    Hey your videos really helped me. I’m trying to fit some 2.2 mudslinger xls on my tf2 lwb extra cab. I believe they are 5.5 inches. They don’t look as ridiculously large on the long wheelbase version as the marlin and normal wheelbase. Especially because I’m from Kauai where people regularly lift toyota trucks to heaven and put large and wide swampers. Its a subculture here. But yah So far I have the lift blocks, axle wedges, rear only revolver and z bocks. I still need to dial in the shock lengths and get revolvers and z box for the front leafs. I don’t want to do a body lift so my approach is gonna be to lift it as much as possible using the suspension and run stiff spring shocks as well as leafs. gonna try 120mm first and if thats too big ill go 110. Also some wide wheel spacers to even out the look. I would argue that they look more scale like this since you can see the realistic looking suspension, leafs and axles, with such a high lift. A lower rc truck is hiding all that. Thanks again.
    Also Wd40 is a water displacement But i believe it evaporates. A great corrosion inhibitor is fluid film spray. It even waterproof electronics. I used it on an expansive furitek esc and it sticks like sap but is oily and migrates to cracks and is “self healing”. I don’t know how good of a lubricant it is but it works great as a surface protection from the elements. I use bike chain lube, sticky grease, and fluid film. I like that fluid film is like a grease that migrates. It does attract dirt but that is part of its corrosion protection since the dirt helps it stick in place and acts a vessel for the fluid.

      Two of the "big" lift blocks on each side of the front axle, and one of the Big lift blocks on each side of the rear axle, Plus degree shim's on each end, and you should be able to clear 2.2's and have enough room for a set of 100mm shock's on all four corners.🤔😄👍
      I've got videos of this Tf2 ridding on 2.2 Proline Super Swampers, and other videos of it running on Proline 2.8 Sand Paw's with that same suspension setup (Sand Paw's being the Funnest)😄 lol
      The only problem that you may have is "Axle Breakage"
      Tf2's don't like running 2.2's,🤔 and in time... the stock front axle shafts will break from the extra stress of spinning that extra rotating mass.😭 No B.S. 😕 2.2's are fun on the Tf2's but unfortunately they can't handle the extra stress for very long,😕 which is why I went back to 1.9's on my truck. 😁 lol
      But I wish you all the Best my Brother 😄🤜🤛 if you get some stronger axles you should be good to go.

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1st; definitely a way to switch it back 😁
      But I need to know a bit more info first.😕
      If you didn't mess with any of the Transmitter settings in the process of what you were telling me, Then it's a real simple fix,😄 If the receiver side is the only thing that you messed with, Then it's just a matter of unplugging the steering and throttle from the receiver, and swapping them around,
      The receiver should be labeled for each individual channel, ESC gets plugged into Thr or throttle, and the steering should be plugged into Str or Steering.
      If the receiver isn't labeled like that, and all it shows is the channel numbers, Then the Steering should be plugged into channel 1, and the ESC into channel 2.
      If you changed something on your transmitter, then it's going to be more difficult to explain, how to walk you through the Transmitter settings for swapping those channels around on the Transmitter itself.😕
      I'm about to go film a outdoor run video, so if it takes a few hours for me to get back with you, please forgive me.😁👍

