I never expected an exciting trip to the beach to have such a long lasting impact on us. Fortunately Sophie is now 100% recovered but it could have been so much worse and I want to show you guys what happened and how you can prevent the same thing from happening to your dog.

It was so sad yo see our beautiful ❤️ Sophie not feeling well 😒😥. I am so happy she bounced back so quickly!! Poor Sophie. Glad she is okay now. Another thing to be careful of at the beach is getting water in her ears. I don’t take my cavoodle to the beach but just playing with the hose while I water the garden she keeps getting fungal infections in her ears. Because they are long and floppy if they get wet and it’s hot it can be a problem. It’s hard to keep them away from the water when they love it so much.

Avoiding water in the ears is so important, fortunately Sophie hasn't gotten an ear infection but a lot of floppy eared puppy owners have that problem. I have to take extra time with her ears when she takes a bath and she hates it lol!

But praise the good Lord that she is okay and strong and getting back to her normal Sophie self 😊yay ! I know what it's like when your dog is sick and when your dog is sick that is your baby you hurt when they hurt or when they are feeling uncomfortable I have a shitzu his name is Jesse and he is my baby we pretty much do everything together walk play you name he is my furry baby for legged toddler or so glad Sophie's doing better!
