After using Coral Anemony you are locked into water, which means you can use Zealantis to clear your opponents board, as you cannot summon back non-waters after banishing them.
Personally I feel like nekromirror is an absolute must for this deck going second, tributing boss monsters is one of the best ways to remove cards and the only way to really otk with this deck is through an empty board due to the ritual attack lock, as you can attack with 2 neremanas and overlay for gustav max for exactly 8000. It's might look weak into tear cause all their bosses float, but 90% of the time going second it's still a cheaper photomirror that can recycle itself and another gishki card
That's actually kind of sweet we've not seen gishki in a while. I hope they do get some value out of this the end board to me really doesn't seem too remarkable but I'm always a fan of ritual plays.
I run a really fun version with Abyss Shark, Dream Shark, the Salmons and Minairuka. It’s not Sprights, but it’s being quite okay. I had End Boards like Number 4, N.As.H. Knight and 2 Neremanas or Bahamut with Toad, 2 Neremanas, 1 Elf and Impermanence and Aquamirror Ilusion. Sadly it isn’t as stable and will never outpower Maindeck Sprights, but at least it’s something new haha
In the combo, if you time it right, you can use the illusion, summon out nereimanas then use it to revive toad for an extra omni. Also, with the double nereimanas play, you should shuffle back aquamirror before searching then sacrifice the ritual on board to make another nereimanas. Then use its revival eff on the one in grave. That way, you dont pay 5k and you do still get double nereimanas.
With the exception of specific locks honestly can't say the end board is all that more daunting than it was before. The ability to replace the Gishki is nice of course but as with before DRNM is such a huge hit against half that end board (though a lot of players don't use the Stickers to keep the Elf and the IP live which is important) . I can see a lot of people mentioning Iblee and in regards to her... she dies to the Bystial Engine if you don't get the negate up early but then again... you'd probably have your negate up before that happens so it might be the better pick. Solely in terms of how many slots iblee takes up.
An idea brought up on a stream I saw is that you can run a one of Gustaph Max (with or without Leibe) for an easy 2k burn for time, plus those instances where if your opponent has a clear board and you can slam down both of your Lv 10 Rituals and swing in for 6k+ damage then MP2 Gustaph Max for lethal.
Tom, when you said this deck was nuts, I was skeptical. Now, I'm beyond convinced. This deck does some gross stuff. Time for me to get familiar with gishki I guess.
so uh Focused Aquamirror is not once per turn. You can activate it multiple times per turn to search Gishki monsters, it's only the Aquamirror set that's a hard once
An idea which would make your amazing videos even better: Say where you think the opponent should disrupt the combo / activate to play impern/ash for maximum dmg
I pulled one neremanas from the booster i got. I pulled one gravekeepers inscription, which is going to be an insane counter to shifter, but thats about it. Only thing I am waiting on is the rest of the gishki cards.
U are correct. It isn't. I could've fetched another grimness, only the setting effect is OPT. For the combo purpose, I think it had no additional value.
Hopefully once people try the deck more extensively they'll realize that nekromirror is way more worth your lp than photomirror. There's a reason nobody plays photomirror and everyone plays nekromirror in ocg.
My local judge dude says there are weird rulings with Mind Crush, basically you declare a card and your opponent can just say "lol don't have it" and Crush resolves without effect. How does that work? Will the card only resolve correctly if the opponent's hand becomes open knowledge to both players?
Translation: its got potential just because it has sprights. But it is one of the lesser spright decks. Runnick spright still better. Pure hand traps spright still better
It would seem people are bracing for the impact and dislike of a Kashtira meta. Im seeing allot of these 'interesting' hybrid decks and deck lists videos from the yugitubers.
Never really thought I'd see Gishiki as a valid competitive strategy that isn't an FTK or a hand rip loop or that doesn't die to 1 or 2 interruptions. I love seeing surprising stuff like this, it's one of the greatest things about Yu-Gi-Oh.
@@tsvetomirsheev3882 I realized that at the very end when he presented us with water spirit and sniping 2 cards out of your opponents hand twice lol. It's definitely a gishiki deck.
the problem with this deck is, that the nimble engine is just to much NS in this deck. You brick too much and going second its way worse than the normal spright version, where you can play 18 going 2nd cards. Plus OTKs become more rare since grim locks your attacks. I tried this deck alot and it just isnt it, as long as Toad is still legal in the TCG
Actually going 2nd... I don't know why it would brick... The nimble engine offers quite a large siding space... 5 space for breakers and hand traps, and remove the trap for 6 and the 7th space too 1 swap frog. 8th if u clear the aquamirror ritual and only keep photomirrior.
@@MSTTV i see your point. But I meant game 1 going second this deck has less chances than the other version. Maybe its just me, but to me its too inconsistent in comparison. Maybe a banlist will change that. Nice Video nonetheless. Love your Content. Keep up
Might need some clarity on ritual monsters and ritual summoning. If a ritual monster gets bounced back to hand, do you have to perform another ritual summon? If so, then is aquamirror illusion useless?🤔
Illusion lets you summon the Ritual from your hand. It doesn’t matter if it was correctly Ritual Summoned the first time. It works exactly like Ritual Foregone
You can’t grab Nereimanus. Abyss, I believe it only lets you add a Gishki with a defense stat of a stack or less. You’d have to grab another Grim for the following turn or use the aquamirrior focalization to grab that Nereimanus
That's up to you, I do expect some level of hand trap to disrupt and the shortest way to extend is sprind to convert back to a regular full Spright board.
Combo Oopsie: Abyss add 2nd vision to add Neremanas to fix combo.

