    Thanks Felco, I was given my secateurs when I began my gardening business - I celebrated my tenth year in business this summer and my Felco secateurs are still going strong!

      @@worldoffelco I've got No. 6, it's great that you can take them apart to clean them and can replace parts as they wear out. It's not difficult either, anyone can do it - it's a perfect rainy day job when I can't work!

    On another video heard the presenter say he had a pair of roll handled Felcos ten years, and they would last another ten years. If they will only last him twenty years I certainly would not let him borrow mine. I purchased them over forty years ago and they are still going strong. They have been well used asI worked in wholesale nurseries one of my jobs was collecting cuttings, understock for stenting, scions and each year removing Black Berries.

      Great to read Rick! Can we interest you in some spares for your long-living Felco Secateurs? ;-)

    Can this stone run out? I've been using it for 10 years/ or more on my knives and secateurs- it's still amazing/ going strong- but can the diamond coating wear through? Or is the diamond embedded all the way through the metal?

      Great question and something that we spoke about in here a few days ago. the one on my desk has been used without fail over the last 8 years. I reckon it is still as strong now as it was originally. The chances are that I will lose it before needing another one from wear and tear!

    The Okatsune website suggests sharpening the cutting blade on both sides. On the inside, it is proposed to make a small chamfer at an angle of 15 degrees. On the outside, a larger chamfer is made at an angle of 23 degrees. Can you specify the same for Felco pruners. And also, what is the purpose of the chamfer on the inside?

    Hi! Is there a difference in the roughness of the two flat sides? One side has the "Felco 903" logo and the other is blank. Thank you.

    Hi Felco, can I use the felco 902 the same way?

    When would you use the Felco 902 stone?

    • @worldoffelco
      @worldoffelco  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The 903 Diamond Sharpener is for regular use, the 902 stone is for infrequent use. If you used a diamond sharpener regularly, then your secateurs would probably not get to the stage of needing the 902 stone
