- Juvia's Place makes eyeshadows that the TH-cam beauty community is crazy about (rightfully so), so when they announced that they were making a foundation & concealer people went NUTS... with a super inclusive shade range there should be something for everyone; but does that include oily skin? Let's put it to the test (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

Anyone else keep getting 2 ads in a row on TH-cam now?
Yes, I noticed it too...
lazlolind yeah! I wonder why
It was happening for me for months now and I just noticed that I an back to just one again. Hopefully it will just be a temporary test for y'all!
I think the multiple ads in a row is a great option for youtubers when they have like 2 ads at the beginning and end max. That is if it means more ad revenue for the creator
Yepp same
Cassie, I had severe acne from the age of ten until I was forty (I'm fifty-eight now). I would not go 'out & about' when I thought my face looked horrid, and I never went out without wearing full coverage foundation by Dermablend (it was specifically for scars, etc.). I have to say how brave I think you are to be able to do You Tube videos, without wearing make up initially, in order to test products, or share GRWMs, when your skin is broken out like mine used to be. The confidence, and strength you reveal to your viewers is extraordinary, and you are such a role model for those who may not have the self confidence that you do! I hope you can take a short break from foundation reviews, if you think the various formulations could be irritating your skin. Thanks for this latest review, Cassie, and I hope you are having a lovely week, Sherrey🎀
SHERREY!!!! You just made me cry the happiest of tears... thank you SO MUCH for this comment. I don't know how to truly express how much it means to me, but hearing that I can help someone out there to feel more confident... that's one of the nicest things you could say. Thank you
@@thriftthick You keep doing you, Cassie; you are just a doll! Hugs, Sherrey🍓
I think the biggest issue is that you are using way too much product. The concealer already looked cakey before foundation was even applied. In my opinion, it makes more sense to use foundation first and then add a bit of concealer where needed.
Agree
It’s quite common to concealer before applying foundation so that everything looks blended. Which is why when color correcting, you apply that first and then foundation on top. I can attest to this foundation being cakey and I didn’t use any other color concealing products underneath.
@@KrystalKBeauty I know you can conceal before applying foundation, but she put concealer on most of her face. It wasn't just spot concealing or color correcting. It was so cakey before the foundation was even applied. I don't doubt that the foundation can be cakey on it's own, that is why it makes makes more sense to apply it first. It isn't light weight or light in coverage.
@@KrystalKBeauty sweetie its not cakey u are using too much
@@angiej3127 You're absolutely right ..with that concealer job she did it wouldn't have mattered if she had used spackle as foundation it would have looked terrible ..and neither the concealer nor the foundation were blended well at all ..it looked slapped on with a trowel .
To be fair the model definitely looked tan. I can totally see how you chose that one, I actually would have gone for that one too.
Blending the foundation under your eyebrows and over your eyelids gave you so much brighter of a complexion! I’d love if you tried this more often as this is how I apply my foundation 😊
I'm with you.... that model looked way more tan than that foundation shade.
If I get this, definitely going to need to swatch it in Ulta first.
I always appreciate your foundation reviews because it’s nice to see a regular person with normal skin who has the occasional pimple. I don’t need to see people with perfect skin and no fine lines reviewing product that’s not helpful to me. Always trust your reviews x
I love how you dont only show one day of wear. You really work hard on testing the foundation multiple ways. Thank you!
Sahar Varona yes thank you for that!
Love Cassie of the past and future heheheh
On your foundation reviews on one of the days it'd be nice to see you use a setting power with a powder puff in your oily areas after you put on a primer and then put on the foundation.
Whenever a new foundation comes out that I want to try or I’m curious about one I discovered I always search for it in your videos with my fingers crossed. You’re the type of channel that needs a comeback on TH-cam. Honest, transparent, and hard working.
Your foundation reviews are the only ones that matter on TH-cam. No filters, no fancy lighting. Love them.
