I bought one and took it to OBX to re-inflate my tires after driving on the beach. It took 5 minutes to inflate from 17 psi to 37 psi. So 20 minutes and I was back on the road. I am very pleased!
I have used this Dewalt tire inflators many times due to the wife loved to drive the car over the nail all the time. I did use this Dewalt tire inflator to pump up the tire before I can drive to Costco tire to repair.
Hey man, you're awesome and I'm not normally the guy who corrects people but just a heads up. Cold air is not less dense... cold air is always more dense than warm air. But the point you're trying to make is clear anyways, so thanks again.
Dirt farmer Jay this is the best video of info. I don’t no what it is your voice the back round music or how simple you are. Thank you to Easy I love it..
Hello Mr. Farmer, I love this idea and I’m so glad you shared this video because I’m in the market for such a thing and this is a perfect gift for myself and dad! Thank you as always
You'll really enjoy having this device. We use it ongoing. Thanks for writing! Check out our website and such at www.dirtfarmerjay.com as well. The best to you and yours - DFJ
Great informative video I just got mine 2 days ago and super happy with it , but I'm on the market now to get some batteries any recommendations since ? Thanks again. 😊
I'm gonna buy one of these and then watch as everyone I know talks about how 'that's way, way, way, too much money for a portable compressor.' Of course it looks like it works much better than a cheap portable unit to me and I think it'd be a worth the current $99 price.
Thanks for doing the review. I have one of these and it is accurate and turns off when it gets to the right pressure.👍 I bungee strapped an N557514 AC adapter to it, for use at home. 👍 On the road I have found it may not work with the 12v outlet. 👎 You have to run the engine or it draws too much current - starts and shuts off immediately. On a mazda cx-5, I could not get it to run even with the engine running 👎👎 That means I would need to invest in a dewalt battery & charger as my B&D battery won't fit. $$$$$ Sometimes a dual cylinder foot pump (with a good frame) can get you out of a hole. 😄
what advantages does this bring you that a 12 volt inflator does not? you have to remember to periodically keep the battery charged and it comes at a hefty price point for something that is well covered in the marketplace by other appliances that are a lot cheaper. I am sorry, I just don't see the point in a 24 volt tire charger
Richard, thanks for the feedback. So far, still running strong for us. I wonder if you can get it serviced and bring it back to prime condition? Is it still under warranty? Best, DFJ
10 minutes only run-time (before resting it 20 mins) is limiting for say, 4x4 off the beach where you need to pump up all tyres.... A great around -home tool..
Glad you got one! If you can afford it, I'd still with the genuine DeWalt batteries, 20V, at least 4 amp hours. If you can, get two, so you have one on the charger and one on the unit. As for the charger, their basic models work fine. Lower priced chargers charge the battery slower, but do fine overnight or having one on the base. I hope this helps! Best, DFJ
DJ Acid - sorry for the delayed response! Making the change from one unit of measurement to another is built in, but not very intuitive. To make the change from Bar to PSI, push the two right-hand black buttons down simultaneously while rotating the black dial selector (the one used for setting the desired tire pressure). You'll see the display toggle to each available measurement. Thanks for watching our video and taking time to write! Best Regards, DFJ
Gigantor60 - yes indeed. Sorry for not emphasizing that feature. They seemed to have thought this thing through well. I use it ongoing. Helped someone in the parking lot the other day, in fact. Handy for inflating sports balls too. Best, DFJ
Thanks for watching and commenting. Did you purchase this inflator? If so, this machine actually comes with different attachments in various shapes. Chances are you already have one that will blow away tiny particles. Best to you. DFJ
