So, Vivien doesn't Sac as a cost so a "better" play would be to respond to the Activation of her ability rather than her cast in case Cam had a counter spell.
Not everyone knows that. Also theoriatically if your opponent doesn't use the first ability and goes for the other 2.
This "begin" is going to be my new way of starting every EDH game I ever play from now on.
Man cam made it his goal in life to make this game as hard on Dylan as possible. Great game and we'll played everyone. Also rip that consultation.

Games where you're able to squeak out a win after misplays or choosing to delay shit are so crazy- sometimes you need to put so much work in just to stay ahead of everyone trying to take you down

Love to see the updated Tymna Tana deck in action. Would you guys consider playing some Pauper cEDH on the channel? I've been having TONS of fun with that format recently, playing with some friends who can't afford a cEDH budget.
I’m really curious to see how Brallin and Shabraz would hold up now. I’ve been liking the connive mechanic in the deck . Notably from ledger shredder but also from change of plans. Connive at instant speed and creature protection. Another cheesy add that I have to mention is murderers axe. If you already have a curiosity type card in hand then open the armory can grab murderers axe for a discard outlet. Play to win is my favorite gameplay channel - you all are awesome.
8:35 couldn't you tutor for Felidar Guardian, float a red with Plateau, play Guardian and flicker Plateau, then cast Kiki and still get the win?
it's because of games like this one that I'm a strong proponent for Rakdos Charm on EDH, it destroys artifacts, hoses down graveyard decks, and lets your opponent commit zudoku with their kiki-jiki combo

i don't know if it was intentional (so i'm sorry if it wasn't!) but the outro felt like you guys were acting like you have never done an outro before and i found it really funny

Something worth noting is you can still win with pod lines second main., if you have another three drop you can use the standard pod line and can end by sacking a 2 drop to get mayhem devil to kill peeps since kiki jikis end step trigger sacrifices the tokens

I love seeing bloodpod since it’s the only cedh deck I have, but I also love the power of toxril. I have a normal version that I like to bully token decks with, but I am interested in making him cedh. Urborg plus kormus bell is brutal.

Hey Dylan, do you still have Mayhem Devil in the pod list? Don’t know if you’re aware of this or not, but it enables the deck to win in the end step. The tokens that Kiki makes get sacked at EOT which triggers MD an infinite number of times 😁.

So i had an idea after watching the sliver food chain deck. Couldnt you do something similar with tiamat. Once you do squee and food chain you could cast tiamat, find mirrym wyrm sentinel, worldgorger dragon, and scourge of valkys. You play mirrym and scourge, doesnt matter the order then you play world gorger and machine gunt the table with scourge of valkas's ETB. Alternatively if you make 24 mana in the right color combonation you can pull it off withought food chain but I doubt thats likely to happen.
I'm sorry I might be missing something. why do you need world gorger and mirrym? if you have food chain established and infinite mana of every color couldnt you just recastand sac tiamat?
@@mark1A100 i thought about that after posting this comment lol. The worldgorger, scourge, myrmm combo is still a good back up that tiamat tutors for though. Also if you have infinite mana and no sac outlet itll get the job done.

What happened with the Demonic Consultation? I thought that he didn’t need to exile the rest of his deck because he drew mana crypt as the first card
Demonic consultation has you exile the top 6 cards of your library. If the card you named is in the top 6, you lose the game. You can’t draw from exile.

Good game but I can't help but wonder if they really play this fast or do they speed it up with slick editing. Cuz I like to think I'm good at magic but I find it hard to follow cuz I'm a Timmy
Most of the game is edited out, I don't think it's unusual for games like this to take nearly an hour to play. I remember in one of the videos they were making mistakes and missing triggers all over the place and cut away to explain the game had been going on for almost 2 hours so they were all not really with it by the end of the game.