Omg! I had lost your channel and you magically appeared on my feed! I absolutely love your makeup reviews because they are the most real, up close, and personal and you show your skin just as it is. I can identify with all the imperfections and I love it!! Thank you for existing ❤️❤️
Gotta say the quality of the video looks amazing. So well focused. Excited to see this video all the way through. Love from Arizona ❤️
I feel 95% of the problem is that you're just using flat out too much product. Both of concealer and foundation. It's absolutely impossible for it not to cake up and slide with the amount of product you're laying down. The concealer should be done in pinpoint places using a very small brush. and I would recommend using maybe about half the amount if not less of foundation. Lisa Eldridge has a great video on pinpoint concealing that I think would be really helpful. The sheer amount of concealer you're laying down is essentially a full face full of product before you even get to the foundation. And I've noticed this not only in this particular case, but with every foundation and concealer that you do. It's just too much product. Not intending to throw shade, but trying to be helpful. You may not realize just how much product is really being used.
Nurse Amy it’s not even that she’s using that much product. Since the shade is way too light, you will obviously see it as very pronounced and it will appear like a lot of product but that isn’t necessarily the case. She’s been doing this for quite a while, I’m sure she knows these things, as does anyone who regularly wears makeup.
I reviewed this foundation and applied it completely different and it was extremely cakey and wore almost the same for me.
She was also trying it out for the first time she wasn't sure how much product would come out at once or how much product it would take to cover it's varies depending on the foundation
Two layers of full coverage foundation over high coverage concealer on extremely dehydrated skin... Cassie I would like to see you tackle some skin care in your videos. Xoxo
I don't know why you think my skin is "extremely dehydrated".... I promise you: it's far from!! I use moisturizer, day and night, as well as facial/beauty oils.
Thrift Thick I get where you’re coming from but in the close ups it definitely looks like you at least have some dry patches. Possibly due to breakouts healing and maybe use of topical acne treatments. Although skin can be “moisturized” and/or oily, you can definitely still have dehydrated skin that lacks in water. Some extra hydration never hurt anyone!
Nonetheless, don’t take it personally if someone thinks your skin looks dry or dehydrated. Maybe a skincare focused video would be a good change :)
K3L LD that’s not true. Ask any dermatologist- “dehydrated” skin and “dry” skin are NOT two different things. Scans will always have what appears to be dry patches surrounding them and no moisturizer will eliminate it until the skin is healed.
@@Peanut_taco_muffin I respectfully disagree as I have oily dehydrated skin. Typically ppl with dry skin don't produce oils as it's a skin type and ppl with oily skin over produce oils but at times can still have water retention issues which causes the dry spots while still over producing oils.
Girl, you okay? Hope everything is well.
Was thinking the same!!! Hope all is well? 🤞🏻💚
She's definitely going through it right now. Stay strong, Cassie!
thank you all so much for the concern... I've definitely been stressed out about multiple things, my skin being one of them, and have clearly regressed into past bad 'habits' of picking; I promise I'm on the mend though and trying hard every day to go back to healthy coping skills and healing my skin
Thrift Thick I remember back when you got your acrylics that your skin improved so much 💅🏼Not sure if you’ve said since then that you won’t get acrylics done anymore, but if you can that could really help again :)
MrsCurioCheerio That’s a brilliant idea!!! 💅🏻
I would love to see how well the foundation covers your spots without the concealer underneath in the future. Thanks!
Same! I find just using foundation covers most of my blemishes and then I only need concealer on the particularly troublesome areas.
Through the days of testing I was like, please do one day of trying it without all the concealer first!! Seeing other comments, I am super wondering if it would perform differently without all of that under it
Wow, that picture really didn't seem to match the shade you got. I agree the model looked tanned.
It would be more helpful having accurate photos when ordering online. I'm reluctant to order online since colours on the screen rarely match real life.
