- In this video I'll give you a simple breakdown of the Wahl guard system without any complex jargon. If you're new to barbering or are just starting to use Wahl clippers then this video will help you get to grips with it.
Yes rich, great upload again bro 👍 for those who need to understand the wahl clipper guards, this is the perfect video!
Stay safe bro we got a few eeks left!!
What guard do you use on your beard?
can I use from the magic clip the guards for the Wahl senior? do they fit?
All Wahl guards will fit all Wahl clippers so yes
Can a regular color guard be used along side these premium guards in a cut? or they aint going to blend the cut unless you were to use all colored or all premium guards together?
For example, #1 color guard blend into premium guard 1.5?
Yes you can use both the coloured and premium guards together as Wahl’s number system is consistent across their clipper guards. Thanks for the question 👍🏿
Your videos have been helping me - I always refer to your self cut tutorial for my weekly cut. I had a question, do you have tips or ways to get that even look on top that I get at the barber? I can't seem to replicate that, there's always some stragglers
Thanks for watching my videos and I’m glad that they’re helping you. Regarding you question I have a couple of tips. Firstly use a comb instead of a brush when cutting your hair. The reason being that a comb lifts up your hair so it gets cut evenly whereas a brush will push your hair down so all hairs don’t get cut. Go over the top a 2-3 times combing it out after each time. The next tip is a bit risky if you don’t have a steady hand but take the clipper guards off a freehand over the top to catch any stragglers. I hope this helps you out :-)
@@razrsharpuk Appreciate it and much love bro!
Good job bro
2 questions brother!!
No guard open, cuts less hair than 0.5 closed. Am i right? Also, how can we use the 0.5 guard? If we start from no guard open to a #1 guard closed? Or so
Thanks for your questions bro!
Answer 1: No guard open cuts more hair than 0.5 guard closed. The 0.5 guard is the next step up from no guard open.
Answer 2: To do the cut you’ve suggested you would start from no guard open, 0.5 guard closed, 0.5 mid way, 0.5 guard open and finally #1 guard.
I hope this helps.
@@razrsharpuk So kind, so helpful. God bless you and your family bro🙏🙏🙏