      The Abominable Snowman;
      Wtf is right! 😂 Lol
      I read your comment, then looked up at the snowman, and it moved as soon as I made eye contact,😳 No Bull! I'm not in the habit of lying, haa I just looked up at it again between typing, and noticed it was turned slightly to the right and looking right at me,🤔😕 it was holding to the right, it's not supposed to do that,😕
      It's natural mechanical movement is to turn left then right and settle back in the middle facing forward,🤔 So when it starts doing Goofy stuff, like turning right first, or holding to the right for any length of time, I really start to question things.🤔?
      And in the end, after several years of observing it and studying it,📝📈📉📊🤔
      My conclusion; Is that the darn thing is possessed.
      😂 Lol And I shouldn't be laughing about that,🙄 But what else can you do really,
      I've thought about getting rid of it, or trying to see if Zak Beggins wanted it for his "haunted museum",
      But to be totally honest with you, I don't have a problem with it,😕 If anything, I kinda enjoy the company,😁😂 lol I don't think that I would sell it for a million bucks,😕 I've grown accustomed to it, And kinda dig it.😂 lol
      Dollar store Bumble! 😄
      It was normal for a few months, and then it just sorta came alive on its own, and it's been goofy ever since.😁 Crazy!
      Haa ha ha ha ha haaaa! 😄
      I just looked at it and said What's up man! (Out loud)
      And it turned and looked at me again,😁 Yes sir, the snowman is something else.🤔😕 "Shaking my head"
      As for a video specifically for the bumble; 🤔
      I've done a few videos on that before, but I never posted them because of the overall video length,😕
      And you just can't get a good understanding of it, in a video that's 30 min or less,🤔 and I can't rightfully edit one of those hour+ videos down, without significantly upping the "possible" Shenanigan Factor 🤔 People would be screaming shenanigans on a edited version, And probably griping up a storm "about time" on a full length video,🙄 Darned if you do & Darned if you don't,😕 Which is the reason why I never posted any of them.
      But I might in the future 😁
      Much Appreciated for your Awesome comment Brother, and many thanks for checking out the bumble in detail.😁🤜🤛

      @@R.C.A.D. that's absolutely crazy 🤣 I appreciate getting to know more in depth about what's been going on with that! And I completely understand the whole video situation, I also believe you when you say that they way it moves isn't right.. I noticed that it will just turn and look in one direction or turn each way once then stop.. my mother's had one in her kitchen window for years and it has always been going back and forth.. but it's like your's comes to life only when it chooses to do so. Indeed it is strange,🤔😕
      And I'm glad to hear that someone else has picked up on it.😄👍
      Dollar store Bumble has a mind of it's own! 😁
      I actually spend quite a bit of time around the old Bumble too,😕 it's basically sitting in the main hub of my Barn/man-cave/RC workshop/studio/general hangout spot, So I end up spending the majority of my spare time out there,😕 which is actually pretty darn comfortable, it's like having a living room inside a dirt floor barn,😄 Awesome spot to hangout year around! 😁 I actually spend more time out here than I do in the house,😕 I'll even sleep out here sometimes, which is like camping in style,😂 lol Outdoors, but I've got a roof over my head,a 46" h.d. TV, a stack of blue rays that would but Blockbuster's to shame, a pretty comfortable couch, along with pillow and electric blanket if needed. Camping in style! 😂👍
      Best part is, that it's Quite, no dog's, kids, or phones to disturb you, plus your surrounded by bunch of cool barn stuff too, like drill presses,band saws, chainsaws, tool's galore, along with a few firearms that I keep handy, Incase anyone feels froggy about jacking my RC's. Total Bliss!
      😂👍
      Therefore... I spend a lot of time out here,😄 and around the bumble as well, Which was the moral of that long winded story.😂
      The bumble is an oddity to be sure,🤔 But once again, I kinda enjoy it's company.😂

      @@R.C.A.D. 😂 well as long as he's nice, I guess bumble is all in all good company. My theory is he's trying to take your spotlight by freaking people out therefore causing you to have to acknowledge it and start making videos about it alone and giving it more attention 😂 🤔 which almost was the case seeing as you've already thought about filming him and I wanted you to do it.. the weirdness continues lol 🧐

      As far as the Ascender; I'm surprised they still one available "we currently own five Ascenders" but only one came from Nankin and it was my brother's K5 Blazer Ascender "which was ordered online a few years ago" Which one did you end up getting ? 😕
      And it's very cool that you got one, Ascenders are one of my favorites.
      As far as Nankin Hobbies;
      I'm not being sponsored by anyone, but those guys are generally a great hobby store to work with when it comes to all your basic RC needs, after that you'll need to step it up to some online hobby stores in order to get the majority of your RC parts and accessories.😊
      Nankin is great... But I also shop from Amain Hobbies, Horizon Hobbies, Tower Hobbies, and a few other online hobby stores, and that's mainly because I moved 3 hours north and my nearest hobby shop is now 45 minutes away in Traverse City,😒 Shopping online is much easier "and cheaper" than making the drive to the nearest hobby shop.😕