I was on the site looking at the different shades they don't really have enough photos of the makeup in my opinion the photo she showed of all the shades on the different models wouldn't enlarge so I could see a closer look of the shades
I I know their eye shadows are amazing I'm not trying to bash the company in any way
You have some of the best previews of products. I wished all channels would do as you do. Half of the time the camera is so far everything looks flawless or the light is so bright they look flawless. You are the best ... Thank you so much
So many people commenting on your skin makes me want to hug you. I too have been struggling with mine since having my younger daughter almost 2 years ago and I'm SUPER self conscious about it. I am also a picker so I have scars. The thing that's helping me the most is cutting sugar and carbs out of my diet. I didn't want to because I'm a sugar addict but I was at my wit's end even after seeing a dermatologist so it was my very last resort. I'm also using a lot of Asian skin care. I want you to know you have an amazing personality. You are someone I could totally see myself hanging out with. Please don't ever change. Hugs ❤️
Hi Cassie!- I don't usually comment (but always try to remember the thumbs up!) but I would just like to add that I too would love it if you put the foundation on first then spot conceal the areas that still show up. I'm not an MUA or anything but learned in the UK as a teenager (I'm 60 next year but don't tell anyone, it's a secret!) that was the way to do it & then it wouldn't get rubbed off when putting on the foundation & money was tight so we just used less & it looked better. It was easier to touch up during the day as well. We just used to pat a tiny bit of powder to set it all & use a sheet of toilet paper first to dry up the sweat! (Brits sweat not perspire!) & we never expected it to last all day & night & I still don't today even if it says it will as all skin is different & we have very different jobs & live in different climates. Anyway, that's the way we did it then & the boys seemed to like it too! Take care, my love, let the kitties look after you (where were they?) & you could do with some self-love too. xxx
I love these weekly wear vids! Awesome work!! I've heard really great things about Juvia's place eyeshadows and liquid lipsticks!! I have a friend who swears by them!
Can you please try putting foundation on first then concealing what you have too? I feel like you’re skin looks caked and dehydrated because of concealer first.
Love your reviews, just really want to see you do foundation first!
Yes, yes, yes. Foundation to cover the face, then concealer to pinpoint spots.
You can use the shade adjuster from Bodyshop. Those are really handy
Thanks for doing this video! I was so happy when I saw you did a review on these. I had yet to see a review from someone that I truly trusted and found helpful. I do agree with the comments about maybe applying the concealer differently and maybe adding a couple of days to the weekly wear in which you use combinations of setting spray/powder/mattifying primer as I think it would give a wider range of options for those that do consider using those. Oh, and a video on your favorite foundations would be so helpful! I’ve been disappointed with all the foundations I’ve tried so far due to my very oily acne prone skin. I’d be interested in seeing if you’ve found one that gives you great coverage, that doesn’t transfer, that helps control oil, and that doesn’t break you out-or does that one still not exist 🤔. On a side note, I love how witty/silly/easygoing/considerate/relatable you are in your videos. You should be very proud of that 🙂. Take care!
I love this foundation. But it looks terrible on you, I'm so sorry. You are a beautiful I influencer and thank you for your honest review.
She applys far too much and it always looks so heavy. I apply a light layer to each part of my face, nose then cheeks ect and I only ever use concealer on my lids/undereyes after the foundation has dryed. Skin prep is also key to a smooth finish
@@rayraysunshine6072 Probably because people ALWAYS told her that she never applies enough for them to see the coverage.
You're beautiful never forget that. Thank you for the review I'm sorry for your stress and what you are going through. You'll get through it! 💜
Where have you been all my lifeeee!!! I wanna buy the Estée Lauder foundation and I wanna see a close up.
Honestly youtubers be having expensive camera's but would never do a closeup. You're real and I love it ❤️❤️❤️
They need to get their model pics together! Totally off.
From what I’ve seen of other reviews the concealer is much more dewy than the foundation. Maybe try the foundation without the concealer underneath?
Your comment about the bras and pants cracked me up. If I wanted to take my makeup off before my bra that would say a lot about what I thought about that foundation too!
I’m sssooo glad you did this review. I always watch your videos to see if it’s worth buying. And I hope you’re doing ok. Looks like something is stressing you out or bothering you. Hope things get better and thank you!!
Thank you for this review - nice to see it tested honestly on similar skin to my own, tone and skin issues, with a dose of humour.and in such high definition, lighting and up close. A new subscriber here, look forward to watching more of your videos! So funny x love from the UK
Hahaha you cracked me up with the “Cassie of the past and future” stuff in this vid...you’re a dork and I love it! 💕
Your new setup looks so nice!
