- After all these years, going on 7 years playing this game sometimes nonstop, I've finally managed to get a 1:06. I was so far ahead of my previous PB (1:07:06 but with 1:07:01 splits that didnt meet A-Rank requirements) I took the 14 second sacrifice on 2 cycling King Boo just to finally put this mental roadblock to rest.
I've had 5 runs on 1:06 pace into King Boo during the last 2 weeks, and all 4 of those failed the 1 cycle. While I could possibly have had a 1:06:28 with once again risking the 1 cycle this run, a 1:06:42 I'm more than ecstatic about.
I truly hope someone beats this, I want a reason to come back once again down the road. The Sitting Room clip takes a lot of time to gain the muscle memory for which has demotivated many runners from progressing their time in this category, but it is absolutely worth it. Even if it takes 100 hours of practice on a 20 second segment I'm proud to have stuck it out on what is considered the hardest trick in Luigi's Mansion Speedrunning to date. Until then though, it appears I can finally put this to rest. - เกม

It's a frame perfect trick which is very hard to do.
Also even if you get it, he can break out randomly at 2 HP as I know..

How do you suck up ghosts so fast is it bc of different game versions?
Idk if there's a difference in game versions but playing on hidden mansion makes ghosts take damage faster. You can tell they're playing on hidden mansion from the star next to the Gameboy.

Yeah a 1:05 could definitely happen if more people are willing to take up the sitting room clip. Right now though there are so many 1 frame tricks in the route I wouldn't be surprised if 1:05 takes 3+ years. And if other runners continue without the skew 1:05 isn't viable at all. I'm done with doing runs at least until someone breaks this record so it'll almost certainly be a long time unless someone gets really serious about the new routing
