I am a big fan of hers when it comes to national team as I think she is the best new player to joint A team starter position. Rasic retired so she will get her chance to prove herselfe but I think she is really really good, with more experience in serious games she could be next top world class MB

I love this Turkish team, but that was not the Turkish team. They missed blocks because their arms were not positioned correctly; they missed digs because they legs were not set right; their attacks were off as well . . . the list goes on . . . Moreover, they were not playing as one unit. The big surprise was Simge missing that midline ball--typically the easiest to hit off of. Even she missed that one. The last time Turkey played a real volleyball game was against Poland in January of 2020. The Turks can and must do better. Serbia won, but Turkey gave up and handed them the match. I was not impressed with either team. If Turkey or Serbia played the US or Japan today, they would have easily lost 3-0. Many of the mistakes on the court were fundamental errors, basic errors. They can and must play better. But, that is up to them, isn't it?
Serbia played without the whole first team. The best players like Boskovic, Ognjenovic, Rasic, Popovic, Milenkovic, Mihajlovic, Veljkovic...did not play.

Congrats Serbia. Santarelli prepared her team very well. They showed that they are a strong team even without Boskovic. If Boskovic had played today, we wouldn't have even gotten a set.
Serbia played great but they have been kind of unpredictable they played bad vs korea and italy but amazing today.

WHY did Guidetti switch setters at the last few points in the fifth set? Elif Sahin is still learning and putting her in the game during a critical moment was wrong. Akoz barely positively impacted the team going in as a hitter specializing in defense when Senoglu is known for getting points back to back during her serves. She blocks, defends like a libero, and fires up the team. She should've been swapped in for Ismailoglu towards the end of the 5. set for sure. GG is a great coach, but some of his decisions have backfired on him A LOT lately. It's not always the players' fault. Congrats to Serbia, what a powerful win!
Yes, Serbia won, but Turkey gave them the match. :-))) You are certainly right about the odd decisions. The 2018-2020 Turkish teams were amazing. This team is off and not playing well. The coaches don't seem to mind, and the players are not measuring up to their potential. They need to focus, be mindful of each play, and play until each play has finished. I don't see any passion on their side of the court.
Have you watched the game? Cansu played bad most of the time, of course he's gonna give an opportunity to someone else when one player plays bad.
They would've won if those were the only mistakes. Karakurt should've played in the 5th set and Baladın should've stayed in the game, she scored 18 points.
@@heavyblue4985 yes I watched the game :) I also play volleyball so I KNOW when the setter is subbed out during critical points, there is a higher chance of inconsistency. the setter is the orchestrator of plays, and it is clear that this is no Naz/cansu sub...elif is extremely inexperienced...do you watch the sultans league? she has raw talent...but they've only been training as a national team for a few weeks...

Another problem is just 2 week they training together after Vakifbank win 5th trophy at Super Final. We can see that Turkiye team dont have spirit defense like Thailand, China or Japan. It's Big problem if you want to play in Final at Ankara - turkiye cannot make it if they play like they show at brasilia.
For someone watching from the outside, this match was a great match to watch.But it was tremendously sad to watch as a Turkish fan.We are going backwards day by day and this is due to the bad performance of the players as well as the unfair player choices of coach Giovanni and the fact that she changes players very often during the match. Congrats to Serbia

Amazing performance in attacks by Lozo and Bjelica, Aleksic and Stevanovic were amazing in blocks (15 points combined) and really good digs by Pusic. Really hope they make it to the final eight tournament. Congrats 🇷🇸 👏🏼

@@heavyblue4985 Sara i Kaca Lazovic. Mislio sam ranije da je Busa bolja opcija umesto Sare ali sam bio u zabludi definitvno. Toj devojci ili nije data sansa ili je ovo njena najbolja forma ikada, u svakom slucaju trebalo bi dati sansu. Lazovic, Lozo, Milenkovic(iako nisam njen fan) pa videti koja se kako pokaze u ozbiljnim utakmicama. Ali svakako je dobro sto imamo opcije sada za razliku od proslog evropskog gde je falila Brankicina enegrija i nismo imali dobrog primaca koji moze da bide dobar u napadu. Sada se vec otvara prostor i moze se raditi na tome sa novim mladjim igracima kako bi se Tijani dalo prostora da se ne mora cela igra napaa oslanjati na nju

Guidetti is the biggest problem for our national team. He had problems with some of the players who deserved the jersey and introduced them to the national team. Gizem Örge, Neriman Aksoy, Kübra Akman some of them. If Naz Aydemir had been, maybe we would have won today, but he even offended her.
Serbia had a similar problem with Terzic, even tho he is a really good coach, he had some quarrel with Stevanovic. And now that they have a new coach, Stevanovic is playing once again. Maybe you guys have to do the same thing and change the coach.

Konuşulması gereken pek de bir konu yok bence. İlk sette hepimiz gördük as kadro ile oynamanın ne kadar önemli olduğunu ama diğer setlerde de gördük ki as kadroyla oynadığımızda bile kötüyüz. Karşımızdaki takım yedeklerden oluşan as oyuncuları olan Boskovic ve Maja olmadığı halde ne kadar zorlandığımızı ve sonunda kaybettiğimizi izledik. Daima voleybol ülkesi diyoruz ama nafile. Daha bunun ABD'si Japonya'sı var. Kore'ye set veren hatta yenilen ilk ülke de oluruz ben inanıyorum artık. Utanmamız gerekiyor gerçekten. Kötü oynamadık çok daha kötü oynadık, as kadromuzu arkadan destekleyecek iyi bir yedek kadromuz yok. Bir takım gerçekten mi kötü olur evet gerçekten kötü oluyormuş.
Even though Serbia played with reserve players they did play amazing. They deserved to win. You don't need only one player like Boskovic or Maja because you already play very well as to be real good team. I really respect you, congrats again Srbija.

@@DiiVA312 Let's just say that some players are not exactly keen on his way of doing things, which bruises his ego, so instead of working out their differences, he doesn't call them to be on the team at all. Turkiye does not have a wide pool of players like some other countries do, so pick and choosing like this can only get you so far.

I recogonize almost all the players on turkish team....they have some of the best players in the world on one team, so I am suprised with some of their losses.

Is it me or is this Turkish team getting worse and worse each game? Or are they playing like this because they are already qualified for the final round due to being the hosts? Cuz this is making me worried about the future of this team. They always just lack, miss against the big teams. Always just lose against USA, Brazil, Serbia. Even against a serbia without boskovic. They have quality players but they just don’t work as a team that well. For example, Karakurt especially seems to disappear at the most important moments

Why turkey is not testing new young players like everybody else? They have been using their A team all vnl i would like to get to know the talent of every nation. So far Frantti for Usa and julia bergmann of brazil are the new players i discovered this vnl and were impressed by them.

Guidetti was not a good sample for the matches in Brasil.
He declared that other then Korea all teams are very strong. Will be very hard time for the team.

But Aleksic can fill the gap that is left, in addition to Popovic and Stevanovic who are older proven players, althought I had doubts about Stevanovic as she is a bit older and seemed out of form she proved me wrong, she can still play world class volleyball. Aleksic is really promissing in my opinion, I am a big fan of hers, really love her

We know of course the strength and value of players like Eda or Ebrar but they are so expert and Turkey now (especially in VNL) needs new players, a breath of new fresh air
they focus at the wrong tournaments. That is the reason they usually stay without a medal in 3 biggest competitions.
