My Challenging Breastfeeding Story + Tongue Tie Correction Baby Recovery

I'm finally sharing my challenging breastfeeding story along with my baby's tongue tie correction and baby's recovery. I want to be honest in telling you guys that breastfeeding has been extremely challenging for me! And I know I could not have done it without the tongue tie correction! Correcting baby's tongue tie was GAME CHANGING! There's no way I could have overcome the challenges of breastfeeding without that procedure.
Even though breastfeeding has been so challenging, I was able to push through and do it! The tongue tie correction and the recovery was a very interesting process I also want to share.
So I hope that by telling my challenging breastfeeding story and sharing the struggles, you can relate and be encouraged that you can do it too! I'm now 5 months exclusively breastfeeding and going strong!

I commend you for pushing through! I can't imagine your relief after his tongue was untied. Such an understatement to be proud of yourself! I don't have personal exp with breastfeeding but hope to. (I'm 8dp my 2nd FET) My sister had a baby boy who was tongue-tied (although they untied him in the hospital before he went home), and she literally tortured herself because she was so determined to breastfeed her baby. She had engorgement and mastitis just days after bringing him home too. I remember her telling me she had my brother-in-law pull on her hair and dig his fingers into her shoulders while she nursed him to defer the pain. Sounds just awful, but she didn't want to give up. And he's a happy active nine year old boy now!

I’m just so glad the tongue tie was the problem and we could fix it right away!
Huge congratulations on your pregnancy girl!💕 And remember that even though your sister had a terrible time doesn’t mean you will too. So if you want to breastfeed, go for it!!