    Yes I did,,,, I've very distracted with that Snowman in the background Was those tires moving by themselves or did you bump the table, Man alive dude,,😵‍💫

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tires; 🤔❓
      I'm pretty sure that must have been me bumping the table.😕 It's very plausible.
      Snowman on the other hand...🤔 He's definitely Alive! 😕 There's not much doubt about that between everyone who lives here, It's been sitting on that shelf in the same spot for the last few years, it's got so much dust on the solar panel that the panel is barely visible,😂 yes sir... There's definitely something to that thing,🤔 I've been studying it for the last few years as well, 📝📊📈📝📉📖 and it's definitely unexplainable, It seems to be a flat fact that it won't move until you interact with it,🤔 the numbers don't lie,📈😕 It won't move for days, weeks,or months, until you either say something directly to it or wave at it from across the room.😕
      Let me rewind to the beginning; I bought the snowman figure from a local dollar general when I first moved up here, Paid $1 dollar 😄 lol go figure.. And then I left it in the package for about 8 months before getting it out during the following Christmas, and it's been out in the barn ever since.😕 The snowman is solar powered, and his Natural mechanical movement is to turn it's head to the Left, then Right, and settle back in the center,🤔 Now here's where it starts to get weird, if you ask it to turn right only it will, not only that, but a couple of times not only did it turn right first, but it also held the head to the right until I said ok... I got the point, and then it settled back to center.😕 God's honest truth Brother! 🙏
      Not only that, but there's also a spine tingling feeling that goes along with his movements,😬🥶 And to make things even weirder, it also seems to respond to thought 💭🤔 wave Hi to it in your head and it responds instantaneously,😕 Yet it won't move for months otherwise.🤔📝📊
      I've been studying this thing for the last few years, and my Conclusions are.. That it's definitely under some other type of "outside control" 🤔😕 There's just no other explanation for it, And I'm not exactly lacking on intelligence my friend, So when I say that I can't find an explanation for it, You can believe that Steven Hawkins wouldn't be able too either.😂 lol just kidding I'm not that smart, but I'm definitely not an idiot either, And I can't come up with a honest explanation for the snowman's activity.😕
      The orbs aren't generally visible to the naked eye, but they show up on my 4k camera like clockwork,🤔
      The snowman interacts with people, and when the Cameras on it interacts with the Orbs as well,🤔 But you also can't "generally" see the Orbs with the naked eye,
      (As I was saying that, a orb just flew between my cellphone and my face)
      I seen that one with my eyes,😂 lol Anyways..
      The moral of the story, is that the snowman interacts with people, and orbs alike.
      But ahh... I'm really reluctant to say this,🤔 But it gets weirder 😕 and it's also kinda a "tie" or "link" with the Orbs,🤔 Yeah... I'm really reluctant to say this, But here we go.. The snowman interacts with thought 😕💭 no Bull crap!
      If you say something to it in your head, it reacts instantly! Instantly man 😕
      And what do the Orbs do when they fly into me...? They cause my brain to skip a beat, Which is kinda a link between the Orbs and the Snowman responding to thought.🤔😕 Like I said, Reluctant to talk about that, But it's a key piece to the entire ball of wax.😕
      Let's think about that for a moment,🤔💭 if the snowman interacts with people interaction and pure thought, and the orbs are able to effect my brain waves, Could the Orbs be influencing my RC and General mechanical rigging genius ? 🤔 Are those all of my ideas, or are they from some type of otherworldly source ❓😕 Most of my Best ideas occur in the middle of the night, and they are all spur of the moment, Meaning that they just pop into my head,🤔❓
      So there it is... Are those my ideas ? Or were they given to me from thee ahh... "little visitors" ❓😕
      And if that happened to be true with me, 🤔 Then perhaps it's also true with all of the other inventor's around the world ? 😕
      It's Deep... 😕
      Then you gotta think about the Orbs themselves, and how they Appear and Disappear into thin air, like they are coming, and going from a different dimension.❓🤔
      "UFO's" do that very same thing, 😕 Which begs the question ❓ Are the two related ? 🤔
      Here is another interesting Fact, I've got a ton of Close up still images of these Orbs, They seem to travel in schools like fish,🤔 one orb could contain 20 different things, And many of them resemble Ancient stone carvings, like "Eye Idol" statues, and Chinese or Japanese ancient Dogu figures, Ancient Sumerian stuff, Aztec stuff, and other things ranging from people to aliens, to nights templar looking dude's, Roman numerals, to things that look like they should be on the periodic table of elements,🤔😕 ?
      Which begs another question ❓ If these are the same things that the Ancient people where interacting with, Does that mean that they've been here the entire time influencing mankind ? 🤔😕
      Yep... It's Deep! 😕
      And I think everything that I'm catching on camera, is just the Tip of the Iceberg.
      The universe is endless....
      That's a tuff thought to "truly" wrap your mind around,😕 Endless man, no brick walls, It just doesn't end, it's constantly expanding into Nothingness! And then start adding the idea of "Multiple Dimensions" into that factor ? 🤔 Endless universe, with multiple, or possibly even endless dimensions,😕 The moral of that story... Is that there's a lot more going on then we can possibly comprehend, and what I'm catching on camera, is just scratching the surface a tiny little bit.
      😂 Lol Don't think about it too hard Brother, There's a very fine line between genius and insanity.😄👍

