Hi there..I have a 2004 fwd transmission that skips 2nd gear when shifting and hesitates a little in 1st gear too ..could that be because of a bad solenoid? @fixchanics please help
I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander limited. Reading same code. Had the solenoid replaced, but the same code is still appearing and it still want shift properly into Drive, but yet it shifts properly in the other modes shifts properly , meaning I feel and hear the shifting gears when I shift but not in the (Drive) mode and it also want drive as it should. What's next?
Hi , I have 2006 Toyota sienna with almost 200k miles. The transmission is acting up , I got code p0776 and p0746 I changed the 3 short solenoids and it got shifting well again but after driving a little while it doesn’t want to go back into first gear if I stop, please help
Thank you very much. My 2008 toyota sienna when is parked overnight, in the morning when i go to drive, I have to go over 4000 rpm for the car to move, when the car get hot I have no problem. Do you think if I change the solenoid it will fix? I have this problem of over 6 months and just one time the car showed the code P2714. I did a scanner and clean the code and never showed up again.

My sisters car had only 2nd and third, used a code reader. Said it was solenoid SLT, S4, and SL1, I changed those and now it doesn’t even shift into ANY gear at all. I’ve took it apart twice, changed the solenoids again and still nothing. I don’t get what’s wrong with it.
What diagnostic tool you using to see the solenoids, and do you know what to look for when buying an obd2 scanner so you know it will let you see all electronics in transmission
What solenoid did you replace? I have the same issue with "B" perf/stuck off. I tested the line pressure control solenoid, shift solenoid valves: SL2, and SL3, and changed the filter (strainer assy.) But after putting back together its still slipping as soon as it shifts, or attempts to shift into 3rd

How many bolt are hoding that valves body. I cant figure out. Which bolt only have to remove thanks😊

Hi my 2004 sienna awd drives good for 30 minutes. But after that wont go in Drive only in reverse. You think its the transmission? Not codes

So a small spring and a black clip with what looks like a roller ball on the end of it came out when I dropped it where and what are those parts
