I would love to see a more "Air Force" oriented takeoff and combat panel as well, or at least the ability to change the hook and landing gear positions.

Hey man, i noticed when you cycled the gear, the handle doesn't light up red. And the button assignments you were talking about for the jett switches - i didn't have to do any of that.
I just installed the simapp Pro software and selected f18 at the device map for the pto2 and set the dcs scripts folder in the simapp settings menu.
Then when i started dcs and jumped in the hornet the PTO 2 panel worked perfecrly without needing to do any assigning of controls in dcs. And the gear and hood transit lights worked, the flap position lights, etc

I never even bothered to look at that until yesterday, my buddy was over and asked me the same thing. I opened Simapp pro and selected DCS and it all came to life. For some reason I thought it would be harder than that. Really should have looked into that months ago, but thank you for looking out.