      I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Dust and or bug's, don't make my brain skip a beat, doesn't matter how dusty it is, or how many bugs are in the air, Dust & Bug's don't make your brain skip. 😕
      Yes sir... These unexplainable things are very real. 🙄

    Been always wondering bout the color effects on some vehicles like your own. Like that rainbow 🌈 effect...you said flat black followed by metal flake and top off with clear, any particular brand of paint for this job ?

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This trucks paint job started with the factory gray plastic, and then I sprayed on several cotes of Dupli-Color "Clear Effect's" spray paint,(which is pretty much nothing but metal flake) And then I topped it off with several coats of Dupli-Color "Clear Cote" And the only thing that I painted black was the underside of the body.😊👍
      But if you want the paint to have a Red/Blue/Greenish flip flop, Then it calls for a different method, Which is starting out with Flat Black, then spraying on the Clear Effect's after the flat black, Followed by a few cotes of Clear Cote.
      And if you were to paint a clear lexon body with it, you would do it in reverse order,
      Starting off with the Clear Effect's, And then spraying it with Flat Black next, and skipping the Clear Cote all together.
      Note; The Dupli-Color Clear Effect's spray paint works with most Flat paint colors, Flat Black/Flat Blue/Flat Red & Flat Green would show up the best, But the Trail Finder 2's flat Gray body color also works well.😁👍
      The reason I painted in such a manner, was to hide future scratches, and it does that very well, Since it's basically just metal flake sprayed over the stock plastic color, if the body gets scratched you'll hardly notice it.😂👍
      But if you were to paint it black first, and then apply the Clear Effect's like the Can suggests, Every time you scratched the body you would end up seeing the stock gray plastic beneath the scratch,🤔 But if you just use the Clear Effect's by itself, along with several cotes of Clear Cote, there's basically nothing to see if you scratch the body.😂👍
      As for the Dupli-Color Clear Effect's spray paint; I used to get that stuff from the local Auto parts store, but as of late I haven't seen to much of it available,🤔 Not quite sure if they still make it or not,😕 The last time I looked they had it labeled a little bit different,🤔 and it wasn't exactly the same color,😕 Technically speaking it's supposed to be a Chameleon flip flop paint Color, But the last few cans that I seen were different,🤔 "not in a bad way" just a different color flip flop, like just plain Red, Green, and Blue, and not the traditional Chameleon flip flop color.😕
      So far I've painted four different bodies with that same Chameleon flip flop color, The first was a old Traxxas Revo 2.5R Body which is the standard Chameleon flip flop color using the metal flake and then Flat Black on top of that, Then the Trail Finder 2 was next using just the flip flop metal flake and Clear Cote, Then I painted a Vaterra Twin Hammer's lexan body with it, Starting out with the flip flop metal flake and then using a Flat Blue on top of that, followed by Gloss White on top of the Flat Blue, And the last vehicle was my neices Redcat Gen 8 Jeep Comanche "lexan body" and I started with the flip flop Metal flake, and then sprayed on Desert Tan on top of that, Followed by Flat Black on top of that,🤔
      All of which turned out Great 😁👍
      Another important note; Whenever it comes to spray paint, always stick with the same brand when painting a body, it doesn't matter how many different colors you use, as long as there all the same brand everything should jive right, But if you decide to use a couple of different brands, then you will be running the risk of the paints not playing well together, and that can be very bad, were talking about a destroyed paint job and possibly the body too.😭
      Why Dupli-Color you say!
      Well over the years I've had pretty good luck with Dupli-Color spray paint on the RC body's, it sprays on nice and it's somewhat flexible, as long as you don't spray it on too heavy,😁👍
      I've been using Dupli-Color spray paint on my RC's since I was about 13 years old, and I'm currently 48 years old 😂 lol that's a long time... And I would have to say that I actually like Dupli-Color better than any other brand that's available "including Tamiya Spray paint".🤔😊👍
      Thanks for checking out the video Sammy 😁🙏 And I wish you all the Best my Brother. 😁🤜🤛

