The animal enclosure and custom nav mesh might be a good video. I get that it is basically the same as this, but maybe an example of building something start to finish? The one video I have watched from the other guy was pretty convoluted. You explain things much better.
It's on the list. The mesh is done the same, but there is more to it - enough for it's own video. I actually had another video complete, but the sound quality is so bad ... I couldn't post it. Something was up with the mic.
Awesome 👍 learnt some new things here. Im quessing its probably on your to do list but will you be doing one on enlarging a 2km map to a 4km map ? Great video as always 👍
I will! I'll be doing one on just making a standard 4km that starts with a 2km, and I'll also be doing another that takes existing 2km like Elmcreek, and expanding it to a 4km while keeping the original map intact.
@@kevydd-h2p Hopefully it won't be too long. I've been dragging my feet a bit because I've been going all-out on my current map, and depending on how in-depth I get, it will be like working on two maps at once. I guess I just need to plan it out - the standard 4km should be a shorter, easier series that I can do in 2 or 3 vids - maybe less - all depends how in-depth, like I said. I would like to do a series where we build a map from start to finish until complete. That one will take time.
In the video, that particular issue was that the normals were facing the wrong direction. If you view normals and they show up red, they need to be flipped (they should be blue).

Looking forward to those ones.

i always use method 2... didn't even know about method 3, but will be using that from now on 👍
I figured that one out looking for an easier way to make nav meshes that would sit on a hill. Easy, right?!
@@bauerbrown so you can do the animal nav meshes using the spline in method 3 ??
@@BrummieFarmer Sure can. I do them all that way. I have a video on it coming up soon.
What was the issue in method 4? im facing the same issue with the object being invis
