That little van is really super! I'm planning a much less ambitious project for a Dodge Grand Caravan and I have to remember that I simply don't have the woodworking skills to include cupboards as beautiful as this, but I will shoot for functional (and not ugly!) Well done.
That's beautifully built. When the craftsmanship is so clean and unfussy, the van even looks larger inside. Also, I would've thought that separating the cab from the living space would make a small van feel cramped, but because this is so light and airy at the back it's actually fine. Great job.

However, there are people out there who wouldn’t mind whatsoever and this would be perfect for them. There is something for everyone. As I said, beautiful woodwork, lots of love and dedication put into this.
I love this .. excellent workmanship I,d have a roll futon and folding chair.. and I’d halve the woodwork in a darker wax and fill the space with cushions and little plants... great little van.. 👍👍👍
I am extreemly critical for small space living.I LOVE IT. I think a murphy type or pull out bench would be more livable and I would need a porta potty. You slayed it!
This is awesome! The only things I would change is to make that middle bed portion on runners with latches so that it could be moved the length of the cab (and put a cassette toilet inside it) and that cabinet at the end I would make a full length hanging wardrobe through the kitchen bench 😁👍

I can't understand how people can build themselves a camper in which they can't stand up in! To go from a self built, standing height camper to this seems like a major step backwards (I realize that this isn't how the builder sees it!). That apart, I love the cabinetry, especially the radius edge cupboards and bed slats, these edges are so much nicer and give a more natural flow to the cabinets. Thanks for sharing this video.

I Iove this conversion. Separating the cab from the cabin is a wonderful idea. Can the folded bed be pushed all the way back when not sleeping? Where do you store the mattress? In the platform box? For shower can you pull and use your water faucet outside the Van? Is your Van Conversion Guide generic or do you have plans for various makes and models of Mini Vans. My interest mainly is in 2018 Toyota Sienna.
I agree.. the upper cabinets on the one side work with the rest of the cabinet build, but the other side looks like it would get in the way.. banging into it a lot I bet. Other than that.. great build. Just my opinion.

It's so compact, but practical, less fuel consumption and can park anywhere. If couples need own space, then get 2 of them. If one van need servicing still have one more to stay and move around.
This van conversion is excellent, it is a really great effort and a lovely finish, well done! I intend to purchase a VW Caddymax van myself in early 2020 to use primarily as my work van ( I am a Pumbing and Heating Engineer) but as a part camper ( with the use of a driveaway awning) , many tyhanks for posting this video , just one question please? What is the material used to make the cupboard units? Is it 'contiboard' ? or Laquered Plywood? Cheers dx

I have this car but with one side door(not 2 like this video shows), I'm not sure if I should place my bed on the door side or the wall side. So many difficult decisions.

Nice build, the biggest disadvantage of the Caddy is sitting height for larger people. For me with 6.3´ the VW Bus is a must have....

Lovely finish on your conversion. I love the Oak effect. They do look a bit too deep for your space, though. And I couldnt live with that bed! :)