This unit can be powered by using Dewalt's optional AC Power adapter. This converts 110V AC to 12 V DC. This should be part number DCC0201B. You should expect to spend about $25. Best, DFJ
Game Ops, thanks for writing. I'm not familiar with the Craftsman model, so I can't advise you on that. I suspect it will be similar as major tool manufacturers don't like to have egg on their face with another competing brand offering something clearly superior. I hope that helps - thanks for watching our video! Best, DFJ
John, it looks well made overall. Although, I did have the little nubs that hold the blower hose onto the output side chip off. It still works, but think they should have beefed that up. Other than that, the case, controls and accessories all look good. The maximum it will inflate up to is 160 psi. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching our video! Best , DFJ
I don't really understand how so many electric powertool makers are not including battery or charger. I saw an electric chain-saw in the h/ware store being sold with no battery. If you cannot use it without a battery, what's the point of selling it like that? I'd rather the manufacturer of these products just included everything in one package and charged whatever extra price a battery/charger etc would cost, instead of farting around with separate purchases.
John, thanks for watching and taking the time to write! I've seen both approaches from cordless tool companies. In my case, I have several chargers already, as well as a strong supply of batteries (although you almost can't have too many!), so I will look for "bare tool" offers - the ones that do only offer the tool with no other accessories. I have my eye on a DeWalt Cordless chucked drill. Because tool companies want you to get "addicted" to their toolset, they will run irresistible deals to get you to get a full complement of batteries and chargers for their system. Such is the case for that drill I want. The drill alone is $149. The drill with two batteries, charger, canvas bag AND the drill is $99. I know what they are up to, but I'm already committed to this series of tools, so I'll play their game. The best to you and yours - DFJ
Is about saving money. If most projects only require a couple cordless power tools, it doesn't make sense having batteries and chargers for every single tool; Especially when adding a battery and or charger typically raises the price $50-100 for each tool.
This is way too much money for an inflator! I paid $30 for an inflator that plugs into the cigarette lighter and just as effective. Inflates my tire in 10-15 minutes. Plus it needs no battery and is small enough and compact to keep in my car.
Ed, I use this to keep full sized vehicle tires maintained rather than filling them from being empty. For this purpose, it works really well. I'd say the average "top off" is about a minute. Thanks for writing! Best, DFJ
Don't buy DeWalt. When working for a large manufacturer about 15 years ago, a former DeWalt / Black & Decker VP told us that DeWalt tools were actually Black & Decker mechanisms with flashy DeWalt molding and then marketed for a higher price. Similar to changing the destination retailer's label during the same production run with different prices, e.g. Lowes and Dollar General.
David, sorry for the delayed response. I suspect that a lot more of this practice goes on across many brands than any of us are comfortable with. There are many brands within brands in tooling, manufacturing and even food brands. Thanks for writing and sharing your thoughts. Best Regards, DFJ
Pointless and expensive. anything around the home can be run off a mains powered pump that is a fraction of the price of this "bare" unit. Anything for the car can be run off 12 volts. The only scenario i could see this being useful is if you had a flat battery and tire. in which case this unit would only solve the tire issue.
insert name here - thanks for watching and taking time to express your opinion. Indeed, this machine also comes with the capability to run from 12V outlets in the vehicle. Even so, I've found this inflator to be incredibly handy in helping another motorist, or quickly inflating tires, balls, and small volume tires for garden carts and trailers. It's been a good investment for us. Best Regards, DFJ

