(Some of the content in this video may be inspired by other amazing quilters' work. And while I would love to be able to identify the author of the original pattern, sometimes that's impossible to do. I hope you understand.)
Guys, we are back with an all time favorite, except this time, I'm adding something that's very much needed. Let me know what you think.
A big thank you to Mike, my rock and know-it-all cameraman who managed to edit this video when I could barely think. You are my hero. I would also like to dedicate this video (and everything I ever do, really) to my Mushi. My partner in life for the last 16 years and my companion for those long editing nights (who occasionally liked to make an appearance on the videos too). If love was enough you'd live forever. Rest now, my love. Thank you.
I am so sorry for your loss 😭😭😭. I was thinking about you and was worried for Mushi. As one who has lost a lot of fur babies in my life I know what you are going through. Take your time before returning we will be waiting for you. ❤ 🫂
@@giovannacasadio9600 thank you. She was my first ever pet. I had other after her and have lost one a couple of years ago but Mushi... She was the first. Such a special bossy lady 🥰
Memory eternal Mushi 💐 🫂💐♥🙏
@@alteredcatscyprus thank you
I'm so sorry for your loss. As a new subscriber I haven't met Mushi. I understand your pain. My dog of 14 years passed almost a year ago and I still grieve. Her dog bed was under my sewing table. She was the sweetest dog!!
Wow wonderful content. Video quality is also good..😂🎉❤
Thanks for this! I've been wanting to play around with 3d blocks!
Great camera work on how to sew the seams.
Thank you. Mike the cameraman will be happy 😊
Looks like you got your machine back.!
I did! It's sewing like a charm now!

Thank you for the video. A question for you please - what size did you make the setting diamonds? Were they 3 or 3.5 inch? And if I may make a suggestion in the assembly/construction phase - to avoid additional Y seams when assembling the columns - stitch the half diamonds to top and bottom of the half cube units to the right and left, see the image at 5:24 in the video which makes those units into a column with a straight seam for easier joining (no Yseam) to the other (inside) columns. May still need to do a Yseam for the setting half diamonds at the top and bottom of the joined columns. Edited for typo:)
Hi. It's 3 inches. If I were to do triangles to avoid y seams like I did for the top of the cubes, then 3.5 inches
@@seweasybysandyThank you. Appreciate your response, I found all the other dimensions but not that particular one. I have done the Tumbling Block before with the Yseams, so it will be interesting to try this method. Have a gr8 day.
Great! Let me know how it went 😁
Thank you for this tutorial for not having to use the Y seams. I placed an order for the titanium blades. I found out about them on another channel and wanted some. Thank you for the discount!
@@karin0963 let me know what you think once you try them 😁
I like Y seams. What's wrong with them?
It can be intimidating for beginners
Just get on with project
