- Post Covid, online has become the preferred mode of education for students, especially for supplementary education. This has resulted in massive growth in the Ed-Tech space. However is Ed-Tech really for good?
In this talk, CPA, CMA Rohan Chopra, an insider from the Ed-Tech industry, reveals the secrets of what goes on behind the curtains.
Find out for yourself, if Ed-Tech is geared to make life better or worse! Being an adroit student, Rohan was awarded highly coveted ‘Certificate of Merit’ by C.B.S.E. for achieving the 99th percentile in 12th standard Accountancy. Consequently, Rohan went on to study Accounting and Business (B.Com. Hons.) at Delhi University. Straight out of college he started his career in Auditing with EY. At EY, he was informed of the urgent need for US CPAs in India. After completing his qualification, Rohan devoted his time to exploring diverse working milieu, at corporate giants to emerging growth companies in Canada, only to ultimately quit his desk job and return to India, in the pursuit of his true ardour, public speaking. Becoming a CPA faculty seemed like a job that suited his need. Rohan then went on to becoming the go-to CPA/CMA Visiting Faculty for 12 major private universities across India. Amassing this teaching experience helped him achieve his ultimate station in life, running his own Ed-Tech Firm and teaching thousands of students, across India. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
