The link to the carrier actually shows two size options, a small and a large. Which one did you get for Sophie? (The Small is 17.5"L x 7.5"W x 12..5"H, the Large is 19.6"L x 10.0"W x 13.5"H.) Oh, and how tall is she?

I am traveling on Airbus 319 and my dog is about your pup size. They wont allow her on cargo because its winter time and also is too small. The dimensions allowed are:
Height: 20 cm (7.75 in)
Width: 40 cm (15.75 in)
Length: 43 cm (17 in)
Not sure what to do 😢.

Hello, great to see you back! I did watch and liked the Shorts. The format for me is a bit annoying as I really don't like how they auto replay. I also can't see the whole screen on my desktop. It must be because I have the text larger on YT. If I try to see the whole screen it goes to another Short, lol. I also don't have a Reply button. I know it must be popular because of TikTok, etc. I really don't enjoy watching content on my phone.
Now that you are back in Canada, I imagine Sophie has to stay in her crate less if you're back in your former home. I just was wondering how her Separation Anxiety was coming along. I recently adopted Minnie, a 3 year old Chihuahua mix. Her reaction to being in her crate while I'm at work is about identical to Sophie's. I haven't recorded her, but I do come home at about the 4 hour mark for lunch and she isn't crying then or when I get home for good. I do leave the crate open and try to encourage her to nap in there at other times with treats, but she's not a huge fan. My dogs have always slept with me, and with being gone to work for an eight hour shift, I will continue that with her.
Had you found any toys that work really well in the crate? She hasn't gotten attached to any stuffed toys yet, so I think food related is the way to go. I hope to eventually have her out as she gets used to the routine more and I'm not worried about accidents. She's not having them when I'm here so that is a good sign. My avatar Yorkie (he passed in May at 16) was exceptionally well trained and never had accidents unless he was sick, so I was spoiled with him. I also think Yorkies are, or at least he was, more independent. Minnie's personality is a lot more like Sophie's. She is a big cuddler, haha.
