I get asked a lot about what printer I use. I am using the Canada MG7720 in the video but it's really old and isn't in production anymore. The one I found that is closest is the PIXMA TS9521C Wireless. This printer has a few more features but my printer seemed to have a better scanner which may or may not matter.

Cricut can do kiss cut on both sheet and sticker - the trick is to have the background layer in there 2 or three times; it will do the cut on the stickers once, but will cut boarders (the sheet) multiple times, effectively cutting it out :)
That's the technique I always have trouble with. Last time I tried it, it cut out the square and the blade never went near my stickers! I still don't know why!

Another tip for cricut reading the registration marks on glossy paper is to turn off any overhead lights. These reflect off the paper confusing the sensor. Thanks for the video ❤️🇦🇺

Great video, super helpful and easy to follow! Another quick tip for the bleed layer: after setting it to alpha lock, change your color selection to white, and then just select “fill layer.” This will replace the entire black layer with white, without having to draw on the new color manually.

I’ve watched this video a few times. When I try to do this, my Cricut only cuts out the outline of the background and doesn’t cut the stickers. Im feeling really frustrated. Can you help me?
Wow this is so much easier with the silhouette cameo! Just import the graphics, autotrace the edges, add a margin, decide the depth of cutting, print, and kiss and die cut in one go!
ya i think i've seen that and wondered why cricut hasn't done this yet.
I spent ages watching comparison videos of the Cameo 4 and Cricut Maker and eventually went for a Cricut as I wasn't really interested in using the software, I knew I wanted to use Illustrator and Photoshop/Procreate and everywhere said it was possible to just use the Cricut software at the end. I kinda regret not going for the Cameo now because the Cameo seems so much more straightforward, I went for the Cricut as the comparisons I saw said the Cricut was better at cutting and was more exact so I was more bothered about the end product. However Cricut design space is annoying AF and nothing really makes sense, the Silhouette software is so much better :( I hope Cricut updates the software for Mac and PC soon, I appreciate the offset they've added but it's still nowhere near as good as silhouette! :(

what's the size of the canvas you use on procreate?
If you have photoshop I'd recommend doing your outline and bleed in there as you can just add a stroke to your PNG layer(s) and it's much easier than going round by hand! When filling everything in white in Procreate aswell, instead of using your spraypaint brush you can press and drag your white circle at the top right onto your canvas to fill like the bucket tool :) After you drop your colour onto the canvas don't let go and drag to the right to increase the tolerance.
Thanks for the video :) I ordered my Cricut last week and have found it SO frustrating so far! I find that the Cricut kinda encourages waste product as you can't print/cut A4 etc, the fact it adds a 1/4 inch border annoys me so much as it means I can't line up multiple jobs. Also I've found my artwork goes into Cricut design space much larger than the size it looks in Photoshop. I'm assuming it's a DPI thing but I've not sorted it yet!
thanks! I actually use illustrator to create the stroke when I make stickers but it's not as beginner friendly as this method, so I tried to do something a beginner would be able to. I prefer to use SVGs for cricut when I can but otherwise I export a PNG from cricut and don't have issues with sizing. There is a hack for print/cut on a larger surface, there are lots of videos for it, I showed it in my tik toks hacks video so that would save a bit of paper for you!
What type of paper you are using in this video and where do you get it ?
I bought my Cricut in 2020,saved this video and finally used it to reference making my first stickers today. 2020, the dreaded year of the start of embarrassing toilet paper hoarding, and you have the sticker file to prove it 😂 thank you!

Hi there 😊 thank you for your video ❤ I have a quick question(: When I use print and cut with my 2 attached layers it prints out a black outline around every sticker I'm not sure how to make it translucent / white like yours. In circuit art board they are white but once printed there's an outline 😢

I made a stricker sheet in design space. For the "sheet" part I just used a rectangle image and my machine cut it out!

So I’ve tried all the paper and even yours on your video but my black ink just rubs right off when I print.. is there a trick or should I just keep hunting for paper
I don't think it's the paper, it could be your print settings. I set mine to glossy photo paper which I think makes the difference
For the hand-drawn stickers, did you draw them by hand in an app? Or..?

the cricut only reads the 4 corners for reg marks. using that much tape is a waste. you need 4 small pieces and put them sideways on the corners so its covers both sides. boom saves you a ton of tape
it's easier to make the borders with adobe Photoshop
yes i agree, I use photoshop and illustrator for everything but I know adobe is super expensive and also has a high learning curve so this is another option.
