It probably pilled with the bb cream because it is a jelly primer with the jelly bb cream. They probably repel each other.

Chrissy Moss I was just mentioning for that foundation in particular. I do you have the primer in with a regular liquid foundation like Laura Mercier Or the CYO foundation it does not pill on me. I have noticed if I try to add a jelly blush or mix it with another primer it will kill because I think they stick to each other and pull each other off
Yeah I tried this primer w the L’Oréal fresh wear and it peels as well:/ the primer is a water based and the foundation has either silicone or Dimathacon

Amber Rivillas, I think she had to stop because of all the hate she constantly got. Which sucks because I LOVED Cassie’s Mukbangs (and that’s coming from someone who typically hates them). But obviously her mental health is more important than what we would like to see.

Great review! Just fyi, when determining if a foundation is water-based or silicon-based, both will have water as the first ingredient. You'll need to look at the following ingredients after water (usually the first 3-4) to determine if it's silicon based. Estee Lauder Double Wear Light, for instance, has a first ingredient of water, but the second ingredient is Cyclopentasiloxane, which is a silicon, so it's silicon-based. Again, thanks for the review! Just wanted to shed come light as to why some things might be pilling over that primer while others don't.
It is easier than that...pour foundation on the back of your hand, wash it off with water....does it melt and disolve? It is water based...if it just stays there, not melting or washing away, it is silicon / oil based .

@@wendyraye I totally know what you mean. Tricky, tricky makeup! Just look for words that end in "cone" and "siloxane" and that should cover most silicones :)

The milk hydro grip primer massively broke down my foundation when I tried it. I have oily skin and tried it with the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra. I haven’t been keen to try the primer again. But maybe one of these days I’ll try it with a different foundation I have.

i just bought the primer yesterday!! ive had the porefessional, hourglass, the balm, and now this one!! im trying to find a good primer and have been on the primer journey for like, year :/ do u have any oily skin primer recommendations?
I've used this primer a few times. Wearing it today actually with the Jeffree star concealer and powder. I don't have anything negative yet. It definitely grips! I know that much 😂

Do you think maybe you didnt get enough primer around your mouth area. I feel like I probably dont concentrate on that area or it kinda gets forgotten and I do more on cheeks nose and forehead. I enjoy the milk makeup primer but you def need to wait a minute and it doesnt seem to play well with some of my moisturizers. Maybe better over oils.

The primer works great with the Milk Makeup foundation (naturally). But I did get some pilling when I tried the Ordinary serum foundation. Just a little, and I rinsed away the pills and it was fine the rest of the day. So it seems like it works great with some foundations, but it's not going to work for everyone with every foundation.

This primer makes me very confused! I’ve tried it with three different foundations/bb cream that all claim to be water based. The wet n wild photo focus blends like a dream on it! The MUF water blend foundation bunches up terribly on top of it, and my cover girl matte bb cream is so-so on top of it. It’s a very interesting primer

Havent finished watching the video yet but I have a primer for you to try! I have pretty oily-combo skin and recently started using a mini of the Pixi Beauty Rose Flash Balm as a primer and whoa did it make a difference to how my makeup lasts on my oily parts. It pills a little if I over-rub it in but otherwise it's nice and hydrating and calms my oil down, and I haven't had a problem pairing it with silicone based foundations. For $6 give the mini size a try!

I got a trial size of this primer, I have used it 4 times now..... it’s fabulous primer, highly recommended. Some people have mentioned breaking out from it.....that never happened with me. I have combo skin. I used it with L’Oréal’s new infallible foundation, and used it with Nars radiant foundation.... excellent results with both.
Cassie I would recommend trying out the olehenriksen oil control cleanser and moisturizer, they work really well with helping to control oil production.
Sara Scott I’ve used it with the L’Oreal too and actually have found it works best for me without a primer! How weird how that can differ. I love it with my NARS sheer glow though. ❤️😊

I recently purchased it and I don't want any break outs, pilling, etc. I am not typically prone to breakouts, I rarely will get a pimple, blackheads or something. Sorry for complaining about this. This is not against you cassie ❤ But this food box is terrible. Everything is wrapped in plastic. There is no need to wrap up veggies in a box because you can simply just clean it and wash it. Nor is it necessary to sell plastic wrapped food in general stores... you as an influencer could do something about it because there's a lot of people looking up to you and listening to you. Encourage them to eat less meat and buy more veggies (best not wrapped in plastic!). Maybe do a 'come follow me around the supermarket', show us what you would buy and how you prepare a nice day to day basis meal for yourself :) love ya cass xxx let's try and save this world together 👊
@@SassySiren all plastic is recycable, not just the stuff they use in this box. We just need to stop using plastic in general for everything. Even if we do recycle there is still too much plastic produced. We started using big maccaroni straws in bars in berlin. You can snack them and drink your drink. Really fun! There is absolutely no need to use plastic straws anymore. I don't wanna come off as a wanna be mother theresa nagging nancy. I can do also much better. But i try everyday to reduce unecessary waste. Bought myself nice metal and glass bottles and just refill them with tap water or tea. I stopped buying bottled water or soft drinks for a 1 1/2 year now. I only go to shops where i can buy "naked" veggies and fruits. Little things also make a big change ❤

We are offering criticism to the company which wrapped every single item in their box in plastic and then wrapped it in plastic again. That’s what these channels are about.. reviews, criticism or praise to the companies that’s in the video. Usually it’s about makeup, where we say yes that worked for me or no this was a horrible product and why. Though this was not makeup it is still being presented in the video and we all form our own opinions about how we see the products presented to us, sponsored or not.

