- Hey Pie-o-nears.... Satisfactory Version 1.0 is coming in 2024 and its time to have some real fun, and now i just want to go nuts with an interesting playthrough. In this ep of our modded playthrough we are going through the farming as well as what it takes to make a slug farm... yep this one is going to be long and nuts. but well worth the fun.

If you plan to expand on the farming->food->eggs->slugs, make sure to go to steam power. Normal bio burners cant keep up with the power demands.
Also, small tip: each biome has two of the three 'dirt' types and you have found the 2 desert types.
Thanks, it really seems like steam is the way to go, and i finally found some so at least i can scan for it now.
@@DrawingXaos you have the infrastructure to produce biomass/biofuel from dirt water. So you are half way there. You just need water. And now that you said you plan to re-build the starting factory (before going space elevator), spend some time to get some hard drives. The new alt recipes are either overpowered or meh. Hope you get lucky and get a couple good ones (especially for biofuel/steam upgrade)

Wait a minute, how did you add a pole to the middle of the wire at 11:26? Is there a mechanic I've been missing for years that would have made powering my factories so much easier
yeah if you are trying ot build a power pole, and aim it at a wire, you will split the wire automatically. its really useful. i think they added it in update 6 or 7
Wait till you get to the green slugs. Buggy as heck so I stopped due to 1.0 they are reworking the entire mod. So expect a lot of bugs with later slugs.
i got to dark green and red and had to stop, mods great just i cant wait for them to fix how some of the machines process so it runs better. over all when im done with 1.0 i am so coming back to finish this mod.
