Let's normalize not worrying about rarities in deck profiles. A common will do its job just as well as a starlight, and what's important in a deck profile is an easy to understand rundown of what cards are being played.
This archetype has only had 1 printing on all it's cards. It doesn't have different rarities yet. lol
Right! I don't mind ashing your expensive card was a common ash blossom. If I go for after any rarity of a card, it'd be an ultra. But I'll always choose cheaper rarity
I only have these rarities for these cards. I would like them to match.
I only care about the imperm rarity for setting 4 speed and not worrying about accidentally setting the wrong trap card.

Thats not true. Ultimate first ed allure lets you draw 3. a proven fact just as putting flame stripes in a car makes it go faster. Cheers.
You know, when the deck first showed itself in the set, I was highly interested. Cool styles, attributes and types I enjoy but I'm a little burned out on the hype train for this deck since EMERGENCY was revealed.
For those of you into this deck I hope you see success with what you enjoy.

I really appreciate the “Hand Reading” section, even while I was picking up on the combos in testing it really simplified it in a way that made it much easier to process. Great Idea and would love to see more deck breakdowns using it!

Great profile Tom! I've been testing this week for my Premier Case Tournament. I've been loving the deck. Im not playing the trap searcher, 2 preventer, and 3 prosperity. Im also playing Small World. It just bridges into everything its fantastic. I may end up looking into King Regulus plays as well, although its pretty hard to set up some rank 4 plays i feel. Might also experiment with parallel exceed
Fr small world goes crazy in this deck since you can use effect veiler and ash to bridge to almost anything
My locals was slipping I got hydrants from them for 10 each when it was 25 and each
It's funny to see how this went from "one of the worst decks" (based on community comments), to "an incredibly powerful deck".
People dismissed this deck so fast that Hydrants were as low as $8 or so, while Turbelence was as low as $3.
Yup and I disregarded the opinions of players at my locals and in my friend group and bought it when it was fresh out of Amazing Defenders.
Hydrant I believe was at $5 at one point and turbulence around $1.25. I also picked the entire core up at release. It was simple since everyone was on that purrely or Mikanko hype in which I am a deck core collector so I now have a mikanko deck has well. And part of the purrely core. But R-Ace called my attention more at release and it will be my deck going forward.
I got my play sets of hydrant and turbulence for $8 and $2 respectively
I bought the Hydrants when they were cheap not because I predicted that Rescue-Ace would become a Meta Deck, but just because I like how cool the Archetype looks.
That LCJW HFD looks fresh, dunno why but LC secrets just look fire

I have, at this point all I really want... Is a negate on board likely in the form of regulus.
Ive been experimenting with a small shs engine to add some more consistency (gear giant rank 4) and power (acess to barrone and scales potentially). I've been really enjoying that version so far
Being able to go shs is awesome, of course even for 1 turn it's just so much plus
@MSTTV yeah it can do stuff late game as well since you shuffle back or banish the spells and traps
I had mines with a Mikanko engine just because water abaresque is such a board breaker.👌

interesting 14 card extra deck. simple and straight to the point.
i may be gravely mistaken but are 3 hydrants really mandatory? They are hardly a starter on their own and you almost always will have access to them with the likes of Emergency or Rescue if its already in rotation. I've been trying 2 of them just to always have one accessible and use the deck slot for a Regulus.

Interesting how two cards can take a deck from rouge to “there’s a good chance it can be one of the top decks.”
Impulse on field effect is actually important. It’s the out to Noir, etc. as the effect effects the player and not the monster.

Exactly what I was thinking. Especially going second. Bait out negates with your searching effects, Rank 4 into Springans into Sargas, search Regulus, swing into a beefy 4 material Zeus, detach sargas and a rescue ace to wipe the field. Regulus summon targeting Sargas. Have an Omni negate and Zeus wipe ready to go in addition to your other R-Ace options
If run Regulus , You have to run 1 sargas and it's xyz lv 4

No because it specifically says you need to tribute a rescue ace monster.

I hope this deck release early in MD. I have complete set trap deck labrynth, dinomorphia, paleozoic for playing gimmicks deck in MD. Rescue ACE might not be as powerful as labrynth, or have powerful counter trap card like dinomorphia have, plus rexterm which is anouying floodgate to deal. Rescue-Ace have a way annoying play like hell if pilot correctly.
I actually don't like Imperm in this deck because you can't use it if you draw it off Fire Attacker and you sometimes genuinely don't have an open S/T zone to set it to after Turbulence goes brrrr.
Facts i run effect veiler instead and its a nice small world bridge too
i'm so glad that i got this core when it was cheap.....i bought a collector rare turbulence from tcgplayer for 35ish$ and the seller cancelled saying that he doesn't know how that card is in his inventory but he already sold it...ok bruh if you say so................
Got the deck since day 1 and many people just laugh at the deck been the worse of the bunch, and still steal wins back then, now with DUNE we'll see who laugh last lol

Heavily disagree with imperm. It conflicts with the cards acting as handtraps and getting bodies on the field. It aslo uses up precious backrow when you need to set 4. I'd also remove the one for one and add small worlds + Regulus.
If you can afford it Kurikara is a good card to main at 1 as well. Going second against some decks is downright awful and she is easy to small world into to potentially clear the field.
Edit: also just noticed the 3 preventer. It is not a good starter. It's best at 1 or 2.
How can you tribute with. I monsters on your hand or field? Isn’t it a cost? This game is confusing as heck.

Extravagance is an alternative to prosperity, since its both a common and since while yes this deck can get value out of the extra, its not massively needed so long as 1 link 1 and 2 survive.

@@mushythezombehkiller If your on the Terahertz package you'll probably have to invest in Prosperity since the 1-card Terahertz combo requires specific 1 ofs in your Extra deck.
@@johnnywilson3071 Yes, if your on a Terahertz package, or any extra package, Prosp is better, if anything, Prosp is almost always better than Extrav. However Aaron was asking if there was a potential replacement, which Extrav just for base R.A. is perfectly serviceable, which is why i gave it as a suggestion.

It was the best deck in the ocg at one point lol and and the very least it’s still tier one, tied for second with labrynth for major tournament tops
The OCG also has some of their higher meta decks ripped to shreds as well. Not to discredit what Rescue-ACE may be capable of but it's definitely not the same meta threats over there.

Decks I believe that can make top 32 of a YCS or top 64 of Wcq are what I consider meta level, it's kinda like when people didn't believe GP would make it but then 2 of them did make it to top 64 this recent NAWcQ. Pure Build and punk build.
This deck has similar tools and in the right control player hands will be reeking havoc in the near future.

Just because new archetypes arrive it doesn't mean it's always meta. People buy the new stuff and by default they get more representation, it doesn't mean their ceiling is very high or the highest. Except for garbage broken tear, that deck should of never existed.
This isn't a new archetype. It was not meta on their debut. Emergency and Preventer adds a significant boost to the point it can combat the current meta. Thanks to emergency, d shifter impacts a lot less. The 1 for 1 trades vs Kash can set up tempo. Vs spright you are a back row deck. Vs runick u can cycle back the banish.... Like it has the right tools
