You do realise that an explosive atmosphere cannot "hit" your or take off your limbs, dont you ?
No it means it cannot IGNITE a dangerous atmosphere such as an explosive atmosphere, because it does not produce sparks or high enough voltages or even if it does they're "insulated" from the atmosphere

Its a standard requirement in the Oil Industry. It probably means that the device is intrinsically safe, i.e., it is safe to use in an environment that contains flammable vapors. A lot of devices like cellphones, cameras, flashlights, walkie talkies etc have to be certified before they can be used on oil Riggs and ships that carry oil for this very reason.

+XtremeGamez try downloading the newest drivers and if that doesn't work try downloading msi afterburner or equivalent overclocking tool and resetting it to default, but im pretty sure you jsut need to update its drivers

An explosive atmosphere rating means it can safely be used in volatile environments like gas production (propane,natural gas etc) plants and it won't cause an explosion....a lot of flashlights have similar ratings.

This reminds me of the old Inspiron laptop I had. That thing was as rugged as a brick and the ability to have a CD drive or two batteries was fantastic and something more devices need to do. If only this wasn't so expensive..

For linus: An explosive atmosphere could be working inside a grain silo collecting data for some reason or other as the dust from the grain can become explosive due to its nature and the amount inside it. dont think you have a grain silo attached to the new building unless you are really into granola.

Quick question: I am buying my first ever PC later this month for £550 and it says it doesn't come with an Operating System, do I need to go out and buy Windows 10. I assume since you can upgrade for free if you have previous versions, they would give it out for free anyway but I am just double checking so I don't make a fool of myself.

This and the iPad both look pretty good, but in different ways. (There's just something about the ruggedised look)
So I'm guessing this to be used in conditions where you head off to study volcanoes or sawmill work or construction work or diamond mining... They all need computers sometimes and their current ones are pretty full of dust and break constantly.

have a gaming laptop with an i7 2.6ghz turbo 2.8. This machine is perfect for CSGO albeit THE THERMAL THROTTLING ON THE I7! It throttles down to 798mhz really easy. I've tried throttle stop but the temps got to 98 degrees. The laptop is a lamborghini VX7 (pretty much a Asus G53) If anyone knows how to combat this issue please help. Even just throttlestop settings to safely run it. Or is 98 degrees ok to run at?
