Got the same speakers, some tips. You now got 4 Tweeters, u gotta either like "disconnect" the one in the new speakers, and use the ones on top of the door. or just disconnect the ones on top of the door and use the ones in the speaker. I would say it's 100% better to disconnect those on the speakers, buy some aftermarkets tweeters and replace those on the door. Another tip, insulation, makes a lot of difference
@@Zacsworkshop nah just add a new tweeter up top and leave the ones in the speakers, that's how it was built and there's nothing wrong with having to much tweeters, makes its sound more crisp and clear. my next build is gonna have two 4.5 in tweeters, two 3 in tweeters, one 10 in mid bass, one 8 in mid bass, one 6.5 in mid bass, one 8 in mid range, and two 6.5 in mid ranges in all 4 doors, i need a 3k amp for my tweeters, 4k amp for the 10 in MB, 4k amp for the 8 in MR, 4k amp for 6.5 in MR, 3k amp for the 8 in and 6.5 in MB. then a 8k amp for the 15
You also have tweeters in the top of the door, i'd recommend changing those out along with a bass blocker, also you didnt have to cut those wires, they make connections just for that, but even then if you can't find them what you did works.
Hey, love the video. Just wanted to ask isn't it possible to use a female spade connector where you soldered the strands? Because it looks like as if it is supposed to be used like that. But if it works it works xD and using what we have I guess.
he went crazy with the editing
i think you're meant to hold the soldering iron on the metal and feed the soldering metal into it not the other way around for next time 👍
Thanks mate
