    To all those asking why buy this or why is this even being made? The brushless options are in a sense replacing what used to be the brushed models. And on top of that if your just getting into or starting off in any kind of trade this combo is cheaper that opting out for the fuel combo by a lot $200 compared to $400. And you’d still have money to buy bits, hand tools, or whatever else you might need for work

    What more do you need ? For the average tradesman, those will handle most of the work that's out there. And, it's excellent deal when home depot has a sale of $189 for the kit.

    Not a tradesman, but a DIY guy who likes using good tools. I have this set with the hammer drill (and handle). When you look at the price, it offers good value, at close to the price of lower quality (ryobi, craftsman, etc) tools. A little bit more gets a whole lot better tool.

  • @247Combat
    @247Combat 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    Milwaukee already has a compact line its called the m12, the best compact line there currently is. The m12 impact and hammer drill have more features as well. The flaw with all these "compact" lines is no matter how small they make the tool heads, the big batteries mess all that compactness up lol. And thats why m12 shines for compact tools and they get all the features like the big brother and in some cases even more. If your gonna slap a 3.0HO battery on it, u might as well just go m18 fuel with one key lol

So IMO its better to buy each individually spend an extra $9.00 that way you get an extra $79 charge and bag for $9.00. Lowes has the Metabo HPT kit KC18DEXQBM for an $129 killer deal.

    They seem nice I like Bosch the Milwaukee have more power but for me Bosch is well made to last for years it's a trade off I mean Milwaukee have the forge battery coming so this tool will be killer Bosch should be fellowing sult behind the scenes working one a version of pouch batteries so let's see what the future holds nice kit I am sure people will buy

    • @engineer_alv
      @engineer_alv 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I remember watching to one of the livestreams made by Bosch UK here in YT and someone asked about the pouch style batteries. Their short answer was no they are not working on those. The technology is still a bit niche and the pricepoints are way higher than a 21700 cell battery with comparable Ah. If they find a big enough market for it they will change their mind, though.
      Personally I don't see people going crazy with the stacked cells.
      Moreover the 5Ah and higher capacity stacked cells don't represent a noticeable difference in size to a 18650 or 21700 with the same Ah but the difference in output is definitely there.
      Now that you mentioned Bosch, their entry level offering the GSR1V-400 looks like a letdown in power, I'm more interested on their GSB18V-90 compact hammerdrill with selectable anti kickback if it ever comes to North America.

      @@engineer_alv I happen to agree Bosch came out with profacter batties and tools so the next evolution would be to make the next generation of profactor batteries a pouch type I'm sure bosch is not going to release some inferior product they're probably going to try to design it with isolation for each cell pouch for protection they will be severely advanced at least when it comes to captive circuitry design would be ahead of everyone else some of their tools are ahead .... I'm glad you guys got ope line out there with a lawnmower and some other products I'm sure we'll get it here eventually there is a market for it thank you for your comment
