Every time I accidentally kill Ashley I dropped down to the floor irl like Leon and say “oh no” if you don’t do this you’re not getting the immersive re4 experience.
this rarelt happens to me, I only ever pulled the trigger on Ashley intentionally EXCEPT one time when i had just unlocked the Infinite Rocket Launcher, which resulted in a count of nearly 92 deaths before chapter 2-2 and a few Ashley downs in the process

@@cpt_noah Old Ashley -Has almost no A.I so she can't do anything on her own -Can be ordered to stay still -Can keep up with the player speed -Never gets in front of the line of fire -Requires health items to be kept alive New and ''better" Ashley -Inconsistent A.I -Cannot keep up with the player -Can get stuck in level geometry -Formation 2 is no different than formation 1 and only makes things worse -Cannot stay still anymore -No consequences for taking damage Such an improvement
Ashley is quite the character as a whole; There are Pros and Cons to both Versions. I appreciate the Remake Version for the genuine personality in the character while the Older Version is much better to control in terms of gameplay
@@cpt_noah The simple fact that Og Ashley has better mechanical controls automatically makes her superior, personality is worthless if the gameplay fails to match up something that was already perfect in 2005. Not only that but even if OG ashley was insufferable as a character(She wasn't) i can easily skip the cutscenes, something i can't do with terrible A.I
