I used the double fisherman's bend knot just yesterday to insert a loop of string for a shoelace clip around the end of my gaiters that my wife and daughter made for me. I had to cut and reconnect the opposite end of the clip before letting it slide into the dead-end of the hem. the knot got very tight and almost impossible to get loose on its own accord. Extremely useful. Thanks!
Couple of things brother, the first video on the ratchet driver is out on TH-cam, and have you seen the info on the leatherman Bond and Curl? Reach out and I'll fill u in.
Really appreciate your clear narrative (explanation) for those who are learning.. Nice one👍... Used these knots for years and extremely useful in many situations...
Good morning sir, if you're up for a recommendation, could you do a review of the Toler Union multitool? You're reviews are leaps and bounds above other gear reviews. You are a man who uses his tools and it is obvious. Other don't get into the same level of detail that you do. I'm very interested in the Union and would love your feedback.
i believe you have to pay for it first then wait till next year to get it. some people paid upfront for it over 2 years ago and still havent received it yet. sounds like a scam almost to me. plus it is HUGE makes a surge look like a mini leatherman
I am. Working on a pretty large job right now. We are all doing well. Though we had to endure a couple of days without electricity during that cold snap.
@@txtoolcrib Happy that it's a large job, and glad you're doing well. That storm was the coldest I've ever felt, though not the coldest I've been luckily.
Hey man can you please Review the Paul Chen Hanwei Multitasker? A spanish guy who Also reviews tools told me that that one has the absolute Best scissors on any multitool. So I wanted you opinion. Thanks
Well we went through a couple of days without electricity, but I have generators to keep heaters going. We are working on a pretty big job right now. I’ll be back soon.
@TX Tool Crib Hi you are my go to when it comes to anything knot or multi-tool related. I've had the original Wave forever and it's always suited me good. But within the last year or two I started a management of property's job where I need a good beefy multi-tool and you definitely directed me correctly to The surge. Well I was just wondering is there an email address that I can send a couple questions to you and explain what my problem I'm having with it. Thanks Scott
I’m sorry for the late reply, been pretty busy with work and am just trying to catch up on comments. You can email me txtoolcrib@gmail.com whenever you need.
@@txtoolcrib Seems like you've got some fishing experience as well. I'd love some fishing knots video narrated in your voice! I appreciate your hard work.
I've watched several videos on how to tie this knot and by far yours is the simplest and easiest to understand. Thank you.

Thank you, you’re helping get the hang of knots.

You’re quite welcome. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
You explain these knots very well!
Thank you, I appreciate that.

Hey Ben. You doing ok? You haven’t posted in a few weeks and that’s not like you. Stay safe with the Texas weather we have right now.

Thank's for explaining so even a dummy like myself can understand. And I will use this.
Ah, don’t be too hard on yourself.
Great video.
Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it! Great video.
@TX Tool Crib Are you going to review the Leatherman ratchet extender?
Absolutely, as soon as I can get my hands on one.

Sweet knot.
Well described, thank you.
Cool.
Is it possible to do a double uni knot with a paracord as a more permanent knot?
Absolutely!
@@txtoolcrib I thought it was only for smaller diameter lines. Thanks for the info!
It works better on fishing line, but it can be done on paracord. It is a bit harder to cinch up correctly on paracord though.

From a long time ago. I don’t get to do much hunting or fishing these days.
Did you get my email
