Great interview, jam packed with useful information and insights. Thank you. If I settle in Serbia, I stay in contact with Nemanja, consult him because he understands the system very well and he comes across willing and helpful 👍
@@WarrenJulieTravel Message to Nemanja: Appreciate you and all the value you bring us. What termed "entrepreneur" in Serbia, is more commonly called 'self-employed' outside Serbia. I think your clients more readily relate to that
This is very useful information for anyone planning to move to Serbia! I’ve been reading the tax law here and would confirm that it is pretty straightforward and simple, but as Nemanja said everyone should check it for themselves as there are of course exceptions. For example if you are an entrepreneur it depends where your headquarters are and if you have a Serbian address where you lead your company from. For us EU citizens it’s easy, I’m happy to hear that in the future it will be better for the US citizens too hence the double taxation preventing agreement.
Hello everyone! If there are any questions, feel free to write in the comments. Me or my guys at the office will do our best job to answer as soon as possible. Nemanja.
I’m saving up right now to relocate to Serbia (not retirement age yet). I just want a better life than what is affordable in the US. I would not have thought to consider Serbia until I saw you talking about it. Thank you for all the helpful videos!
I can really recommend Serbia for the quality of life. We came here for one month only and stayed for years as we loved living in Serbia so much. It’s very easy to settle down here as people are so lovely and it’s so easy to make friends with locals.
Hey Warren and Juliy for citizenship in Serbia when you go for it, do you need to know how to speak the language like some other countries require you to do?Z Also is language well spoken in Serbia
@@alekseit6285Well, I wouldn't say most people, but a majority of young people (under 50 🙂) speak good or at least decent English. Fluency is a totally different level.
@@WarrenJulieTravel I was speaking from my perspective and in my perspective, there are no pros for Serbia. Once they join the Schengen area, maybe. But until then, no thank you.
Well we listened to Warren and Julie - we went to Nemanja and now have our 3 year visas! No regrets. Love the Serbs.
Congratulations 🍾
Thank you Warren, Julie and Nemanja - do appreciate your effort and sound information.

There are no language exams when applying for Serbian citizenship. Most people in Serbia speak fluent English.

We are always happy when the Serbian people can speak English. It is very helpful for us:)
Thx

Unfortunately, Serbia is not part of the Schengen area.
This has its pros and cons.