Sending you love ❤️
I really enjoyed the review! It felt way more natural and I saw lots of ‘Cassie’ in this! 💜
God, this foundation was horrid! What if you put the concealer on top of the foundation? And maybe don't use so much concealer? Your face was pretty much almost entirely covered with concealer. But then you kind of also used a lot of foundation too. Or who knows, maybe it's a real crappy foundation and it would perform just as bad either way.
Adri_Elsker I’m here girl! Thanks for the recommendation!!!
@@KrystalKBeauty Yay! Hope you find it useful.
She's literally trying it out it's gonna take a few tries before she gets used to how a new foundation works with her skin
Yikes.. it looked so bad! Thanks for the review
Yeah, this was hard to watch. To be fair, she really needs to see a dermatologist. No foundation can help with her skin in it's current state.
I’m so glad Cassie reviewed it! I did NOT trust Nikki’s review because of her perfect skin and affiliate with the brand. Turns out I was right haha
@jana el ok but is she picking at blemishes or clear skin? I understand picking at something that is visible, she's gotta be picking at something and then it gets irrated
@@justinejustice_league1857 Sometimes they do pick at "clear skin". It can be a tiny little microscopic bump that is a part of skin texture that isn't visible but can turn into a big scabby sore really fast. Anything. The problem isn't how clear her skin is. The issue is her urges to pick during times of stress or anxiety. She needs a behavioral therapist to work with her on replacing those behavior urges with other less harmful habits. Otherwise she will find other parts of her body to pick at or possibly even turn to hair pulling. These conditions are not easy to treat. I have Trichotillomania which is hair pulling. I pull out the hair on my eyebrows and have struggled with this most of my life. Medication and therapy can help, but it's still a lifelong struggle to control. You do it and don't even realize it. It's something that is almost like breathing, it's automatic and your brain and body do it without thinking. Then when you realize your doing it you can tell yourself to stop, which is a struggle sometimes then too. But erasing that urge that is so deeply ingrained is a hard process.
@jana el If the picking is related to having pimples then a dermatologist and some meds can certainly help eliminate the pimples so there would not be the temptation to pick.
Thank you for this review! I have been dying to know what you think of these products. I was hearing a lot of things about how thick the foundation is, which is not really what I like. You covered all the questions that I had, thank you!
Thank you for this super clear close up of the foundation! I can truly see the performance of it on your skin! This is the most realistic review so far and I am very appreciative of your honest camera and lighting! I was waiting for it to restock but now I don’t have to spend that money. Thank you!
“Past Cass” made me laugh and laugh! I just got the concealer in 22. When I opened it I got a chuckle that it seemed too light. Blended beautifully with a sponge for me and wore dreamily for me today.
Hey Cassie, I have a video idea suggestion.. I see many videos of people reviewing acne fighting makeup, but they never a follow up, it would be cool if you did a video of a full face of acne fighting makeup (primer/foundation/concealer/powder ect.) and continue to use those products for a period of time and then do a follow up so we can see if they work.
A few couple of suggestions are the elf acne fighting foundation/ clarifying pressed powder, (I know you did the elf foundation before but with less blemishes) I had really problematic skin/picked at my skin, and I found that it helped my skin! It has very high coverage, looked good over scabs and prevented future outbreaks, it is also really effective as a spot concealer ☺️
Ps. Next time could you also try spot concealing after foundation? I felt like this time it would’ve looked less Cakey and easier for you to see how much concealer you actually needed if you did the spot concealing after foundation 🙂
Pps I love the structure of the vide, where you try it out in different ways in different days!
I agree. If you spot conceal prior to foundation it can get cakey fast especially if you use a lighter concealer shade which I see she uses often. I find using foundation first and then spot concealing with a shade of my skin tone is the best way to cover blemishes. The sponge or brush just picks up and moves the concealer if used first so defeats the purpose and you waste unnecessary product. But I appreciate her reviews since she doesn't use the overly light lights that many due. As you said, this is just a suggestion. As for acne, I think she should see a dermatologist
I wonder how the foundation would do without the concealer underneath. Probably the same but still curious lol
Actually there was another review I watched of this foundation (it was by seeking Alexandria) and the concealer made the foundation look HORRIBLE! She ended up redoing it without the concealer and you could tell it really made a difference. For some reason the more dewy/hydrating formula of the concealer doesn't seem to work very well with the matte formula of the foundation for some people :/
Hey girl! I watch your videos once in a while, but I wanna tell you that I'm sure that you are a strong woman, and you will get through whatever you're dealing with! I also had a picking problem (rarely pick it now) and have to seek a psychiatrist due to my depression, so I hate seeing other people going through difficult times. Te mando buenas vibras✨✨
This reminds me of how tge Stay Matte Mousse from Rimmel looks on me in terms of it getting greasy, transferring, and clinging to blemishes. But some people love it!
