I've been obsessed with getting to know how to build a guitar, all vids on yt either use many machines or handcraft it for months. Watching this gave me the feeling that it's simple and I as a beginner can do it. You're the best keep it up
Thank you :) !!! I really love that top too !! Just do like I did ;) ! Buy some hand tools, some tone wood, watch a ton of youtube videos and start building your own guitar !!!
@@sebsguitarworkshop It's amazing how you made that all out of scratch! What was the trem? Was it stable? (I'm always on the lookout for good strat trems 😂)
No workshop, no problem! Just channel your inner MacGyver and start crafting that flame maple Tele in your living room. You just need some basic tools like a saw, chiesels, sandpaper and wood glue :) !!!
That’s some good questions !! 🤔 What a like the most is the carving process of the body and neck! What I dislike is the finishing process and the sanding ! I have some difficulties with clearing this guitar but at the end I’m loving the result overall!
I didn’t used any paint on the neck! Just cover the neck with linseed oil. 3 or 4 coats of oil and that’s it ! If you have other questions don’t hesitate :)
Haha, looks like we have a guitar enthusiast here! Don't worry, you're not alone. Guitarra and violão have stolen the hearts of many music lovers. Keep rocking!
Siiiick build! Sorry if it’s stated somewhere already but did you use Angie for the body? It looks like anigre from where I’m standing but it could also be another species. This is more so a “hey I think I know that grain pattern” style question hahah.
I used walnut for the neck and fretboard. Espave (or cashew wood) for the body… I didn’t know this specie before ! And I used flame maple for the top :) !!
@@gregcoldwell1531 No ... I found a cheaper version from china on ebay. I think it was 150$ Cad. (115$ usd) it came alone with no saw and no scale template.
I really enjoyed watching this video, the guitar looks awesome. But have you really put in Wilkinson pups? This guitar is so awesome, it deserves high end, or self wound pups. And did you really not protect your ears/hearing during the loud parts of the build?
Yes I put wilkinson pick up because i'm on a budget and this guitar its not for me. I can't go for more high end pick up for this build .... For hear protection you are right !! Since then I bought some ear protection!! Keep an eye on my next build to see that I'm more safe !! ;) Thanks for leaving this comment !!
This is how a guitar building video should be made. No talking just building
Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it!
When I saw it was going to be a hardtail my little heart was overjoyed. Love me a nice hardtail Stratocaster.
I love hardtail strat too !! Its simple a get the job done ;) !!!!
What is a hardtail? Not as rounded I guess, more like a tele? (Or perhaps a P-bass body?
@@chriss2452 a hardtail is a guitar without a tremolo system like a floyd rose. On a hardtail the bridge is fixed.
@@chriss2452 The bridge is fixed on a hardtail and not floating on springs with a tremelo arm.
Still don't know how to install the trem

No CNC router, no band saw, no shaper. Cheap router table, cheap jig saw. well used hand tools and amazing skills! Blown away!
Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot!
Excellent job great build thank you for the video I will be looking for more good work
Thanks!! I’m working on new projects!! Hope to release those videos soon!
Beautiful craftsmanship.
Thank you very much :)!!
Lovely work and great result
Thx so much for the comment 😊
Very nice. Hardtail strats are actually my favorite.
Thanks 😊
Beautiful build. Love the top.
Thanks 😊!!
Really cool job and look!
Thank you so very much! 😊☺️!!
Amazing paint 14:24
Thanks :)!!
Serious skill
Maaan this is so cool. That flamed maple top is beautiful. I'd love to have the means to do this someday.

Great build dude, guitar looks awesome 😀
Thank you a lot !! I'm really happy with my build !!! I'll post a demo video next week ;)!!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever
It sure is! Beauty has a way of bringing joy to our lives.
Hi. Great video. Can you please explain what's going on here? 2:17
Wow great job!! Looks awesome
Thank you so much ☺️!!

@@CornerstoneWorshipTutorials it’s a hard tail bridge .. no trem on this one !
@@sebsguitarworkshop Oh I see! Didn't look carefully, I guess. I thought it was a two-point trem! I have a hardtail strat too!
excellent
Thx ☺️!!
Thanks this inspire me!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to me that my video was able to inspire you.
Would love to do a flame maple Tele like this. I've already got the tailpiece! Sadly, I don't have a workshop.

12:44 : to Get these holes perfectly spaced an in line is actually very difficult 😮
Yea it’s very hard ! I had to mesure like 10 times before drilling the first hole !! 😅
awesome! what do you like or dislike the most in the process?

Beautiful! What woods did you use for the neck and body?
Thank you 🙏! I used walnut for the neck and fretboard. For the body I used espave wood and a flame maple top!
hi there , great work, what kind and what brand of paint are you using ? thanks!!!
I used Angelus leather dye for this build. I used the red one :)!!
Amazing build, what finish did you use on the neck and body?
For the neck I used lin seed oil. And for the body it’s nitrocellulose lacquer in gloss finish. 😊
Looks like you have a map of a body of water, with under water depths, and contours, on work bench!!
😅 some stains from oil finish and dye !
very good guitar building❤❤,im wondering the name of the paint you use on the neck of your guitar
and this video helps me alot in guitar making😂

amo Guitarra 🎸 e violão 🎸🥰

9:57 how do you get the radius on the fretboard
I used a radius sanding block that I bought from Amazon ! 9,5 inch radius

It was listed as Espave (or cashew wood) never heard about it before ordering it! It’s kind of a soft wood. But the grain look great !
Nice job! Is that mahogany for the neck?
Welp i don't like the color of the top and it's shape. But you do you. Nice job
Thank you!
What woods did you use? The neck looks like oak? Or maybe walnut?
What about the body?
Nice looking guitar, very unique!

Very cool build… intonation seems a little weird but who cares, that’s why they make chorus pedals. 🤔😆🤘🏼✌🏼
Thank you !! I reset the intonation off camera ;) !! It's hard to show every step with precision in 15 to 20 min video ... haha

Very Nice. But it had been a lot more fun to see a guitar body and neck be made without electric tools.
Thank you !! Maybe on a futur build I'll do a hand tool only build ;) !! Stay tune!!
Make and market a nice hardtail Strat and you’ll clean up. No one else can figure this out.
I’m not sure to understand but thank you!
