It is a beautiful stitch. I've made a swatch. If you do odd multiples of six it doesn't turn out symmetrical, like 18. It turned out fine with 24.
I have crocheted what seems like one hundred projects since October but was really just 20. I used your tutorials/patterns for all of them. I'd start off with some other tutorial and I got exasperated Everytime. I came home to BOD and Crystal. My ponchos (13) were hits. The scarves were winners all. The bags amazed. Love this stitch!!! Something you can do almost anywhere and not have to constantly look back at a pattern. Great for a beginner to feel like they have done something so impressive but still beginner friendly.
The yarn you chose Crystal is so beautiful as is the scarf.

Very easy to follow tutorial and matched well with the written pattern from her eBay shop. I've been working on learning to read the written patterns and having the video tutorial helps a lot. Made this with the Mandala Ombre from lion brand yarns in Felicity. I made mine a bit bigger so ended up using 3 full yarn bundles. Nice easy pattern to follow for a mostly beginner.

I just finished this today. I never could find this yarn by Loops and Threads so I got some from ICE Yarns and it worked up beautifully. I posted a picture on the Facebook page earlier today. Great pattern!!

I’m making this in Red Heart Unforgettable the color is Gossamer. Really pretty but even though it’s a 4 medium, I think it’s a Roving yard, pretty thin in some spots. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial.

Thank you Crystal. I do not exaggerate! I have a problem and I think you’re the one person that’s going to be able to help me if possible. I have a Afghan that I am very proud of it’s only the second one I’ve made and I’ve had so many people ask me where I bought it. There is a hole in it and one of the sleeves that I don’t know where it came from I wrecked my own brain trying to figure out how to how to fix it and not take away from the Afghan her from the sweater but I don’t know I was wondering if there’s someway I can send you a picture of It and get your opinion?

This reminds me of a cowl you did. I absolutely love that stitch! I've used it in several weights & made a couple lacy infinity scarves, the cowl, and a blanket. I'd love to figure out how to make it into a lacy top.
