He Calls it an Si but he says it came with the B16, Presumably the B16A3 that the Usdm VTEC model came with. So it is technically an Si, but it is the Si VTEC (B16A3) not the Regular Si (D16Z6) all other models came with the D15B7.

205whp is possible. I bought a del sol a while back that had buddy club springs, valves, retainers, and a ported and polished head. The block was also done up with some high compression pistons. That thing was insane.

F series is great because you ca get them anywhere for cheap probably too vs. An H or B series and now even K. I rebuilt my F22 block with F20 head about a decade back and that thing was extremely reliable, but I didn't put crazy power to it either because I was for reliability.

The Delsol is underappreciated and is misunderstood due to the vocal groups hating on it for: Replacing the CRX = by the Honda guys, being front wheel drive = by the rear wheel drive only guys, being 4 cylinder = by the muscle car guys, not having Vtec as standard = by the Boy racers not a regular convertible = by the Miata fans and being a Honda = by many non Honda drivers as many (kids) drove them irresponsibly and disrespectfully.
The Si trim did not come with the b16a3. The del sol vtec trim came with the b16a3.. Vtec is the trim level, Si is single cam vtec, S is single non vtec.
it takes away the original attributions that makes a del sol a del sol but he doesn't drive it much so......if some killed my del sol like this I would be sick.......but he enjoys it so enjoy.......
Why wouldnt he get a del sol no disrepect to other hondas but if it aint the NSX or S2000 or Del sol or prelude or integra or honda beat then your just doing what other are doing which is ok but some people like stand out from the norm no disrespect to the civic coupe and hatch guys and everything is not about going fast lifes about doing what you want and feel with your ride plus for all you guys out there worried about what kind of drive it is awd rwd and fwd i drove all of them my dad had. A 2012 vw golf R it was the shit and he now owns a ap1 2003 s2000 it also is the shit but if your not familiar with rwd you can find yourself over a cliff real quick and as of fwd it gets alot of trash talk but theirs alot of things that you can do in fwd drive that i would dare atemped to do in rwd and then awd drive is king of all so you see its all about how you go about it i like this guys del sol though it reminds me of my 93 i had snatched from me it was lowered on coil overs and tiger eye pearl brown kinda a like a rootbeer but yeah ive owned about 3 Del sols and i loved every single one too some better then others but they are very fun little cars plus my girl friends owns a white 93 sol as well so as you see were a lil del sol crazy the only complaints i have about the Del Sol chassis is that they all leak the chassis body role squeaks but then again it is 20 yr old plus vehicle but i love em they are fun and sexy as hell when manage to get them done right and yeah their not fast but with money in hand you can make a skate board fast but hey i love the del sol beautiful and thanks for the content very satisfying bro keep it up oh and i cant forget my Accord guys stay up and stay strong power of dreams baby😁