    Hi Jim, I have been studying this video and I missed the part on the shocks using 100mm in the front and 110mm in the rear, I think that's what you meant

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally speaking.. I would rather have the same length shocks all the way around, vs having longer shocks on the back.🤔
      That being said... I had 100mm shocks front, and rear, at one point in time, But I currently have 96mm shocks all the way around, But yes... "Ultimately speaking" a person could get away with 100mm on the Front, and 110mm on the Rear, if you do it all correctly.😊👍

      @R.C. After Dark yup your about that if done correctly, I have 100mm all around the tf2 still doing adjustments from the last time we talked, right now the rear is slightly lower than the front a full set of lift blocks on each leaf spring, sits pretty high and trying to even the height truck, that's why I was asking about your shock combo.

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no worries bro....😊👍
      It's all a bunch of trial and error really...😄 Lol but once you mess around with it enough, it will all work itself out alright.
      The truck is going to sit up pretty high at first, and then it's just a matter of sagging out the suspension to balance it all back out again.😊👍

    Why did you not use the degree shims on the front? I just put on the second largest on the front and the largest on the back. I have yet to test it though.

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did use a degree shim on the front,it was one of the smaller ones, but I definitely had to use one to get the driveshaft angle back to a "somewhat" normal angle. 😂 not sure if I mentioned that or not 😕
      Two big lift blocks and a degree shim on each side of the front axle, And One big lift block along with a degree shim on each side of the rear axle.😁👍
      Note; I'm also running Glenda 2 shock hoops on the front to accommodate longer shocks.😊👍
      100mm shock's work pretty well with that setup, And I'm not sure how much longer you can go with on the front, "Might be able to clear 110's on the front"🤔
      As for the back Shocks; 100mm work okay with that setup, But I think that 110's would be a little bit better, "Might be able to clear 120's" But that might be pushing it 😕 100 mm on the front end & 110 mm on the back, would probably be a good combination.😁
      Z-Boxes; Not sure about the TF2 with the longer wheelbase, But the Z-Boxes definitely won't work on the front of a standard TF2 using the 2 speed transmission, Not sure about the single speed transmission,🤔 it might work with that setup 😕 The two speed transmissions "transmission mounts" are in the way on my truck, and the Z-Boxes can't be attached properly because of it.😭 Which is probably a good thing 🤔😕 having that extra bit of Twist would definitely take the life out of a steering servo,😂 lol that's a lot of extra movement to account for..
      I'm running a Protek 370tbl black label steering servo and my truck needs every bit of it's 600 ounce inches of torque, to keep it pointed in the right direction, That servo has enough power to compensate for all of the front end slop, and still have enough left over to move the back of the truck around if something is snagging on the front end,I love Overkill.😄👍 Lol

