@@TitiReis-t2s Well Vargas is becoming Vargas. I just do not like that when Elif Sahin is the setter, she goes away from Vargas and starts feeding Ebrar over and over again, and then when she feeds Vargas, it is when Melissa is out of position. Turkiye almost lost the set, and it took Cansu Ozbay coming in to dig them out of set 2. Of course the service pressure Derya put on Serbia did not hurt. She took them all the way back on 5 or 6 straight service points, on which she even had 2 aces. Yes Derya had more aces than Melissa who had one.

@@migarozzi6054 ? :)) That is funny, how emotional you feel. The trainer, you mean Santarelli, such a nice man, he is not a belittling type of person. Plus everyone knows Brazil is strong in Volleyball and something we hold our breath when there is competition. If he gave an interview or something his words taken out of context or a short dialouge, of course, in games coaches say what they see as a challenge 'at that moment'. The ball is round, Turkey was better playing last year for example, same with Brazil, it had years it was way better playing - this happens to all teams. That is how sports is. Good teams are still good teams, everyone aware, but in each time they play, their energy might fluctuate. Why would he belittle Brazil? :)) It is not personal!

@yelizk8667 Overall, the youngest members, both 19y old, are doing great. Kurtagic is the best blocker on VNL so far, and Uzelac just came to play in week 2 after injury but already showing her class..Some new faces, like another MB, Osmajic, 21yo, doing great, too. Bukilic, and new setter, Miljevic, will probably be on the A team bench in the future.. so, guess we'll succesfully rejuvenate our team for the future major events, like World championship next year.

Guidetti sabe mucho del voli turco y las chicas de Serbia se vieron con ganas, a veces los resultados no salen pero así es el juego faltan partidos así que no estén tristes. Since Giovanni Guidetti swapped the position of national team coach with Daniele Santarelli, Türkiye always won against Serbia. By this match, it's 3-0 H2H in all FIVB matches. But the most epic victory in this era was in the European Championships final last year to strengthen Türkiye's status as the Queen of European Volleyball.

@@BriscoRusly Vargas is Messi or Ronaldo of this game. She made more difference than Santarelli. Guidetti built this team before Santarelli.
@@pandaren_brewmaster The rest of the team work better as a team, and not true completely that Guidetti built. Guidetti got into conflict with some of the most talented players of Turkey and did not take them to national team to the country's suprise. For example, Gizem. You all say Vargas, but defense is extremely important in the game too, without Gizem - which Guidetti excluded before, it would make such difference. Also, Guidetti acts very aggressive and demoralised team when they made any mistake even in the first set. This might work in some cultures but in Turkey, it did not work. Santarelli has a accepting, nurturious nature as a coach, he matched Turkey as a national team better. Guidetti amazing coach and yes, helped a lot to Turkish teams, including national team, but he was not enough to bring the best out of national team and his choices were often suprising for one, two people. These things matter. It is not just technicality and it is not just Vargas - yes Vargas great but before she joined, when there ws Guidetti, he left Ebrar Karakurt alone in this type of position, which is a very critical front line, that could be also criticised.

Seriously, this game was so heartbreaking, one of my favorites. But the Turkish team still needs to look for unity, because they do not play as a team, that is a big problem. And of course they have several girls recovering from their injuries. and others with recent injuries. Still, they are fighting until the end, that's great, because they don't give up so easily. And that is to be admired, well. My best wishes to the Turkish team.
Good observation about Turkish team's lack of unity.
You are right, they are not playing as a team very efficiently and relying on individual performances from Vargas and also Derya. Gizem Orge (libero) also played pretty good today.
But unfortunately, some individual players such as Ebrar and Zehra were not at their best today.
Turkish team did not perform very well at blocks as well.
If they play like today, their job against top tier teams like Brazil, Poland and USA will be very difficult.