Do you use setting spray? I have noticed setting sprays do help my foundation kinda “meld” together and help it to look more “one with my skin”?
I only use Laura geller’s baked & brighten foundation powder though, I don’t use liquid foundation though. I am sure that makes a huge difference. But yet it may help?
Haha I liked that sassy “excuse you phone!”
"With all these chins"...I felt that in my chins. 😂
😂 😂 😂
Full coverage for sure, so pls apply less cause then it gets cakey fast. Thanks for review
She did used a lot but I’m sure she figured that out, It’s her first time trying it. Some foundation claim to be full coverage and their not
So I just saw that your foundation shade for urban decay is 3.25 mine is 3.0 and for Mac I’m NC 20 for sculpt and waterproof would you say this foundation would be a close match for me or should I go darker?
I got so caught up in the hype of all the reviews, and was so close to buying this foundation, but then I was like 'hmm, better wait for Cassie's take on it' and I'm glad I did because it made me realise, all the reviews I'd watched? On dry skin. DRY SKIN. That's not even my skin type, but I was so close to buying it D: Cassie to the rescue! Thanks for saving my purse :')
It's funny when she said, that the shade range focuses on people with color, and that's totally fine. But when a brand focuses on white or fair skinned peeps. People get so violent. 🤣. I have just been noticed that...
Hey Cassie, you look beautiful as always, hey I have trouble with my makeup separating and sweating off especially my nose and upper lip area and forehead.. especially when outside in the heat.. but last summer, the Becca ever matte poreless primer really helped it stay in place.. it dries super fast, so work it onto your face in small batches, cause it does not spread well, it’s crazy, but I helps hold that foundation on.. also, have you watched Nikkia Joy, i think she just put out a setting powder she formulated for oily skin.. I’d love a non bias review of her lashes too, they are supposed to be very comfortable and easy to wear 🤷♀️
Cassie, you are killing it with your channel recently! Honestly, I stopped watching every video you posted for a bit, but now I am super excited every time I see your video in my sub box. I like that you are doing super relevant reviews (this review and Star Concealer for example) and trying new types of videos.
thank you so much, that makes me so happy to hear!! I've been loving the changes lately too so it delights me to know that it's making other people excited about my channel as well
I think you always use too much product. Try setting your face maybe? Anyway, thanks for the review!
She always sets her makeup.
Setting her face would actually cause more oils, especially w the amount of foundation she had on
It’s actually not that bad... I’ve been watching a lot of Asian make up tutorials and they make themselves more fair and I think it is really pretty. I think people often get foundation that’s too dark for them.
I think it looks good!
Would have been nice to see the products used separately, like just the foundation with a concealer you’ve already used and then the concealer with a foundation you’ve already used. Otherwise there’s no way to tell which product is causing the issues. Especially when you’re using a full face of concealer under the foundation.
I ended up purchasing a shade that I thought would be way too dark and was shocked by how light it was too. When I first finishing applying the foundation, I was scared because it looked suuuper cakey. It just SIT on the skin like it doesn't even want to be part of the face party. I powdered and set it with a matte spray and it looked okay-ish. Then about 6 hours later it was a trainwreck and I couldn't wait to get it off. The foundation might be a good choice as a concealer that will last until 2075 because of how little you need though!
Also, THANK YOU for using natural light and taking actual closeups. So many TH-camrs use the ring light that just wash everything out so you don't get the real effect of the foundation on the skin.
Can we call this the Caspie episode, since it makes you white as a ghost?
PS I know that was terrible joke but I couldn’t help myself.
