naw unless i misheard he knows about the back line draws, he's talking about turning individual fights with high attack low HP units from draws into wins which i think is more applicable to the front
@@ladyinwight It’s not, because then your 1/1 bee gets bodied by the next unit and it plays out like normal. Bee turning draws into wins only really works if it’s the last guy

I will never understand why NL is so allergic to sushi and salad. In the team at 9:00 he several times admitted he had no idea what he would replace anything with and spent nearly full turns just rolling past good sushi and salad. Last I checked all his animals benefit from stats, especially if he isn't changing them out
Biggest mistake of the vid tbh
"A monkey buffing the deer? But what do you get rid of?" Rolls past the monkey that could have buffed his elephant, whose stats get passed down to his whole team. Keeps the deer that does nothing with his team's synergies until he dies with it. JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEsus. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to keep watching and liking, but that made me say "WHAT!?" out loud.
I think NL plays too fast for his own good. I have the same issue sometimes

anyone else feel like his decision making was notably worse than usual? like rarely summoning before combining for horse buffs and selling some of his best units, and ignoring a lot of synergies

I don't get why NL keeps selling his best unit. New horse is looking much better with the better stat. Still, horse ability just sucks. Even if it gave permanent buff, I still don't think I will use it that much.
If it was permanent 1/1 on friend bought then it would at least be better than otter lol
I reckon horse could be improved if it gave +1 health instead of +1 damage to summoned friends. A good example of why is his 6/4 horse that he had at round 2, game 2. That horse had received +5/+3, had ~9 gold put into it? Died to a 2/1 and 3/2 unit. If it instead was a 4/6 unit, would have killed both ants, lived, and taken out the 3/3 mosquito behind it. I think that HP is far more valuable in the early game for reasons like this. Not that the 6/4 in question received its buff from a horse, but this example just shows how much more useful health is. Making a zombie cricket 1/2 instead of 2/1 - it would now win instead of draw a 1/1 like a bee or enemy zombie cricket, or horse on the live build. Would still perform the same as a 2/1 against any 1/x unit, but admittedly do worse against 2 damage units that are abundant in the early game. Not that I have anything to back it up, but my proposed horse change would be to keep it as a 1/1 but instead give +1 health.
NL is so turned off from spawning builds he doesn't even know if he's doing good when he's building horses.
He buys a whale to pair with his deer in the mid-game and he's like idk if we are on the right track. NL its time to go back to the roots and learn the spawning meta
Also putting honey on a horse, then putting that horse behind two other horses.
Not using the horses ability at all is quite cracked
An extra 2 damage on your deer and your bus doesn't do all that much even in the mid game. Sure the math worked out for the one round he ran it with that buffed ant but it gets out-scaled easily and still seems pretty bad imo. Honestly I don't run horses cuz I think they suck, but if you run them long enough to get a turkey then sure a summon build could be pretty scary.

Skunk is a late game superstar for sure
Honestly the sniper build in general is really good. NL always ignores dolphin qnd crocodile too, but they can be very strong.
@@rolandogarcia2889 yeah, and those I'm not quite as mad about but skunk is always useful! You come up against a 5050 hippo, well it's now a 50 35 hippo instead, and that's if you don't have level 2 or 3. And if you have tiger behind? One shooting that thing with melon armor. It is an absolute tank destroyer
NL's perpetual disrespect of the skunk has me shouting at the screen at this point.

Just rolled against cool whale build, it goes Tiger middle, Whale, Deer at the front. Whale eats deer, Bus spawns, Bus dies, than Whale dies spwans two Deer, first deer dies spawns a Bus, second Deer dies spawns two Buses because Tiger is behind it. Throw a turkey there and you have a juicy build.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like they missed something with the game this week...I feel like I'm always one turn behind just about every team I face. It's like, am I dumb or just have shit luck with my shops...

I feel like people have gotten so much better at the game that luck plays a much larger factor. Had a great team earlier with like 5 wins but ran into a lvl 3 dodo feeding a lvl 1 rooster on like turn 7 that just destroyed me. It was like a 50/5 rooster. Just insane luck
9:00 NL wonders why his chain build isnt scaling but wastes money on food instead of rolling for matching pets to upgrade his abilities, lvl 2 camel/peacock/elephant would be sick even with the older stats.

Finally got to see the new Squirrel in action but the ability text has slightly changed since the test 4 notes. It was "Start of turn: Roll shop and discount food by 1/2/3 gold.", but now it's "Start of turn: "discount shop food by 1/2/3 gold". There's been some debate as to whether it re-rolls the entire shop to food at start of turn, resulting in a level 3 squirrel getting 6 free food. Unfortunately, it looks like the ability text is accurate and only the first two shop food are discounted. Still, two free food each turn with a level 3 squirrel is pretty great.

Can someone pleeeeeaaaaseeee finally make him understand bees go to the last spot because of overkill. Usually you trade animals 1v1 so it'd take till the last animal to wrap up the fight, at which a bee popping up makes you default win the draw. Bees are for draw>wins, egghead

This is totally the kind of game I would make, with the same problems my game would have.
It has tons of synergies.. but it also has tons of ways to get High stats. And so the meta is just high stats.

Sometimes it looks like he gets it. Some times he keeps his 10/10 garlic horse at the back even though he has no spawning.

NL needs to stop selling when he doesn't immediately have a replacement. So much selling info rolling without anything planned.
I love super auto pets. I really do. but you can tell it's kind of broken when synergizing. builds get crushed mid game - when they should at least have a shot.
Does a 1-up Scorpion respawn with death touch? If so that could be cracked versus melon armor units

Kangaroo is just terrible. Most of the time in this run you're getting +2/+2 on top of garbage stats. I think at best you got +6/+6. It's mediocre to bad in the mid-game and useless late.
Yeah the problem with kangaroo is it only does really well when you would of won anyways. Front unit takes out their whole team? unbeatable kangaroo. Their front unit is stronger? You have a 4/5
Dude Kangaroo is giga trash. Unless you get it real early and scale it it's never in a place where its better than basically anything else. Like the absolute lunacy to sell ox over Kangaroo when Ox at minimum will always get 2 hits in unless you're gonna get trucked. Kangaroo is terribad and needs to be put into Horse Tier, the fucking Shadow realm my dude.

Here is something op that gets me wins ez af: Scaling unit🐒🐰🐧, doesnt matter unit🦄(tiger 🐯 preferably), snake🐍, whale🐳, deer🦌.
The insane amount of procs of snake dmg just decimates entire teams. I hope by sharing this i dont create a stupid new meta
Side note: if you dont have luck getting them, dont force it sometimes you just have bad luck
