Thank you soooo much! This is exactly what I was wishing for but didn’t know it existed. I had a little trouble at first until I realized I needed to disconnect the Sena before pairing the MPOW. It works great and is so small it fits nicely into my watch pocket in my jeans. Thanks for sharing.

But finally, apple car play don't start on my Gold 2023 with a message saying : " Apple Car Play won't start due to disconnected headset! Quick question : on Bluetooth parameter for the device, this one is connected with phone logo white (connected) and music logo blue (disconnected). Question.... Is this set up solely for, let's say there is a day where you just do not want to wear a full face helmet ? 2. Will the cardo packtalk bold still function when on group rides if this device is connected? or does this device need to be disconnected?
Thank you for stopping by. This is for days when you are not wearing a full face helmet or for some people who don't have a bluetooth headset. Your Cardo will still function if its connected to other riders. Cardo connects to other riders through DMC mode and it works as soon as a paired rider comes in range. Hope this helps!
That’s great info. There have been times when my headset batteries die and I can’t use CarPlay anymore. This may be the solution to cont. using CarPlay without headset connection. Thanks.

You can plug this device in permanently as well. I don't think the one I mentioned in the video is available any more but any bluetooth transmitter and receiver device should work.
If I have my headset connected , then android auto , is there a way to switch between the sound coming from headset to the goldwing speakers? Also, if I have headset connected but turn it off to charge it , will I lose my android auto connection , as in the headset need to be connected entire time or just at first ?
Hi thanks for this it works a treat, and is far more reliable than normal especially seeing as I connect via shuberth SC1 with my friends, it was always dropping and then having to go through reconnect , the only thing is I still want to take phone calls? Have you any ideas 💡 what would be the best option. I thought about just AirPods but apparently once connected to CarPlay Bluetooth is disabled! Help please 🙏🙏 ps I put a usb audio/5:1 splitter on the Goldwing connection and I can now leave the mpow connected to charge or plug battery chargers ect in to charge on route works great
Hi, I am glad it worked for you. There is no way to accept phone call if you connect this bluetooth device. You will need to buy a bluetooth headset like Cardo or Sena for that to work. If I come across some other solution I will keep you posted. Ride Safe!
You can leave Bluetooth on or off it doesn't make a difference since all you need is the device that connects to the GoldWing via Bluetooth and your iphone will connect via apple cable to turn on the CarPlay. Hope this helps!
I didn't understand your first question? If you unplug your phone there won't be anything since you always need to connect your phone in order to use the Carplay.

I would like to get this device because after testing my Bluetooth through my 2020 Goldwing DCT Tour well my iPhone is connected to my bike with the USB cable, other people I’m talking to on the phone don’t like the way it sounds. So I’d rather use my Bluetooth directly to my phone and use this device for connecting Apple CarPlay to my motorcycle
Interesting, I have never had an issue with people not liking my sound while talking on the phone. In fact most people don't even notice that I am riding till I tell them. Could there be possibly some issue with your mic? This device is great no doubt!
I called people specifically and ask them comparison connected to my motorcycle with Bluetooth or connected directly to my phone with Bluetooth. They all said connected directly to my phone sounds much better I was using a Bluetooth microphone that has 96% noise canceling feature is build in it, very good Bluetooth head set design for semi drivers

Yes the wire is an additional option. You can buy any Bluetooth transmitor or receiver from local electronic store and use it as well. Hope this helps :) let me know if you need any help or if you can't find the device locally.

Different variant means that you can't use this software in your country. Lets say if you are in Europe then you need to install the European version, you can't install this American version on your bike.

You can use any bluetooth device that is a transmitter and receiver. The model I showed in this video is no more available on Amazon but many similar ones are available.
There is a button on the handle bar that switches volume between headset and speakers. Press that button to transfer the volume from headset to speakers. Let me know if that works.
Connect this Bluetooth device to the GoldWing first and once the device is connected then connect your phone. Also you need to change a setting on the GoldWing in the settings from USB to carplay. Let me know if this works!
@@RanGer-498 No, your phone will just connect to the GoldWing via USB cable and as soon as you plug in your screen should change to Android Auto/CarPlay depending on the device you are using.

The Bluetooth always needs to be connected first before the phone is connected or the Apple CarPlay doesn't work. That is the case always with me.

How long does the device last before it needs charging? Are you able to leave it charge in the trunk and use it at the same time?

Can you answer incoming calls or make calls with this device?
You can answer and will be able to hear but won't be able to talk back as you won't have a mic.
