You have to lean back to truly feel its effect. I ended up taking it off. Overall, I highly recommend this chair!

I've used this chair for 6 months and it was horrible. The lumbar support was almost non-existent. The thing would not stay in place and would keep on sliding down after 10 minutes. The fact that the back can't sit straight up and is angled is really bad for your back too. The cushion is really hard and I had to get up often and walk around.

I know this is a late reply, but I bought and returned the Ergo Chair because it doesn't seem to recline very far at all and that's important to me. If you don't like to lean back a lot, then the other adjustability options are great. No leg rest available
@@veronicapelham2939 I also ordered a new chair for the opposite reason lol. I have the Myochair and I feel it leans back too much not allowing for an upright position. I ordered a Herman Miller Embody, It's a very expensive chair but I think its worth the investment as its our health we are talking about. You can't buy a new back.
Just got mine in last night I am 5'7 and it it perfect for sitting cross legged, another HUGE TIP you can put the armrests on the opposite side and they will sit back farther for a better feel in my opinion more support for elbows.

The customer service for this company is horrible. Just look online at reviews from people who aren’t financially incentivized to promote it. I ordered my chair several weeks ago and still haven’t received it, nor have I gotten a response to the three emails I have written the company. Google their reputation! It’s ridiculous.
I thought I was the ONLY ONE that didn't like the slightly angled posture of the MyoChair. I have been struggling to adapt to it, because I've always had good sitting posture (~90 degrees upright), and the MyoChair strains my neck and shoulders because I can't sit up straight. It's always leaning back slightly, like a lounge chair/movie theater seat. It's funny because I saw this review prior to buying, and still made the mistake of not noticing you mentioning this slight flaw. Will be changing to the Ergo Chair 2 to save my posture lol Awesome video!
90 degrees actually isn’t great posture! Leaning back slightly helps take some of the strain of gravity off your spine but many people aren’t used to it.
@@Zamilan It's technically 90-100 degrees that is ideal for sitting. The upper back of the MyoChair is just too angled (I'm not sure if you've tried it). It looks to me like a 15-18 degree concave coming up from the lumbar; so if you want your mid back-upper back supported you'll find yourself leaning back looking for the support, rather than the support cradling you normally. I'm 5"4, so I'm not sure if taller people have this issue. But I have my entire setup at Ergo level and have never had back/neck pain, even while sitting in my cheap $40 IKEA chair. However, I received my ErgoChair 2 a couple days ago, and it is amazing. This gives us shorter people adjust-ability for seat depth, seat angle, lumbar tension, and upper back support tension.
I was thinking the same, I really wanted this chair but many ppl complained about the chair not being stationary at 90 degrees. I can't imagine typing on a computer for a few hours slouching at 110 degrees.
@@hamza4real If you can spend the estra 100, get the ergo chair 2. You will not regret it, take it from my experience. Because disassembling and returning a 60lb chair is a hassle. breh, I'm sorry for being picknicky and off-topic but I think the reason that your computer is producing a lot of hot air is that you have too many exhaust fans and only 2 intake fans that are suffocated by the front glass panel. I'd recommend changing the bottom fans to be intake as well to help with the thermals. Just a small suggestion but anyway great review !
I don’t use the bottom fans when doing high intensive work I have alot of lights in my room and my room is very small my room is only hot in the summer.. winter time like now it’s cool

Bought mine 2-3 months ago. Not what I expected, it's making this annoying squeaking sound everytime you sit on it and try to swivel it.

The customer service for this company is horrible. Just look online at reviews from people who aren’t financially incentivized to promote it. I ordered my chair several weeks ago and still haven’t received it, nor have I gotten a response to the three emails I have written the company. Google their reputation! It’s ridiculous.

I thought I was the ONLY ONE that didn't like the slightly angled posture of the MyoChair. I have been struggling to adapt to it, because I've always had good sitting posture (~90 degrees upright), and the MyoChair strains my neck and shoulders because I can't sit up straight. It's always leaning back slightly, like a lounge chair/movie theater seat.
It's funny because I saw this review prior to buying, and still made the mistake of not noticing you mentioning this slight flaw.

90 degrees actually isn’t great posture! Leaning back slightly helps take some of the strain of gravity off your spine but many people aren’t used to it.
@@Zamilan It's technically 90-100 degrees that is ideal for sitting. The upper back of the MyoChair is just too angled (I'm not sure if you've tried it). It looks to me like a 15-18 degree concave coming up from the lumbar; so if you want your mid back-upper back supported you'll find yourself leaning back looking for the support, rather than the support cradling you normally. I'm 5"4, so I'm not sure if taller people have this issue. But I have my entire setup at Ergo level and have never had back/neck pain, even while sitting in my cheap $40 IKEA chair. However, I received my ErgoChair 2 a couple days ago, and it is amazing. This gives us shorter people adjust-ability for seat depth, seat angle, lumbar tension, and upper back support tension.
I was thinking the same, I really wanted this chair but many ppl complained about the chair not being stationary at 90 degrees. I can't imagine typing on a computer for a few hours slouching at 110 degrees.
@@hamza4real If you can spend the estra 100, get the ergo chair 2. You will not regret it, take it from my experience. Because disassembling and returning a 60lb chair is a hassle. Do you think this chair is better then your previous one ? The head feature was it truly that good with the other one. Ive watched both videos and i rly don't know wich one i should take. I have problems at my neck and lower back due to my chair I have now. So I don't know wich one would be better. The previous one looks better but it's just a guess

breh, I'm sorry for being picknicky and off-topic but I think the reason that your computer is producing a lot of hot air is that you have too many exhaust fans and only 2 intake fans that are suffocated by the front glass panel. I'd recommend changing the bottom fans to be intake as well to help with the thermals. Just a small suggestion but anyway great review !
I don’t use the bottom fans when doing high intensive work I have alot of lights in my room and my room is very small my room is only hot in the summer.. winter time like now it’s cool