That was hilarious nonetheless
She consistently buys shades too light for her. Rename the entire channel
You're way braver than I am. I wouldn't even try to go without primer!😂😂😂 I live that BBcream, by the way. I can't usually do full coverage.
Hi what oil blotting sheets do you use? 🤗
I love your jewelry on day one! Thanks for the review 😊
Even when there are two commercials, I still watch them all to support you, boo 😘
Cassie I'd love to see some sort of series like top 10's from you, top 10 foundations, brushes ect or something along them lines. You've tried soooooo many now I'd love to know what your favourite is, mainly because I'm nosey!
Yay! Great investment on your new camera, quality is so much better and background is better too!! ❤️❤️
Thank u for telling me about the shade u picked the one icwanted but it would be way to light for me wow, so thank you im going to order darker shade.❤️🤗
Hey girl hey! I know acrylics were getting a bit expensive but I've found a bunch of videos on youtube here that show how to do gel nails at home and if anyone can do them on themselves it's you! You are so artistic that I think you'd be able to pull it off and it would be so much cheaper. As for Juvia's Place. I was their number one fan from day one. It's interesting they chose Maricao as the representation for Puerto Rico given the African theme but I guess maybe it does go more with the shade range but even in Maricao the shades are not that light--- over thinking perhaps. I would have gone with Loiza. As for the launch, I think the product is exciting but I do think they did a shit show in terms of shade comparisons. People wanted to order right away and they recently launched a comparison chart and listed three different shades for a Fenty 420 comparison for example. Then got snarky when people questioned it saying they can wait to swatch in person at Ulta on June 2nd... well Ulta is not available in all places. Many of their customers are world wide and don't have that same access. So I'm low key feeling some kind of way about the marketing around the launch. I just expected more from them. I'll be waiting because I can't for the life of me tell based on the models which is my color. I think they dropped the ball in the naming of the kingdoms... I have thoughts... Not that it'll matter lol
Cassie !!! hi :3 have you tried gel nail polish on your regular nails? it helped me from picking and since i did it myself it was super cost efficient :3 luff ya
Nikki tutorials was raving about this foundation. I almost...Almost, bought this foundation until i saw this tutorial. And i have oily skin so I figure this will do the same to me. great review!
Nikki has pretty good skin that is pumped full of fillers so she doesn't have any lines or areas for foundation to collect. Foundation that looks good on smooth skin with no lines can look horrid over regular skin with lines and no fillers.
I’d LOVE to see you follow Jaclyn Hill’s ‘How to make your makeup last all day’ video. She has tips for dry and oily skin. I’m very curious to see how it’d work for oily skin.
Really like this new series!!❤️❤️
Cassie in the past to the future was sooooo funny by the way 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would suggest applying the foundation first. And then going in with concealer if it’s needed to provide more coverage. I just think too much of both was used so it looks heavy. But still yet, good review!
I was wondering do you use setting powder? I haven't heard you mention trying setting powder with it.
TheCyndawn she usually doesn’t mention it verbally, but there’s a powder called out in the description box most of the time. I think she just doesn’t talk about it because the focus is on the foundation and she skips over all the rest of her makeup 🙂
Cassie, seriously, I have never seen your skin in such poor shape, my heart stopped. Really, we don't care about blemishes, we care about YOU. Please, give us an update on how you are doing. I have excoriation disorder and I know what it looks like when it gets so bad that we go nuts on the places no one can see, then to the places people CAN see, because the urge is so immense. LOVE you and your channel sweetheart...
I haven’t watched Cassie in a long time now, probably a year or more, I kind of fell out of love with Cassie but wanted to check in and I’m in shock... this is the worst I’ve seen for a long time! The last time I’d seen a video cassies skin had realllllly cleared up!
I wear this shade mixed with clinique foundation which is a bit too dark for me so combo is perfect and it lasts perfectly all day with Rimmel loose powder to set. Best foundation ive ever come across.
Focusing on deeper skin tones🙌 yaaaaaasss living for this brand
All foundations look like this on me but I have dry skin any advice or afordable foundation recommendations? They only one I “like” is make up revolution stick
I am from Puerto Rico!!!! not too shabby your pronounciation!!! this is awesome!!! cant believe this shade has this name!!!!! this makes me so happy!!!!
