Thanks for posting this video. I love that you can set the tire pressure and walk away and it will turn off on it's own. Ordered mine and getting it tomorrow. Can't wait!
Was reviewing the manual, it states only use it for 10 minutes if inflating more than 100 psi (Pg 9) and when storing wait 30 minutes to avoid fire hazard (Pg 3)
I bought this. The high pressure side for vehicle tires works well. The air blower side is crap. Can't even blow up a balloon. I'm literally trying right now. It's never been used before.
I’ve seen some comments about difficulty putting the hoses/cords back. That has to be a user issue as I just purchased one of these and have had zero issues putting the cords back in place. I have used it to fill bike tires, inflatable bed (inflate and deflate quickly), and topped off boat tires. As some have said, it is a little slower vehicle tires than a regular compressor. This was the case on boat tires but the ease of use and auto stop once it reaches desired pressure is awesome.
Yeah it’s pretty sweet little tool, I think people are having trouble with the power cord on the side compartment. I never use the cord, so it doesn’t bother me. I fill my 80psi tires with it all the time Cheers
@@wesleym7927seriously. Being a contractor, I have a dozen dewalt cordless tools. This would be the main reason most people, especially men would buy this inflator, for auto tires. I loved this tool until I found out it’s not going to be a good thing for my 80 psi work truck tires or even the standard vehicle tires I so often need it for. Won’t buy it until they improve on it.
How long does the battery last? How do you charge it thru car 12v socket? If like the battery is low, can you still use it to inflate a tire with the 12v connection?
I don't own this. Yet. I will be buying it. I'm 99% sure it comes with the 12v adapter but not the 110v ac adapter. That has to purchased separately and they go for around $40-$45.
Mine defaults to Bar (UK) but when I look closely at the LCD display, I see it's got BAR, kPA and PSI too. Does anyone know how to switch between them?
Well, I've found the manual, so I can answer my own question! "To switch between units, press and hold the inflation mode switch and the LED light switch while rotating the pressure adjustment knob"
No doubt This has been a handy tool only used it a couple times, but its nice being able to pump tyres without having to be plugged into a wall/car However, i am really not impressed with the build quality. I'm well aware most tool brands hire other (cheaper) manufacturers for these little gadgets so its highly unlikely DeWalt actually made this But it just feels really cheap and nasty And that's really frustrating especially when I could have easily bought a cheap pump for maybe $10 But I happily paid at least 10x that because i like DeWalt products But this.. I mean shit maybe the internals are really solid But a product this expensive should not feel as weak as this thing does
Here's what I dislike about the Dewalt tire inflator... it doesn't charge the battery with either 12V or 120V when it easily could with both. Dewalt screws over customers just to sell a low-end charger. That and that they charge $45 for an $8 A/C adapter. It's not new, or different, all companies fuck their customers to make a few more dollars. Bravo Dewalt.
It’s definitely not fast. But what battery operated small compressor is? The cord is definitely a challenge to get back in the compartment but it can be done if you wrap it properly.
Air mattresses, rafts, bike tires... what would you use this for most?
Bike tires for sure! 👍
Large vacuum pack bags.
Inflatable dolls... for a friend 😂

@@gerardoalcazar4997 good to know. I definitely have used it a lot longer then that 😳
Bought mine mid-summer 2021. Love it. Inflated tires and rafts so far. Also got the 120v attachment in case….

Just got one. To air up tires since im too lazy to lug a compressor around. works great.
I love it, plug it in and walk away. Come back and it’s all done 😁

is there a way to attach a dual air chuck to inflate a tire whose valve is difficult to reach for the screw-on hose end?
Its a great inflator, it also can output some high PSI and has no problem filling an air pig to 100+ PSI
Thanks Man, very helpful. I had to watch a couple of these before I really understood, but you covered it Great. TY!
Thank you, happy it helped!
You didn’t mention so thought I would ask. Can this be used for something like a truck tire or camper tire?
That’s the only reason I was looking to get one of these.
Absolutely it’s not super fast but works great!
Why not show it inflate a real car/truck tire . Something that really taxes the unit?
Because that would show how slow it is with only 1cfm at 90psi 😅
Probably has 8cfm at 27psi lol
Bud this is a portable emergency type deal and for smaller things! Who the hell would buy this purposely for car or truck tires😂😂😂😂

Could you use this as mini dust blower?
Does it come with the attachment to fill up truck tires etc?

Can’t charge it using car 12V DC, only acts as a power supply
So, what’s the max PSI it will fill to?
You didnt include how you can plug this in to a regular wall outlet rather then just the lighter attachment.
Can you use this with optional AC and no battery installed? I don’t want to buy a better, just the AC cord and DC that it comes with.

Great video thank you. Does it have an adapter so it can fill presta and Schrader valves?
yes, it has both
i need this product
Nice tyre Inflator.
Where is the 120v capability as advertised?
Does it work with 18V XR battery packs?
Great video! Very cool! THANK YOU!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!

Is it rated for full size pick up truck tires?
It works on mine. I have 80 psi on my truck. It’s not as fast as a compressor but it gets the job done
Can u fill a car tire
Yeah no problem, my truck takes 80psi. It’s slower than an air compressor but it gets the job done.
Do you think I can use this to blow out a clogged A/C Line? (I was trying to avoid buying a shop vac.
It might work, I can’t say I’ve Ever done that before,
Awesome I bought one
What connector does it use for car tires?
The bike tube he inflated in the video uses the exact same style valve, it's called Schrader valve.

so it can't defalte car's tires?
no it cant deflate car tires, only larger holes, like on rafts, mattresses
Bought this because my father-in-law is full of hot air.
So if you get rid of him , go to another country and get rid of him. If you don't want him , what makes you think we do?😂😂😂😂 It's a joke😂😂
No PSI indictor for the hose.....
🤙🏼🎄🎁🤣🍻🍺

Ryobi has a similar product for $100 WITH the tool/battery/charger.
@@fcv1967 And it's exactly the same way... you have to use the charger to charge the battery.
Out of stock on Amazon
Keep checking, sometimes those out of stock items become available again pretty quick!
IT IS CRAP YOU CAN'T NOT PUT THE CORD BACK IN IT'S PLACE TO FIT AND IT IS NOT THAT FAST
