I remember very clearly when he mentioned Repentance was gonna be the "final Isaac arc" for this channel and people went crazy. Despite the numbers being meh at best back then as well.
@@cooraa huge fan of Isaac, but it’s gotten so bland for me. NL has been my favorite youtuber since he had around 150k. He got me hooked on SAP, I really love these variety uploads.
@@sagemodead9877 been a viewer for over 10 years. I’m a fan of both but haven’t watched Isaac for a while. Listened to today’s Isaac episode on my commute this morning and realized how I missed the stream of consciousness type of banter, kind of like reconnecting with an old friend.

The first game really show how strong the early dragon is. Not many people do this but running 2 dragons not combined is also a good way to get strong scaling for the whole squad.
If 3 of your slots are dragons and a rotating lvl 1, you're not scaling many units. 1 dragon can be pretty slick though.

@@Draffut2003 Dragons buff themselves and each other. Dragon also has a great starting stat so they are good target for the buff.

Real facts, microbe into level 3 turtle, is an S tier build... and also a trap. Because if the game KNOWs you are going for it, you will never see enough chocolate and turtles to get the level 3 turtle. But if you pivot into it as a hail mary, enjoy your 10wins sir, you earned it by knowing when to foldem.
It is the biggest, underdog comeback. The drama makes me wet, love your content, you/frost are why i started playing auto pets, amazing game. Best free game i ever spent money on. (Free to play better than pay to win, dont @ me.)
I don't know if NL putting hedgehog last is a good idea. He had a 7/8 honey badger beetle, that 100% should have been last imo. Easier to guarantee the win. I think. Pog content anyways.
That last run hurt me to watch... NL totally forgot he could just feed the blowfish and stack it up. Instead he just rolls every shop looking for a mushroom.

NL never taking his own advice by getting rid of a unit when it doesn't benefit him.
Last game, why keep the lady bug? It essentially did nothing for you, you weren't using food in the shop. And leveling those hedgehogs did nothing but kill your entire team while all the other teams actually had scalling and could survive all of your units were weak so after your lady bug (ie the only decent unit you had) died. You had nothing but insignificant damage. Your blow fish was even weak.
I know he isn't gonna read this and I'm basically speaking to the void. But the magnate attraction to always take the hedgehogs is kinda annoying me at this point.

That Big Microbe build was actually just a COVID build.
-It's deadly, can kill on contact (30/30 unit)
-It's infectious (Spreads Weak everywhere)
-It can kill multiple people at once (Chili)
-It can make infected people easier to kill (Weak)
-The winners are the people who can protect themselves from the infection (NL's Turtle dispensing Melon Armor to override the Weak debuff)

It overwrites all the existing equipment, that's the beauty
its the same status as the bat, makes them take 3 more damage. the actual important part is overwriting existing equipment tho

Never can seem to find 1 ups when they're needed the most lol. I got to agree, the paid pets have a really nice early game, though I've been finding more success long term with the free deck.