Just bought one of these, used your video to figure out how to use it, and I'm just super impressed. Love the inflator, thank you for this video!
I have used this Dewalt tire inflators many times due to the wife loved to drive the car over the nail all the time. I did use this Dewalt tire inflator to pump up the tire before I can drive to Costco tire to repair.
They come in very handy around here as well.

This was the first DEWALT tool I bought that started my whole black and yellow obsession
Как сейчас работает?
Dirt farmer Jay this is the best video of info. I don’t no what it is your voice the back round music or how simple you are. Thank you to Easy I love it..
Thanks, Robert! 👍
Don’t forget to mention the Presta Adapter that it comes with ;) Nice review.
I just got mine in the mail. Waiting on the battery and charger which were shipped separately. Can't wait!
Hello Mr. Farmer,
I love this idea and I’m so glad you shared this video because I’m in the market for such a thing and this is a perfect gift for myself and dad!
Thank you as always
I JUST ORDERED ONE FROM EBAY AT A GREAT PRICE, THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT REVIEW JAY.
I just got mine yesterday. Going to be my RV take-along.

GR8 Gift for Upcoming Fathers Day!!
Indeed!
Practical advice from a guy that loves a good tool that really works as claimed.
Perfect Straight to The Point Video. Respect.

Thank you sir. I bought me one today to keep in my car

Greetings from California! I might just add one of those to my handy dandy DeWalt collection!
Thanks for watching David!
Also runs on 110v...but you have to purchase the optional cord.
Yeah, my only complaint is that everything is optional once you buy the pump. EVERYTHING.
I bought one. Love it. And uses same batteries as my impact. My wife can and does use this easily.
Formula Firebird - glad to hear it. We really like having this unit. Best, DFJ

if you have to select "see all buying options" its never a good sign
Great video. Is there a way to clean out the intake vent at all? Seems that will be a problem even if not misused to use as a Vacum. Thoughts?
I have one. Worked about 9 months then got really weak. Still works for kids bicycles but won't go over 40psi now.
Richard, thanks for the feedback. So far, still running strong for us. I wonder if you can get it serviced and bring it back to prime condition? Is it still under warranty? Best, DFJ
Great device. Thanks for sharing.
Great review. Which battery model # is needed for DCC020IB? Which battery charger do you recommend?
I would use Dewalt"s 4 aH battery. It carries enough power to do the job. Thanks for writing. Best, DFJ
Thank you, I certainly will pick it up asap. This is something a female can handle!
Another fantastic video. Thank You!

Glad I could help, Rocky. Best Regards, DFJ
Thank you 🙏🏻 sir!
Good job on the video, every thing I needed to know.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for stopping by, Mike! Best, DFJ
Nice presentation. Thanks
Glad you liked it! Keep watching and commenting Frederick Schnepel! Best, DFJ
I bought one and am very pleased with it but the reading on mine is in bar. How can I change it to psi?

Cheers👍 I worked it out, great little unit
Thank you so much!
$89 at Home Depot
ordered 1
Can you plug it into an electrical outlet. The box says AC compatible
Gigantor60 - yes indeed. Sorry for not emphasizing that feature. They seemed to have thought this thing through well. I use it ongoing. Helped someone in the parking lot the other day, in fact. Handy for inflating sports balls too. Best, DFJ
It comes with a car lighter power chord but you have to buy the optional AC power chord separately if you want to use it at home.
Sir , you just an awesome 😎
Can I connect different nossels in there? Like blow gun to blow out the small tiny particles.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Did you purchase this inflator? If so, this machine actually comes with different attachments in various shapes. Chances are you already have one that will blow away tiny particles. Best to you. DFJ

Hello sir, awesome review! Quick question though, how does it compare with Craftsman air inflator? I’m contemplating which one to get between the two.
Game Ops, thanks for writing. I'm not familiar with the Craftsman model, so I can't advise you on that. I suspect it will be similar as major tool manufacturers don't like to have egg on their face with another competing brand offering something clearly superior. Great vudeo! Thank you
❤
Bought one year ago eleven months later screen reads blo which mean low battery but o it just blew itself. Don’t think much of it.
Hopefully it has a long lifespan!👍Will it do 60 lb truck and camper tires?
John, it looks well made overall. Although, I did have the little nubs that hold the blower hose onto the output side chip off. It still works, but think they should have beefed that up. Here I am in late ‘21 really wanting this inflator.
Lowes will ship this $99 unit, but shipping is $68 🙀
No thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting Richard Hanson. You might find a local Lowes that has them in stock and save the shipping. Best to you. DFJ

I'm guessing undisclosed sponsored video.
You're wrong on this one John B. DFJ purchased this inflator and liked it so much he made a video about it. NO SPONSORSHIP.
Four hours later one tire will be complete...next
