Hiya butt, love your vids, been watching since the early reliant days lol. I need to ask a massive favour regarding a reliant....... I've got a Robin that I suspect has a blown head gasket, could you possibly diagnose and repair it? I cant be far away from you cos we got the same accent lol
@@StevesMachinesto be fair they are 30 years old. Mine was undersealed twice since getting to the U.K. but only welded once on a patch on one sill. Now the non undersealed parts have got a few holes forming so it’s time.

Mine has to go after 11 years ownership and 190k miles.
Finally rust.
They do like to rust sadly, my keeper has had a lot of welding over the years.

If it's only small bits it's worth doing.
All it needs is premium quality concrete. I have taxed much worse……
Feck me they rot worse than a Transit.
Yeah but a transit does it in five years, this van took 29 years 😆
Not will it start. More Will it pass an MOT. If not, a weekends work init ? lol
You have to tape a few a hundred twenties underneath that one to pass an mot 😆
Stick to Reliants, there's far less rust
And easier to work on. Ant revival soon, it's making its way to the NEC in Nov.
@@StevesMachines Can't wait to see that. Will it be an 850cc engine of one from something exotic?
Probably an 850, but I do wonder if the 1000cc Aprilia motor would be awesome in there.
@@StevesMachines That would make it a flying ant that can really sting!
