How to clean and service your FELCO 2 pruning shears

What you'll need:
FELCO 905 multifunctional sharpener
A dry rag
Scotch-Brite
FELCO 990 grease
Adjustement key 2/30
Lubricating oil (sewing machine oil)
FELCO 980 protective spray
Instructions:
1- Disassemble your tool
2- Clean all parts with a dry rag
3- Scrub each part carefully with scotch brite
4- Add some FELCO 990 grease on the blade and counter blade
5- Reassemble your tool
6- Adjust your tool
7- Add some lubricating oil on the spring
8- Sharpen your tool:
The FELCO 905 will allow you to maintain the sharpening angle of the blade on both sides.
9-Spray FELCO 980 on to your tool

I have been trying to sharpen my Fiskars and nothing is small enough to get in the narrow part of the blade and I cannot find any instructions on how to disassemble it. You just sold me on Felco 2 pruners! Thank you so much!

Fiskars & Felcos are a mile apart. You're much better off with the #2 Felco. I've had the same pair on my hip for 5 years and it's never let me down. :)

Use a shop towel, then...
Also, the oil helps keep rust off, not just lubricate.
