Thank you for the shout out Sean. Great interview. Thank you Gus for doing this interview, Scorcho is definitely a gem and we are blessed to have her in our stable🏎️🏎️
I bought my Sol from Noel as well and I’ve had the chance to chat with Sean a few times. Very down to earth guy, incredible attention to detail and a passionate enthusiast. Love to see his del Sol driving around and it’s recognition on this channel!
So Nostalgic. I've had 2 of my own. Built the 2nd one. Truly a fun car and quite pleasing on the eyes 👀 I'll always have a special place in my heart for the Sol! ❤
Wow, this is bringing back memories. I see a lot of old peeps from the Team Sol era. I still have mine as well. Mostly garaged and still looks good IMO. :)
My captiva blue del sol 1993 was hibernating for almost 2 yrs. Finally got he motor and trans rebuilt. Now waiting for repaint same color captiva blue. Theres nothing like a clean del sol cruising with the targa top off and all windows down.
Loved the interview. Gives me hope I'll be able to finally restore and build mine. Owned my 95 Del Sol VTEC for 21 years. Isle Green Pearl. Just haven't had the money and time over the years. But hanging in there for such an old car. Good on you for the JDM sun visors. Our USDM sun visors are awful. Greddy EVO2 on mine. Too bad Greddy doesn't make exhausts for our cars anymore. I'd like to refresh the muffler - it's getting raspy from age.
Noel's del Sol was a big inspiration for me. I'm glad it's still on the road and in good hands. I got mine in 2000 and it's been in hibernation since 2005 (military + family).
Honestly giving me some solid motivation to keep going with mine; got a 96 UK ESi (Transtop, black interior, RHD in Paradise Bluegreen pearl). It's been out for about a year now having welding done due to rust here in the UK, but my donor car (JDM 92 SiR) will be giving it a healthy B16A swap soon, with a bunch of JDM trimmings to follow. Awesome stuff, truly - I really like that spoiler too, shame they're so very expensive now being a discontinued Mugen piece.
Not gonna lie. Started making a parts list halfway through the video for the '94 Del Sol I have sitting in my parent's garage. Thanks for sharing! I laughed when you mentioned getting rid of the spiders...lots of those right now.
What an absolute pleasure to experience. I only hope & wish I could have one of my own someday ! Thank you for filming & sharing & that's for the owner of the car for giving us a taste of his pride and joy
This feature is so inspirational and relatable. Hearing that his car was finished after ten years makes me feel better about my black Prelude that's been sitting for five. There's still time!
I bought my Del Sol 93 and I love it, it is so nice, too bad in my country the sun is too hot and you get burned, bur anyway, I love, greeting my friend from El Salvador
nice to see. Have an opportunity to get a 94 to fix up but wondering How much its gonna cost to get running and IF we will even be able to source parts. Been in garage last 10 yrs and the whiole clutch pedal inside is rusted! Worried about more rust damage. Its on 4 flat tires, ill fitted sound system with wiring hanging down inside under dash. Gaskets pulled loose from front windshield. Peeling front bumper. Not sure what it would cost to get her put together and running.
Ground wire is not being grounded to engine. It’s on the valve cover which is then sealed with a rubber gasket on the head. I love when people do this.. lol
I absolutely loved the concept of the Del Sol. Cheap, reliable, targa with storage, lots of trunk space bc of it and low key style.
Great looking car as well.
It’s an incredibly fun car that’s cheap to maintain. Best decision of my life picking one up, has become my daily driver
Thank you for the shout out Sean. Great interview. Thank you Gus for doing this interview, Scorcho is definitely a gem and we are blessed to have her in our stable🏎️🏎️
Scorcho should always stay on the stable, such rad car. Thank you for being a supportive individual for Sean :)
@@AutomotiveAnatomy aww my pleasure, I love that little car. She will be willed down to my youngest niece who also fancies her💕💕
9:42 that smile bro. Mr. Honda changed the world. that joy & happiness will live on forever
Greddy Trust ? From the 90s ? And the paint ? Dude this car is a Time capsule!!!!❤🤙
Facts man, I could not believe that is OEM paint.
Del sol’s are making a come back !!!!! My favorite del sol !

Super rad to hear this man. The Honda community in SoCal is a tight niche.
So Nostalgic. I've had 2 of my own. Built the 2nd one. Truly a fun car and quite pleasing on the eyes 👀 I'll always have a special place in my heart for the Sol! ❤
This car brings me beautiful memories when I found the world out. I moved to Japan I was just 14 years old. Memories to be remembered with love.
The del sol is my dream car right now and i will be picking one up in about 1.5 years, love to see people building these
This motor is clean. The black valve cover, is clean. First one I've seen! It's different, it's nice touch
We love black valve covers :)
That car is Sol clean, I can Honda believe it! Will be installing trailimg arm bushings on my 93 this spring.
Wow, this is bringing back memories. I see a lot of old peeps from the Team Sol era. I still have mine as well. Mostly garaged and still looks good IMO. :)
Mines been garaged for 9 years but its all custom everything. Same style interior just all tanned camel leather (:
90’s Hondas have the best smile to performance ratio of all time imo!!!
Yes hahahhaha

Thanks for the valuable time Jonathan. Do not lose hope, keep building your car man.
Thanks for keeping the dream alive Sean! OG Granada Black Pearl is still shiney!
Love the Honda interviews man. This is like a video Honda tuning that I look forward to every week. Mad props to you. Beautiful del sol 💪
Glad you like them! We appreciate people who share their story.
I am an original owner of a 1997 Honda Del Sol Si . It has 221,000 miles. It is Cyprus green Pearl. It is in great shape and runs great.
I hope this interview motivated you.
Such an inspiration for my Jdm sol
You got this man!
These cars are rarer than we think. They where priced the same as a Porsche Boxter on release
Noel's del Sol was a big inspiration for me. I'm glad it's still on the road and in good hands. I got mine in 2000 and it's been in hibernation since 2005 (military + family).
What bumper do you have dude? I need to get one for mine haha
@@jakubkost7330It was a Mugen replica bumper by Vis Racing called a”Techno R”. They made two versions with and without the upper AUX/Fog lights.
Very period correct. So beautiful and simple. This is one badass delSHOW. 😂 my favorite chassis in HS.
haha DELSHOW, that sounds dope.
Literally my dream setup...black on m7s with a type r swap and nice suspension perfection!

Thats' a super clean car! Great Engine choice!
OH yeah I forgot to tell you, I have Black 95 Honda Del Sol too... Love this car!
This makes me want to keep my eg2 vtec del sol, but man the edm and jdm parts have sky rocketed in value the last couple years.
If its not on the way and you like it, keep it.
@@AutomotiveAnatomy It's in the sun though baking, which is the bad part.

We car people are unique, everyone else just wants a mansion, partys with cocaine and just sleep around
Why'd you spend money on that, when a car can provide so much more satisfaction?