Just a guess? I think it may not have worked for us oily skinned gals because you paired it with a hydrating foundation and its a hydrating primer? We already have excessive oils and with all that hydration it may have just been an over load? I have a few samples of the primer but have yet to try it out.

The primer does not work with waterproof foundation ! Tried it with the estee lauder , mac and urban decay and it peeled off how ever when i used it with a normal foundation it worked so well

I didn’t like this primer either. I thought it made my skin even Oilier and slicker as in my foundation wouldn’t last as long and slip off. It also broke me out too ): and I’m usually not sensitive to anything and i have pretty normal to oily on my t zone skin /: just a bummer cause the claims sounded amazing
I've never been really interested in face primers, I only own the Nivea men post shave balm bc it's oil and silicone free. This one kind of intrigues me bc it's silicone free but the fact that you say it just sits on your skin and seems to clog your pores is not good for me bc I have combo/oily skin.
I have problems with my smile lines so BADLY that i went and buy the famous milk primer and i was just laying in bed for almost 2 hours and yes i have the strong marked smile lines again😫 so it didn’t work😭
me tooo this is my biggest problem my deep smile lines ( im 34) so I also have been ion the hunt for a foundation primer that helps this. The only one that makes a difference is very siliconey primers. Now I own the milk makeup sunshine tint and let me tell you, it is incredible at blurring smile lines, only when I tried this primer it PILLED like a b*tch it was very lame

FYI: water is the first ingredient in almost every foundation, it doesn’t mean it’s water-based. I believe the foundations you used (except maybe your Estée Lauder) would be considered silicone-based. Not sure if that makes a difference, but it might explain the pilling because the Milk primer is silicone-free.
What moisturizer did you use? Maybe that along with the primer made things pill up?

FF passed the blue background
The foundations were all silicon base, even tho the first ingredient was water. If it has a silicone type ingredient listed near top it’s silicone based. I think (could be wrong) the primer is water base. 🤷🏽♀️ lol. Maybe try it with a water based foundation like the fit me.
I have a sample of this that I have tried once. It made my foundation (bareMinerals complexion rescue - the liquid one) break down super fast, like within 3 hours. Thanks so much for doing the review with multiple foundations, cause now I want to try it again with another foundation.

I have very dry skin and picked up a sample of this to try before buying it at the VIB sale, but today is the first day I’m testing it and it made my base product not want to grab my nose! There were naked spots all over it and I had to use my fingers to try to pat more product on until I felt like I had too much going on. I’m gonna keep trying it... conflicted bc yay I can save money but I also was really hoping for something to make my skin look less dry under makeup without screwing up my application so much.

This was fun, .. gotta drop a moan though: HomeFresh and Fit Food etc. are delivering tons of unnecessary plastic bags with their ready-meals, they are not doing nowt for the planet really. Couldn't believe the amount of trash in your last delivery. You could make a note of your fave recipes and then shop for the stuff without packaging. Better to have the same meal twice and finsish off them spring onions, instead of 6 plastic bags for 1 dinner. x
Good part is they can be recycled. But I totally get what you are saying. There has to be an alternative way to package all of it.
@@kims_quest Funnily enough, the environmental costs of the all the packaging is offset by the delivery savings - instead of thousands of people driving their cars to and from the store, it's a handful of vans delivering food to the houses.

Just thinking do you think the concealer is affecting the foundation seeing you put it straight on top of the primer , have you tried it the foundation first then the concealer after , maybe the thickness of the concealer is making your foundation move ! It’s only a thought ! It can affect the outcome ! Or maybe no concealer at all ! Just add a little more foundation on top of your blemishes , just trying to think why your foundation moved !

Cassie, haven’t a ton of viewers asked for you to change up your blanket background... we get it; the clean youtuber background isn’t ~you~, fine. But the background can still be your style while being enjoyed by your audience... take a look at Pixielocks or Kelly Eden who both have a kawaii aesthetic. Hell, Kelly’s dollhouse is crazy popular too. You can be different and still be put together and enjoyed by your audience. Ultimately you’ll make the final choice as to wether or not you change up your background but this lack of professionalism CANNOT be drawing in new viewers/subs

🌷🌷Well that does it for me. This is the one that I wanted to try for moisturizing and I 🍎want something that sinks into my skin not sits on top of my skin. And go to the 😰dollar store and buy some cheap stuff that sits on top of my skin all day long. Best review in awhile for me. I love it thank you so so much.

I would have to say I have seen just as many people not like this as people that like it.
Okay? Not everyone has to like the same things.
Well every ones skin is different and reacts differently to certain ingredients. I mean not saying they all lie, but im sure a few exaggerate to look good in front of MILK so they keep getting PR.
So if 95% of people like a primer, it's impossible for 5% of people to dislike it...?