I like Derya too but she doesn't receive as well as Hande or İlkin. Teams that have strong serves like Italy create problems when you don't have good reception.
I don't think we can win against a top performing Italy with Derya on the court, we have to receive much better ball.

Oyunumuzda dalgalanmalar var ve henüz halen hazır değiliz. Rakiplere set vermek bize yakışmıyor ama bir yandan oyuncular olimpiyatlara kadar form bulması açısından güzel bir turnuva oluyor. Santarelli hoca özellikle smaçör konusunda derya, tugba ve ilkini bol bol deniyor çünkü bir kişi elenecek. Ebrar karakurt ise yorgun geldi ebrardan tam verimi hong Kong etabında alırız. Yavaş yavaş ısınıyoruz. Hazır olmayan halimizle bile rakipleri çaresiz bırakıyoruz. Olimpiyat altın madalyası için oyuncularımız kendilerini biraz da sakatlıktan koruyor. Çünkü tamamen hedefimiz altın madalya olacak. Bu oyuncu grubu altın jenerasyonumuz olduğu için her biri bizim için çok değerli ve emin adımlarla ilerliyoruz.
Evet, bireysel olarak iyi oyuncu;larimiz var ama tam olarak takim oyunu oynayamiyoruz henuz.

Bir türk olarak söylüyorum. Sırbistan takımının neşesi oyundan keyif almalarını görmek çok güzeldi. Türk takımı ise neşesini yeni yeni kazanıyor. Türk voleybol ligi çok yorucu geçti aynı şekilde İtalyan ligi de öyle. İtalya, Sırbistan ve Türkiye'nin tam kadrolarla ve formda olmalarını isterim. Not: Japonya'yı izlemek de ayrı bir keyfi veriyor insana.
Against Serbian reserves team but Turkey is having difficulties like this? If Turkey wants to defend their title, they must improve their performance even more in the next matches! Melisa Vargasta did not play all year, she had an injury on her shoulder and some players were injured, I hope she will be better 🤣👌

@@erickatmadya3372don’t worry we always start slow, then go wild. I hope we’ll be our usual self by the Olympics. It’s the only thing that matters.
Both of our main spikers (Hande & İlkin) are injured, so we have problems with reception.
Both of our main middle blockers (Eda & Zehra) were injured for 2-3 months, they are playing their first games in this VNL after a long time. So their timing with the setters is not good at the moment.
Karakurt plays opposite in Russia, she plays as an outside hitter here, so she needs some time to adjust to attack from the other side of the court, with blocking and especially with reception.
That is why, only players who perform like they did last year are Gizem the libero and Vargas and the setters. That being said Vargas had a major injury all season last year but at least she has been playing constantly last 2 months or so.

You posted a completely false story about Tijana and Guidetti.
It was Santorelli who let her rest in 2022.
And, apparently, it had an extremely positive effect on "the rest of the team" cause later that year, when she joined them, team Serbia defended World gold, barely dropping the set to opponents. Plus, she's not "in her village."(?) but in Belgrade.
"The rest of the team" is also out of the VNL tournament, not for the first time.
Same as under Terzic in 2021, for example, a whole A team is in Belgrade, practising for the Olympics.
VNL is just a trial tournament for entering the A team bench for Serbia.

Serbia showed that they have so many youngstars player in the future... we will see Serbia in the top of the rank 4-5 years ahead. they plant best seed for regeneration. watch out other countries, esp the team which always use veteran (not to mention)

Don’t compare Santarelli with Guidetti, Guidetti has been coaching Türkiye for a lot of years and he has issues with a lot of veterans which made most of them retire earlier so calling more people to the team made sense .
Moreover most of the players in the Turkish team at the moment are in their early 20s except captain who is the real veteran among them. They are just so good that it made others viewed them as veterans.
Be patient with Santarelli, he is new to all these compared to Guidetti.

Guidetti has always been interested in youngsters and that’s what helped us in this generation but I believe our success won’t be a one time thing and hope for the best from our coach and our players or future players.
