I have 5 on pre order, unlike older unit that were limited in CPU this new version has the power we need for industrial imaging and video work,
I will using Win 10 on 2 of them but the other 3 will run on Windows 7 as the industrial software does not support 10. This is very common currently

Many of our customers need Windows 7 for backwards compatibility with legacy applications. The Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme Tablet is available with either Windows 7 or Windows 10. #IWork4Dell

And when the industry is done renting out the last model, they enter the ebay market where consumers like me can get them for cheap. Perfect!

"you can attach the rugged RGB backlit keyboard"
What? Why is does an industrial keyboard have RGB backlighting?

Our customers asked for it. Low-light conditions. Choose red if you want to preserve night vision. White if you aren't as concerned about it, but need to see what you're typing on. #IWork4Dell

Ugly, unattractive and has an out of date OS, plus the specs are not for me 👎

Furthermore, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What's prettier, a machine that can withstand combat environments or a cute thin slate that's bent in half? #IWork4Dell
