- A toddler in Rhode Island adorably rushed to hug a pizza delivery man goodbye, and the sweet moment was captured on a doorbell cam. The boy's mom got in touch with the delivery man, Ryan, and found out the hug meant more than they knew - he had just lost his daughter.

Shortly before the pandemic I was going through a really hard time. I was at a restaurant waiting for my to-go order. A mother walked in with her 3y/o daughter and the little girl gave me a huge hug. The mother told me she loves hugging. Little did she realize how much better that made me feel

They know. Children know things that we don't. They feel things that we have lost the capacity to feel. He knew this man's heart was hurting. He did the only thing he knew to help him. Such selfless innocence and compassion is what we need in the world more than money or reprieve.

THEY REALLY ARE! My nephew used to say things about God & Jesus at 2 & 3 years old that he had never heard before....My sister told me about it & said "Ask him what happens when we die." So I ask him & he says... "Our bodies just sleep in the ground until Jesus comes down on a cloud from heaven, then we wake back up & go with Jesus" I asked him how does he know that? & he said "I just know.."
My sister, his mother was never religious & never went to church. He had never gone to church or anything remotely like that. He was for real only like 2, 3 at the most. I have always believed in God, but I had never said anything about God to him. He is in college now. When he was about 13 I asked him if he remembered saying that and he not only didn't remember saying it, but had no idea of what he thought would happen after we die.

@Jelly Bean I know the question was directed at someone else but, I'll give my "answer", if you dont mind. I think that no one currently alive will ever truly know until each of us experiences death. If you want to find out more about life and death, I suggest you look more into spirituality and less into religion since religion was made by men. Now, I do believe there are bits of truth in all religions, which you start to notice when you know a bit about each of them. So, Jesus and God may not be at all what is commonly thought to be but, they may represent "the light", "source" "conciousness", which many believe is where we come from and where we could return (Buddhists believe if we deal with our karma on Earth, we will go to the source and end the cycle of life and death if I remember correctly). Im not an expert so I do urge you to look into it. I used to be less spiritual but in the last 2 years, I've come to believe that there may really be more to this world then I previously thought. In short, God and Jesus and many other things related to religion may be real, just not what we have believed them to be and more of a clue or hint to the truth and not the entire truth themselves.
Surreal Paradox i was sort of peer pressured into being catholic when i was in 2nd grade(thats when you get communion and u can do confession in the catholic faith) and im in 7th grade now and i really regret getting baptized since i have now learned what they stand for and what they say about people who to them aren’t considered “normal” (straight, cisgender, not racist, etc). i wish i could change my religion or at least just stop being religious completely because of how most religions or spiritual beliefs say to treat people and i think that its disgusting and immoral. the catholic faith and many other forms of religion are very toxic. if there is some kind of spiritual belief that doesnt treat people that arent “normal” like animals please tell me

This brings tears to my eyes. It reminds me of when my uncle (who's a doctor) had a patient who's sweet, beautiful little 5 year old girl had passed away from cancer. His last voicemail recording was left from his daughter and he never changed it. My young cousin who was 5 at the time took it upon herself to call him for his appoitnemnt reminders, give him a big hug whenever he came into the office and spend a while just chatting with him and did this for a while which was ok with my aunt and uncle, because it always brought a smile to his face. I'm glad my sweet little cousin could be there for him during such dark times.

My reference was on the side of paranormal, as the idea of "god" is a fallacy invented to occupy the mind and control the actions or the gullible and weak minded in society. They believed the sincere non judgemental hug from this child is how God uses human life to comfort, even if it's in a small way, to comfort the heart of a person because of the loss of his own child. Be careful that your heart doesn't become so hardened you become insensitive to another's opinion of their belief of this moment being heavenly sent.

The fact that hard working people can’t take a break for a few weeks without losing their livelihood, or encountering huge problems to mourn over a death of a family member is crazy, like imagine having to carry that burden everyday and being depressed yet having to act happy infront of others.

I see your point but maybe guy didn’t lose his daughter that particular day. It’s definitely big loss that hit harder than I can imagine but staying at home with yourself only makes it worse. You can’t change it but your mind won’t accept it. So doing something he used to do before actually helps. Her life was ended but his not.

If the reasons for creating a child is other than the purpose of ultimate goal of the elimination of suffering, then it is absolutely immoral to create one.
To speak in layman's term, it is highly likely that bringing a child into world can cause them so much pain, so much suffering like the possibility of getting raped, tortured and other unbearable pain in life. This is the problem of existence, suffering itself. Don't get all optimistic in supporting childbirth by saying "LIfe is a miracle", "You cant have happiness without suffering". "You will realize the true meaning of life" and all sort of the defeatist bullcrap.
Boys Teacher you know no one cares about that crap right? If they want a child the person will have a child, no matter if they have to suffer through their lifetime raising that child. Most people don’t worry over the future problems of raising a child once they have one. They live in the moment and cherish the happy times they have with them.
