4 Things You Need to Know Before Traveling to the Algarve and Lagos With Your Dog!

I'm a first time dog owner who traveled for the first time with my cavapoo puppy named Sophie from Canada to Portugal and I want to share with you FOUR things you should absolutely know and be prepared for when traveling to the Algarve region of Portugal. We stayed in and visited multiple different cities from Monte Gordo to Lagos to Sagres and many others and this is what I've learned from the experience.

Great video! Plus, I think most of those suggestions would be helpful to anyone taking their dog to a public beach most places.
I think Sophie was giving us the stink eye 😕when you had the blower aimed at her at 4:21. And even then she was still really cute! 💕

You should avoid washing your dog too often because it may dry out her skin.

I totally agree, but Sophie can get very itchy and irritated skin after the beach so I find that she needs to proper wash to soothe her skin after a beach visit.