    Just seen your video .I’m in the uk and have just got my first Tf2 kit .the thing about the orbs …did you have them before you bought the snowman figure or did they come after .as they could be joined onto that figure and came into your home with it .just a thought

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Right on and Congrats with the TF2 😊👍
      As for the Orbs; I didn't really notice them on film until January of 2019 or 2020 🤔 But once I noticed them, I went back and started looking at my older videos, and seen that they are visible on just about every video I have, starting from the beginning, and leading up to today.😕
      So to answer your question... they were here before the Snowman figure, And someone or "something" out of that group of orbs decided that they liked the snowman figure, and figured that they would stick around for awhile.🤔😕 Or at least that's what I was thinking.
      I think that something has been following me around since I was a wee kid, and I'm just now able to capture it on film with "today's HD style video cameras" or at least made them more visible to the naked eye.😕
      Now having said that, I've never seen any with my own eyes before this, but I have had all kinds of haunted house experiences throughout my life, and I think that something has been following me from my Grandmother's house in Canada, since I was around 4 years old or so,🤔 I used to get a crazy bad headache that would make me sick to my stomach, everytime we went to visit her, and I mean every time, it was like clockwork, as soon as I got about 25ft from the front door, the headache would hit me like a ton of bricks, and then I would almost start throwing up immediately after.😕
      Never the less, we only went there a few times when I was a child (maybe 10 times in total before they moved) But when I think back about everything, I think that the orbs "and whatever it is that's following me" probably started way back then.😕
      I've also recently seen some weird looking stuff in the background of old family photos of myself 🤔 "childhood pictures from from the 70's and 80's"
      But what looks like orbs in the background of those old pictures, could just as likely be the old film degrading.😕 So who's to say on that observation 🙄 But my general consensus is that it's something, or a group of something's, that has been slowly building up since I was a kid.😕
      I'm a magnet 🧲 for those things apparently.😕
      Does it bother me ?
      no not really.... 😆 Lol
      Or maybe I just got used to it 🤔😕😄 lol

      @@R.C.A.D. that’s very interesting to read . I used to get a feeling of somebody watching me and being near at my grandmothers house, just upstairs I think it was my grandfather who had passed away a few months earlier in 1976 . Not in the house but in a hospice so I think it was him just keeping an eye on me when I was alone . It’s a funny feeling you can’t explain . Also a few years ago I was in a place called Conwy castle in Wales in the Uk where I’m from . And just as I was climbing the steps to the battlements I noticed a pair of legs in chainmail with the armoured over shoes and shin plates I said to my wife can you see those legs and by time she looked they were gone . The castles were built by Edward longshanks king of England when he invaded Wales in 1400 he built a ring of Castles all around wales to keep the Welsh Down . Then the Rebellion of 1400 to 1415 saw some captured by rebels lead by Owain Glyndwr the prince of wales . So there’s a lot of history and death here in Wales so I think the legs were from that part in time I saw .

