One Word to describe : amazing
The band has always been excellent especially when SP was singing. After they hired Pineda he started out sounding a lot like SP and now their writing new material Pineda sounds like Pineda no longer has the Steve Perry sound that journey was built on until he belts on the tunes that made Journey popular.
Sry just an observation and critique. I met SP in the late 70's during a concert in Reno Nev fairgrounds. Eddie Money opened for them. Great show !
I listened to Steve in the 1980’s but I went out and bought the CD. That’s what will put Arnel on the map.

Long time fan of Journey! Yeah I miss Steve Perry. His voice was just amazing and he will be remembered as a leader forever in this wonderful group. But all things considered the music must live on and this new lead is a blessing to fans in his own right now to create that great music we love

The whole Album is great! Loved Steve Perry when he was with the band, but I equally love Arnell's voice and what he has added to the band. Appreciate each singer for their God gifted talent without comparisons! Congrats on another winner, Journey!

I love Deeno's pounding drums and off beat percussion, Neal's ripping guitar licks, Todd's bass runs especially at the end, Jon's soft piano accents, and of course Arnel's vocals!! I think it has a fantastic combination of NEW and somehow CLASSIC Journey, at the same time!!
That’s the feel I have as well. I’ve been a fan since 1979 and this song gave me the chills. Older Journey, mid-Journey and present rolled into one. Magic!

yeah, it is a good group. I'm concerned that Neil is about to blow things up though. Not sure I heard what all the drama has been with Jon or anyone else. Obviously, Jon and his wife Paula White are very much conservative Christians. Unfortunately, some part of that seems to be an issue with Neil...directly or not. I hope they all can get this figured out, for everyone's sake.

I’m just grateful to know that I can enjoy Journey just like my aunt and mother did when they were growing up. Even if Steve isn’t the lead singer anymore I’m still going to enjoy the presence of Arnel. I just love feeling like I’m in the 80s.

We are so lucky to be a part of the story of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Neal continues to write his legacy and he has so much more inspiration and music to give us. I saw them in March and it was an incredible experience. Journey has one of the greatest musical sounds and it’s amazing we’re still getting to experience it to this day. Keep rocking fellas

There is only on Steve Perry, there is only onlyone Jim Jamison, there is only one Michael Bolton, there is only one Joe Elliot, and the hurt goes on with every word. Well I absolutely loved Steve Perry and still do but let's be honest there's no way he could sing his songs for two and a half hours straight and it's unfortunate but you know that's life and we all get older and I think it's been amazing to see Arnel take the wings and killing it every night with love and respect for Mr.Steve Perry an he's got to be proud of him

Whatever Journey did for this album is a winner. Adding Deen, songwriting, Arnel’s voice rested…whatever was added to the magic mixture has had a new level effect. I get chills with this song and it isn’t even live. Says alot!
Deen is such an underrated force. Powehouse drummer with soaring vocals. The guy is a gold mine of talent.
Narada Michael Walden's influence is a lot to do with it.... its brought back the classic AOR feel that will always be the real Journey sound to me. Great comeback album.