I loved the past Cassie check in 😁 cute addition!
I've been waiting for this review. It sold out before I could get it
🙋🏻♀️Puertorrican here!!! LOL You DID awesome with Maricao!! I am super impressed 😂 like actually impressed Taino words are always the hardest for English speakers.
Hi Cassie, I love your reviews! I bought the concealer only. I have watched several reviews on these two products and I want to use the concealer as a foundation. I think for me it will work well on it's own. Wish me luck!
How come you never use sunscreen?
Cristina Oprea she probably does !!
How do you know she doesn't put it on before she starts filming??
I've asked that too. In her skin care videos shes never shown it, nor has she in her empties. And she uses acids!
Just an fyi because I wish I had gotten the heads up from someone. I had acne way way worse than yours. I tried all make ups, never wore primers because everything broke me out. I went to tons of dermo. Finally years later I'm on spironolactone and adapiline. Mind you over the counter difrin totally broke me out and never worked and they switched me to trentinoin and that doesnt work as well as adapiline for me. Sorry if I spelled stuff wrong. Anyways now even with the trentinoin (remember I liked adapiline better) my skin is fabulous!!! Hope this helps! And you rock you I have no acne anymore and wished I had the confidence you have.
Your reviews are always very helpful, thank you
I loved this honest review ! The pros and cons! It really made me think twice because my skin is really oily
Cassie! I was going to ask you to review this! Yay! You did without me asking. Thanks gal! How did you date go??? Did I miss you talking about it?
Sarah Bailey They didn’t hit it off. Just not a match...nothing bad happened.
I also picked the wrong shade. I got two, both wrong. I like the foundation though. I’ve been mixing them to make a decent match so I could do wear tests. I’ve had good results for 3 days with 3 different primers (one day I didn’t even get to do my “failsafes” - RCMA no color powder before foundation and again when all my makeup is done).
If suggest skipping the concealer under the foundation or setting it with powder before the foundation. Also using a lot less. With most foundations I use like 4+ pumps 😬, but with this one like a pea size was too much. I mixed up about a pea sized amount and used half on my face and put the rest in a container to use today. I had the best results using a sponge. I prefer using brushes usually but this one looked great with a sponge.
ShadaGreen that’s the best suggestion so far! Applying powder before foundation is such a great trick to keep oiliness at bay.
That foundation makes me weary to buy it even having dry skin . I don't have oily skin but id love to see foundations and concealers that work for you. I am a glasses wearer so id also love to see a video of foundations that work for glasses too .
We love you Cassie! Your beautiful hun!
Your smile is contagious. Love you and your videos so much. Keep on doing you xo
I hope you are ok. I've never seen your skin like that before. I hope something will help you. That foundation and concealer may be good for my dry skin.
lilacshine9 it’s just a breakout and some picking and I’ve seen so much worse. This isn’t even severe acne. She’ll survive lol.
You are so pretty with or without the makeup, lovely face
I was wondering if maybe with your skin going through its issues maybe its not the foundation but maybe your skin just needs nothing on it for now because maybe its reacting to be covered, especially in such full coverage foundation???
I agree with other commentors about applying too much...less is more and applying your concealer as a spot conceal AFTER you apply your foundation.
Also i didnt see you mention if you set your face or under eye with powder...setting spray??
I would try the foundation without the concealer cause unfortunately I've seen other reviews that concealer doesn't work well with the foundation...
I really think you should put foundation on first then concealer. That will decrease the amount of product you put on your face
I started putting concealer under my foundation, and now I'm using less foundation as a result and everything looks fresher. So it's just the amount she is using in general, not the order (+ it's really hard to cover scabs anyway)
I use concealer before foundation and love it.
It’s the opposite....
Love the background!!!
I’ve been breaking out like crazy lately! It’s like come on, when am I going to catch a break! I just turned 33 a week ago and unfortunately still breaking out! Love the video Cassie ❤️
Amanda Ford I’m 27 and still breaking out too! :(
Unrelated to this video but, why are there suddenly two ads, back to back on YT now?
I'm honestly not sure, but I get them when I watch other people's videos too!!
Good for you as the creator though! Haha.