      Sorry for the delayed response Craig, it's been a busy couple of days.
      As far as your story goes;
      I hear you, and believe you 100%
      As for old King Edward;
      I heard of him being referred to as Long shank's in a movie, but I had no idea that's what he was actually referred by.😕
      And that also brings up another question about what could be hanging around over here.🤔
      My last name is "Campbell"
      And I am directly related to the same Campbell's of Breadalbane,😕 and "my Father, my older Brother, and myself" are the last three males on our side of the family tree.😕
      Now if you think about all the past history between the Campbell's and the MacDonald's, not alone all the dirty work that they did for the King of England,🙄 makes me wonder if there could be some kind of connection from that past history in the family.🤔 ?
      "Which is just a thought that I've had for awhile, and you reminded me of it when you were talking about old Long Shanks.😊

      @@R.C.A.D. yep old long shanks was a right old tyrant against the Scot’s and the Welsh he didnt treat The English great either . Taxed the English to death in some cases to pay for his Scottish and Welsh invasions and his ring of Castles around Wales to quell the Welsh uprising . Thing is he caused many centuries of animosity between the Scot’s and English and Welsh and English . But we all know he was the cause of it all these centuries later . same as the British in Ireland which was all started by William of orange . the animosity between the British and Irish is now hopefully sorting itself out because without those in power causing the problems ,we as everyday people can get along with each other without animosity non of us want to be at each others throats . Same with king George in America throwing his weight around without that nonsense folk would of got along just fine … 🇬🇧🇺🇸

    I am not that experienced with RCs so i have a tf2 and my rear shaft pops out when it flex to much… Do i need to buy longer ones? Which ones do you recommend the size?

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep... you definitely need a longer rear drive shaft.🤔
      As far as the drive shaft length; that depends on how much travel you have, and varies from vehicle to vehicle, "pending on the length of the shocks and overall suspension setup.
      But here's what you need to do in order to figure it out.
      #1 Since most of this stuff is done in millimeters, you're going to need a measuring device that can measure millimeters.
      #2 Flip your truck upside down safely "such as in your lap"
      #3 Remove the rear drive shaft
      #4 Fully compress the rear suspension until you're axle bottoms out completely
      #5 While the suspension is completely bottomed out, measure between the Rear axle pinion shaft "just behind the drive shaft mounting hole" and the Transfer case output shaft, "just behind the drive shaft mounting hole" And then right that measurement down on a piece of paper.
      #6 Next measurement to take is with the Rear suspension fully extended,
      So Fully extend the rear axle to its maximum stretch, and then measure across those same two points once again, and write it down.
      #7 go online to your favorite RC shop, and try to find a drive shaft "that's within the required perimeters.😁👍
      I recommend Amain Hobbies online, and then I would type in "Crawler Driveshaft" in the search area.😊👍
      FYI; I'm not sure what you're current drive shaft length is, but it sounds like you need something that's about 5-10 millimeters longer than what you have,😕 But don't take that for a fact! Make sure that you measure everything out "as I suggested" in order to get your correct length.😊👍
      Hopefully that's helpful for you, and I wish you all the best my friend.😊🤜🤛

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      TF3; This is going to be tuff to explain but bear with me. I think because of the Vehicles looks on the surface,(which looks like a normal TF2 except in White) Might be the reason that it "accidentally" got slipped into a underrated position. And that would be do to poor advertising on the manufacturers behalf, Concerning the Vehicles Box and Hobby store Websites that are displaying it.🤔😕
      It's the fact that it looks so similar to a TF2 that's making people glance past too quickly, (Their basically thinking no big deal, it's just a newer version of the TF2, except called a Tf3, and that it's white instead of gray)🤔 which makes them go past the vehicle, without actually looking at the vehicles new features.😕
      It has some great new features, but there's nothing jumping out on the box, or in it's "general advertising" to show the new updates.
      😕 It almost needs some big red arrows everywhere on the advertising "to point stuff out on the truck" and draw people in to get a closer look at it.🤔😕
      And that's why I think it's been overlooked.😕
      And I agree with you too, "it is sad! ☹️
      It's a great looking setup under the hood on that thing, between the new steel "low center of gravity C channel frame, along with the detailed motor cover, and realistic`ish two speed transmission, and metal yota axles being attached with U-bolts vs straight screws,🤔😕 "it's a pretty good looking truck all in all.
      Yeah... it's a bummer that it's getting overlooked for sure.😕
      As for Rc4wd; I couldn't comment one way or another on their state, But whoever's in charge of the TF3's advertising needs to get smacked upside the head.😄 Lol
