Don't trust any TH-cam reviews that doesn't show the actual product. It is just reading off the the spec with GTP4 generated content and rank #1 for the highest yielding affiliate products.
He also only spoke about iPhones when talking about the Ottocast when the title of the video says "Android Auto adaptor." This feels like a clickbait video
It sounds like you took most of your info from a PC Mag article. Your "AA Wireless" section mentions it being as painful to setup as the Carsifi but your video doesn't show the Carsifi.
Been using two Motorola MA1's for a year in separate vehicles. I have one in my Toyota Highlander and another in my wife's Highlander. No issues with either and we can both connect to each others vehicle as needed. Mine is used 3-8 hours daily for navigation as I use my personal vehicle for work. I stream Sirius XM app and Spotify off my phone all day long, no issues. I will say though, a slower phone will cause drops when multitasking. Texting a photo was almost guaranteed to cause issues while simultaneously streaming and navigating. A faster phone seemed to solve the issue. The device stays tucked in my console and is fairly small. I rarely move it, mess with the cable or realize it's there. It does exactly what I intended for it to do; having to plug/unplug every time I started the vehicle to reestablish the connection was making me crazy. It connects automatically every time I start the car now. My only complaint: #1 Motorola should be clear in setup instructions due to the common "incorrect wifi password" issue. #2 I have a lot of FLAC music on thumb drive I don't get to listen to now B/C my USB-A is tied up with this device.
probably, the devices showcased here do emit and wifi signal. if you have a wireless carplay/android able stereo i presume it does so using wifi signal aswell
Motorola MA1 will have connection problems throughout it's whole short life, because it will die by at most a year based on what everyone else is saying, and trust me I know from experience too. Mine died today after only a few months of ownership.
I have a 2019 mercedes b class w247. I can't access carplay because I have to buy this option from mercedes to be enable.. if I use this ottocast u2-air pro will carplay work?
I have the car link 4.0 and for wireless use it works now I have a 360 camera In my camera so sometimes when I throw in reverse the screen starts to lag which I don't get why and I even try to update it and I still don't get that issue but overall it works I'm also trying to find a better alternative so I can I don't know stream shows on my screen that's how to deal so I'm looking for a second option
I am not going to watch your review. I have Carlinkit 4 and it is the worst piece of junk. Doesn't connect and I am not the only one but many people complained. Please don't mislead people
I want to use Google maps or Waze from my phone which is using Android auto. But while Android auto is on, how can I play just FM stations on the regular radio of my 2023 Toyota Camry while running Google maps?

I'm confused, the Motorola is ranked #1, but he said the Motorola Is "a solid runner-up to the Ottocast" That doesn't make sense.
That is because it is like double the price plus some. They said it is best but the price holds it back. Motorola is #1 for the price/plug and play.

i will never buy ant motorola product anymore. never.
Man how doesn't that make sense? Number 3 is the greatest alternative
I found the best one, that did not drop audio was AAwireless...
The Motorola, I returned due to audio sound drops.
My moto MA 1 was great at first, but as time went on it lost connection more and more often. Finally it stopped working completely after 6 months.
@@Charles-wu3lh That's exactly why I'm here lol

To use the phone with the wireless device do you first have to "unpair" it with the car Bluetooth?
This video feels like it was written by chatgpt
and spoken by AI 😞
Title says Android Auto, but a lot of this video is spent talking about iPhone connection or functionality
I was about to say the same. Low quality video, he never even tried the products. Everyone could do the same and get views
Thank you, saved me some time.
It's basically an AI made video that reads Amazon descriptions without and hands-on experience.
You have the Motorola MA1 as #1 but then in the audio say it is a "solid runner up" to the Ottocast U2-Air. Is the U2-Air the number one pick then?
what a waste of 6mins...
Any recommendations for a 2019 tacoma? Android specifically
does any of these products work if you DONT have native android auto?
nop
With wireless CarPlay do u have to have WiFi turned on in your vehicle?
probably, the devices showcased here do emit and wifi signal. if you have a wireless carplay/android able stereo i presume it does so using wifi signal aswell
No, the phone connects by WiFi and Bluetooth to the adapter then the adapter is plugged in to the AA/CP usb port on the car.
Hi
I own the MA 1, the best adapter ever. Works well in my Ram 1500 2022. And my s24 galaxy 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
Which one would be the best choice for me I have a 2016 subaru forester without carplay and would like to pull up maps on my screen from my phone.
Trade it in for a newer car
Buy a new stereo unit that support apple car play. they're like 300$, easy install
Motorola MA1 will have connection problems throughout it's whole short life, because it will die by at most a year based on what everyone else is saying, and trust me I know from experience too. Mine died today after only a few months of ownership.
Yup I've had 2 die ....no more for me worked for a year first time and less for the 2nd one ....no more Motorola for me
Same with me 2nd just died.
Same, it lived only for 1 year and died. Now I'm searching for something more reliable
The Acywobi works on a 2015 Yukon denali with bose system?
If the vehicle doesn't support andriod auto it won't work
I have a 2019 mercedes b class w247. I can't access carplay because I have to buy this option from mercedes to be enable.. if I use this ottocast u2-air pro will carplay work?
I purchased the Motorola MA1 per your recommendation from the video.
Does it lag in sound?
@@Blackstaar52 I have not had that issue, it cut out at times and and reconnect shortly after, this has happened twice.
@@dret385 it lags for half a second on youtube vids on mine
Sadly it won't last more than 1 year.
is anyone of these being used with a Mazda and can confirm if the Android Auto has touch screen ability?
Will this work on Mercedes-Benz C220d 2017 screen is normal unit not touchscreen
AAWireless is the first and the best. The others are just knockoffs.
U2-Air is NOT for Android.
I have a Chinese car that has qdlink . Can these dongle change me to android auto
So dissapointed, bought a few now and the mokka e doesn't recognise they are even plugged in the USB?!!

Which one is best for streaming
Netflix
I want to use Google maps or Waze from my phone which is using Android auto. But while Android auto is on, how can I play just FM stations on the regular radio of my 2023 Toyota Camry while running Google maps?
I guess you could start the radio as usual. It works in my Corolla.
@@V_Atti it's working, however there are times that my MA1 disconnects and I have to replug my phone using a USB cable...any suggestions
I have the Motorola, but it interferes with my hearing aids . Help
Would like a comparison of the ones in the video and carluex pro+.
My car has only mirror link, is there a dongle that can convert Android auto to mirrorlink?
why can't any of them just be like a usb stick size? 😭
3:45 iphone iphone iphone??? what is that? good video neverthelss ;)
AAWireless is hell to setup...
Just got mine. Plug it in, open the app, connect it, that's it. It was so easy.
He probado todos y el único que funciona siempre es el Motorola. Está genial

And iPhone?
Mototola MA1 no lo compren. Funciona un par de meses y sencillamente deja de funcionar.
No hay soporte ni nada por parte de Motorola.

So Motorola is the best?
Mine scrapped out after 3 months.
Mine died after 6 months. Mayton AutoPro is the best.
I've been using aawireless for a year and a half. I didn't have any problem connecting to my Chevy Volt or my 2022 Mazda Cx5.
Mine worked well for a while but died after about 6 months or so.
@@IcebergSllim mine too. I reached at motorola and sent me one and return the bad one. After receiving it i sell it right away and got me a Mayton.
