Another excellent video, guys. We have spent 11 months going down a different path that was about to see us having to store or vehicle until we reached out to Marcus last week. The team have been our guardian angels sorting us out with everything we need to stay on the road in less than a week. I can't thank them enough and would have zero hesitation recommending them in the future.

    More questions (simple. Lol)
Recommended websites to look for cars?
Where is your company located in Germany?
How long after we arrive in Germany to purchase a car do you have the car registered, inspected and insured?

Would Carturf work if I shipped my own car from Canada to Europe for a year.

I do believe Marcus can work with this situation. Please feel free to reach out to him directly or email us at warrenjulietravel@gmail.com and we will connect you.

If you are shipping a car, you can use it for up to one year as a tourist with liability insurance and keep it registered in Canada. If you want to import it for the long-term, it's more complicated. You'd need to import it as a resident somewhere in the EU OR sell it to an EU person or company like CarTurf where then we would import it for you. But it's crucial to see if it's even worth importing for the 10% import fee and 19% VAT AND on top of that whether you'd need to make any modifications to meet EU standards. Depending on the car, it could be costly. It's usually best to buy a car that's already in the EU.
