.

      So she is not required to wear a suit with her own nation flag on.?