Can you do an update for this deck without it having elf

I'll consider that as the alternative to Zeus.
Tom Box: "You want to start and end on a Spright Elf"
Konami Ban List Team: "Best I can do is no Spright Elf"

@@MSTTV Just curious, what makes photomirror preferable to nekromirror? Doesnt nekromirror do more?
Just asked on Twitter yesterday if anyone had decklists/combos for this, so this was Perfect timing!
Wait what?!?! I haven't seen gishki used in a long time! I am super excited 😁 Watching as I type this!

11:29 you can’t add the ritual monster since it has more than 1000 DEF, but if you put zielgigas in your deck you can add him since he has 0 DEF.
Oops should've been vision. To grab. It.
Loved the profile, will be waiting for the combo video bro! Subbed

Will you update this with Spright elf being banned
Abyss searches a gishki monster with 1k def or less

The starting combo has so many different end boards its really cool. I can play against nib, and Drmn. Ninja mosquito I think should still be played.

i would love to see spright/gishki without elf decklist and play style , if you can !
So now that elf is out and also if you don't own prosperity what can you replace them for?
may i suggest ones that summon from grave for example 2 more pure light and 1 more djinn buster
How will it be played without the elf?
What are you gonna swap for elf with the new list?
I think that focused aquamirror is not once per turn

how much does elf ban affect the deck?
And it's dead rest in piece I was super excited for this ;-;

fenrirs in the side still?

Focused Aquamirror search is not a OPT so it does not get stuck, just a ROTA for gishki :3

I'm 100% on Kashtira train, but don't have the cards and don't wanna feature a proxy build. This channel is going red for a little while.
@@tsvetomirsheev3882 It means burning money, cause of how absurdly expensive Kashtira is going to be.
Yes please a more dedicated combo video, also I see that this deck wants to go first. How do you play game 1 if you go second?
damn rip elf would u still run the nimble pack now that elf is gone?
Curious if you ever thought about implementing Iblee in GishSpright
How does this list go second? More specifically how does this go second against Kashtira and Tearlaments?

If toadally doesnt get hit, im going with spright kashtira iblee build. I feel like it will be the dominate build
Definitely the more popular build but Iblee is one of those cards that completely die to Bystial and they're still going to be pretty popular.
bruv love the videos but you gotta start reading some of these cards. abyss can’t add the ritual, also the gishki spell to add isn’t once per turn
Abyss adds 100 def or less... I thought I said that in the combo.
Thru vision and shadow u add the rituals
Combo oopsie, it should've been vision #2 to add neremanas
Not once per turn stratos? Stratos isnt once per turn either LOL
Just to update, elf is banned now.
